This may seem harsh but go to the union for your survival. Not the American taxpayer. The unions in this country are spending millions on things other than helping their members and what have they done for you? In the time it took you to do this video, you could be out there filling out an application. Plenty of work and jobs go unfilled everyday because you guys (and people like you) can make more on the dole than they can working. So what if you may have to start over. A lot of us have. UCT!

I agree 100% of what you say. I also live in California where I have been unemployed since June 2008. Company I worked for got bailed out but those of us who lost the jobs have not been hired back. I worked in the car dealerships for 20 years and like you in construction I am still not working

I love how congress has until May 28th to extend unemployment unti the end of the year for these people, and yet they are ignoring it completely. They should have done that back in April instead of the little extension that will run out in June. Why is America so quick with the cash to help other countries, and just shit on our own people?????

Don, Obuma was to busy with the Health INSURANCE bill.He could not care any less for regular americans. But the Democrats are the ones who started back with the "PAYGO" All the Repubs were doing was holding them to their own rules.

I have been unemployed for over 2 years,my LAST check was last week,so i am hoping they do another extension,but i doubt that they will.

I moved from California to Kentucky and I can say that there is more ads in the newspaper for jobs here in Kentucky than in California, If California is the same from when I left about an year ago. It was really bad, I was working at walmart overnighter and made just over enough to pay for an apartment I had which was 1200 an month so I got mad and left.

Way to go Donald! Hopefully America will realize we, the unemployed, can't afford basic necessities and there is NO INCENTIVE to stay on unemployment! Tired of them stating we are lazy, etc and that unemployment income is keeping us unemployed because we sit back and just take in the money.

THE MONEY IS NOT ENOUGH FOLKS!!! How many of you could live off of less than $10k a year! NOT MANY!!!
