Sometimes when I'm stretching my knee I feel/hear like a cracking noise, it doesn't hurt it actually feels kinda good but I was wondering, is that good/bad for my knee?my knee has been healing from a sprain since April
I am 22 y.o. female and I have VM atrophy on my right thigh. The doctor said: "It happens for unknown reasons. It will go away by itself." But I am very concerned - the muscle (VM) seemed to disappear completely - there is just a shallow spot on my thigh, where the muscle supposed to be. It doesn't affect my walking. Yet. Do you think these exercises will help?
Is is even better to do this only standing on the bad leg to train balance too? Or is it necessery to keep the knee going straight forward by helping out with the good leg?
Hello and thank you for the infomation. I am four months post op for a knee cap dislocation I had mpfl reconstruction and I am doing great. I just wanted to ask what more can I do to train this muscle
Adin - Would this exercise tend to help a chronic quadricep tendonitis problem (pain at the top of the knee cap) or would this exacerbate the problem? Thanks!

Good video, but one question:
how will a cable provide more consistent resistance than a band? When setup properly, there is nothing more consistent than band resistance...right?

A band is of variable resistance. The further your stretch a band the greater the tension.

had to operate my patellae cuz my vastus medialis was too weak, this causes a disbalance in ur patellae axis!
so train this muscle as good as u can to get a straight movement of ur kneecap.
