  • Absolutely beautiful music~ I play it during the craft/handmades shows I participate in. Very soothing and always adds another wonderful layer to the shows. Thank you for this video too!

  • This is such a "real" encapsulation of these two talented musicians, their music, and their personalities. Excellent job!

  • Steve and Ruth, I picked up a copy of An Appalachian Winter at The Dulcimer Shoppe in Mountain View last weekend. Until then I had never heard you play and I have enjoyed it so much. I am a beginning HD player and I was there for a workshop at the Ozark Folk Center. Ruth, I love your style of playing!

  • I really enjoyed this video! It was nice to hear about your background and the things in your lives that inspire your music. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear that you perform songs, too! So far, I had only heard instrumentals. A couple of questions for Ruth: What's the name of the tune you're playing at 05:00? Also, what are the red "tabs" to the right of your dulcimer's treble bridge?

Thanks for sharing yet another breathtaking video!
