  • 3 fületlen.....

  • every time I hear this I start to sweat and get goosebumps.. I feel like I'm getting an adrenaline kick. This song is the essence of Rock, energy. The raw energy of this song, its is amazing. The insane drums, and the speed of this song, this insane tempo the band, orchestra and singer switch to, listen at 2:25. And that insane tempo going on repeat every time.. Amazing.

  • SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I will never forget what Priscilla said about this song. She witnessed that she was travelling by car with Elvis, and suddenly on the radio this recording of Suspicious Minds was played for the first time. For her and especially for Elvis was a totally unique feel. He loved slower songs, he loved melodies like Suspicious Minds, Kentucky Rain, In The Ghetto more than ordinary rock n roll songs!

  • I love Jerry's bass...but listen to Tutt's drums...they BOTH peaked with this song!

  • what album is this available on? probably the best version of this song, and that bass player is just kicking ass.

  • That bass player was Jerry Scheff, who had just joined Elvis' TCB band the previous month (July, 1969). Needless to say, he was probably showing off a little to impress his new boss...and wow, he impressed this fan so much, that I am convinced this is the best bass work on any Elvis song, EVER!

  • actually Jewinho. i ran into a guy in elvis fan club that had a bootleg of this exact version...one and only for me too.....TCB

  • que daria por ver este video y todo lo que hizo en 1969

  • is the end on frkn loop???

  • @lisasboogies nope !

  • Amazing ~!

This version is better than the official release of the Las Vegas, August 12, 1970, recording.

  • There is a live video on YouTube of a very similar performance unless they've taken it down - Elvis clowns with one of the backup singers - very touching video. One thing I always liked about this song is that the drummer gets to play every lick he knows in the seemingly interminable fadeout! What joy!

  • Well you can blame Col.Parker for not hiring a professional camera crew filming this historic engagement .

  • The Bass player is the legendary Jerry Scheff.

  • Have got this version on a live

Have got this version on an Elvis live CD. Pity there isnt a live video version as he only brought this song out I think just a few months earlier.

  • I love you

  • its all good even the twangy telecaster sound of the electric not to forget the soul sisters on back up

  • exactly 42 years old...

  • great hearing this other than from the 1070 film...thanks so much.

  • This song must be always a top 100 Rock song. Truly amazing: bass, vocals, chorus, everything is a perfect sound experience.

  • Those drums, and that pumping bass that seems to function as the heartbeat.. the whole setting, just going over and over again. Its madness. And I love it. What a song. This, folks, is art.

  • KING!

  • My favorite elvis song. Still so great.

  • this version released on record Elvis live at the international hotel

  • Elvis vocals jerry scheff on bass ronnie on drums,Heaven....

  • The team of Burton, Wilkinson, Tutt, Scheff and Moberac at the time, were the driving force behind the music in 1969. This is a rare gem. Thanks to whomever uploaded this version. Was this taken from Live @ the International Hotel LP?

  • There is nobody that sounds like Elvis Presley

  • @katdaddy511 Well the impersonators try to but nobody can imitate the 50s Elvis cuz that was the pure undulterated Elvis Presley! ;)

  • OMG...and just to think...he was a twin-(blushin') So very hot! Thanks for sharing! Such a handsome man with a deep voice where you can feel the passion. Pic at 1:29.....thanks :)

  • This version is excellent, I prefer it to the studio single. Is this recording on an album by chance?

  • elvis was way ahead of his time!!!!!

  • Yes, there is a video of this 1969 performance!

  • listen to that effin' bass player. my GOD!

  • @artfromtex The Bass Player is Jerry Scheff . Isn't he WONDERFUL. Drummer's not too bad either !!!!.

This is the best version of this song.

  • @Iancrockert Not too baaad?????Hmmmm......In my opinion the drummer is fantastic, awesome, wonderful!!!And he IS!!!

  • @artfromtex Truly amazing. I believe his name is jerry scheff. Can't remember.

  • @artfromtex : No offense to Elvis but baby, It's ALLLLLLLL about the bass player on this cut!!!

  • Respond to this video...My #1 lALL TIME FAVORITE LIVE ELVIS SONG....(PERIOD)!!! The bass player and the drummer SERIOUSLY "get gone" at the end of this song, boy!!!!! A chill ran all the way down my back and straight thru my toes when I saw this....and that was just from reading the the video description!

  • @artfromtex If anyone out there can identify who is playing bass on this cut please post! Artfromtex is right, this is brilliant!

Also this is a good cut of Elvis doing one of his best late numbers. The greatness of this song is borne out by the innumerable covers it has generated, decade after decade, after the King laid it down for us.

  • @lebarosky More than likely Jerry Scheff is playing bass here.

  • @dutchgoing Thanks. Didn't know about Mr. Scheff. I appreciate it.

  • @artfromtex you are right my friend, jerry`s bass is outstanding

  • @artfromtex his name's jerry shift

  • one and only version of suspicius minds for me, to bad that there is no original video of live performance

  • @Jewinho Yeah,that`s true!!!

  • Astounding pictures annie.Many thanks.

  • THE GREATEST SONG EVER!!

This is my favorite Suspicous minds Ever!!
