the looking where you want to go, i learnt that on a defensive driving course it works real well,  eg. 50m space TREE 50m space yet ppl look at the tree because they dont want to hit it but they do cause you inadvertantly drive towards the direction your looking.

I never hit that curbing though because like you said, it'll unsettle the car.

Unfortunately, the shaking is probably due to the track. It is probably one of the roughest tracks in the world but at least it's local.

I've done the same thing. It takes composure to get yourself out of that because FWD cars can break loose quickly. But they are also easy to recover with a little practice because you can "point and shoot" the front end.

That was oversteer, that went into a slide that flat spotted your tires. It wasnt a controlled drift. The car didnt squarely go through the corner with extra power.  It was an accident that you think was cool. it was actually pretty ugly.

The car did go through the corner with power.. add power to pull out of the slide.

There was no 'oversteer control' at all, unless instinctual "oh sh*t!" opposite lock and panic counts.

Maybe your ego will be kept in check the next time you "oversteer control" your car into the wall.

All he meant was that he got into oversteer and saved it pretty nicely in my opion. He never said it was intentional and not an accident.
