I think having a bit of musical background helps one to enjoy music like this.....I was in the band in high school and college and even though I was a very minor talent it gave me just enough background to appreciate great classical music and great performances.

I've seen 2 sides of Italy. The North around Aviano and Pordenoni in the Alps is friendly and beautiful. The areas around Rome (withing a 30 mile radius) could be as they have beautiful architecture. But the people seem to treat the whole place like a garbage dump. Graffiti everywhere, garbage everywhere, and rude people. I like the North of the country much better. I had a blast up North.
