  • its is man move herre~!!!

  • Aussie,Aussie,Aussie oy oy oy. Go Melbourne

  • Prostitution is legal in Melbourne. It is very common to see huge billboards advertising that a certain brothel has new girls for your pleasure, the sex shops are more numerous than convenience stores. Public transport is something out of the third world- very dirty, slow, unreliable, dangerous but also really expensive. And to top it off the suburbs are unbelievably ugly- a sea of run down, dirty, ugly brown brick homes. There is no neighborhood pride, graffiti and vandalism rampant, ugh

  • @Max5941 you are beyond ridiculous. melbourne has been voted in the top 3 most livable cities on earth for the past decade (by a credible international organization), and the most livable city for 2011. I'm inclined to go with their judgment as opposed to yours. Where are all these sex shops you mention? do tell- i need a new toy. and 3rd world public transport? have you actually been to the third world? have you been anywhere?enlighten me. what gleaming, flawless city of gold do you hail from?

  • @deleteurcookies LOL that video is supposed to promote Frankston? How pathetic!!! It's 5 minutes of water and sand but I guess that's the best thing about Frankston. Wouldn't want to show the dilapidated neighborhoods. As for that list of most liveable cities, if you read the fine print it says the difference between the top 70 cities is insignificant.

  • @Max5941 the video shows a side of frankston that uve conveniently chosen to ignore- the vast stretch of housing along the beach. as i said, all big cities have their share of mundane suburbs. you've simply plucked a predictable list of working class areas out of the book & are using this to promote melbourne in its entirety as 'ugly'. no NORMAL person jumps online & slags off a city of 4 million for no aparent reason. wots ur real issue? u still havent told me where ur from or where u've been..

  • @Max5941 oh and i have read the fine print. it reveals that melbourne has beaten every other major city globally, in a lengthy list of criteria including access to public transport and services, affordability, quality of life, environment and recreation etc etc. t The list goes on. The fact that the final score is marginal is irrelevant. The study proves that your perception of melbourne is garbage and is so obviously fueled by a something personal. So whats your idea of the ideal city?

  • @deleteurcookies WTF? I live in Melbourne and I have been all over America and Canada and parts of Europe. Like I said, anywhere outside the CBD in Melbourne is a hole compared to most North American cities. There just does not exist the same pride of neighborhood that generally exists in North America, homes and businesses are not nearly as well kept.

  • @Max5941 Every U.S. & euro city has an ocean of grimey suburbs. Been 2 New York? L.A? Detroit? Miami? Vancouver? I could go on & on. U think Melbourne has graffiti & prostitution issues? Laughable! I bet ur experience of the cities u've supposedly visited doesnt extend beyond their 'pretty' city limits. Try outer london, Liverpool, Birmingham & u'll see wot true urban decay is all about. Oh & my sister used to park her car on her lawn in cleveland every day. it was the done thing. ur a moron.

  • @Max5941 and if u do actually live in melbourne with its 'shocking' levels of graffiti, its lack of 'neighbourhood pride' and its 'unkempt businesses', perhaps you should go and LOL and WTF elsewhere. i just cant think of any other city that may live up to ur standards...

  • @Max5941 why do u know so much about the rough, working class suburbs of melbourne but so little about the leafy, affluent middle and upper middle class regions of the city? got a few issues to sort out? perhaps a bit of social climbing will make u feel better?

  • lol @ all the insecure, jealous non Australians blabbering out their angered negative trash due to the inability to accept that you were born and raised in far inferior environments (including 95% of the US, which has *NOTHING* on Australian cities, especially Melbourne.

Learn to accept and suck it up sour mouthed fools - the sooner you do, the better it is for your health. All that rage and anger won't do you any favours :)

  • Melbourne the most beautiful city in the world : SAYS WHO?

  • Oh and the Prime Minister of Australia is an unwed, childless, atheist living with her hairdresser boyfriend. Enough said.

  • @Max5941 I dont know why you brought the Prime Minister of Australia up while clearly the 2 things are not related, that sound a little petty if you asked me.

  • @Max5941 Pretty stupid logic there. Apparently you need to be married, have children and be religious to run a country. If we're judging leaders of a country by those qualities, then I guess it's fair to say because of having rulers that have children, being married and being christian, is why the USA is in such decline.

  • Prostitution is legal in Melbourne. There are dozens and dozens of whorehouses in the city, many of them located right in suburban neighborhoods complete with huge billboards on the highway advertising that the local brothel has all new girls for your pleasure. Also people park their cars on their front yards and you will often see people out shopping in the supermarket without shoes!!! Is this a white trash city or what?

  • @Max5941 Whats ur issue with legal brothels? u'd rather prostitutes subject themselves to the danger of working the streets as they do in so many other large cities? And you have a problem with people parking cars in their front yards? gold. I don't know which neighbourhoods you've been thru (probably the ones where your extended family live) but clearly you havent experienced melbourne at all. Melbourne is undeniably cool. Your limited expereince of the city speaks volumes about who you are.

  • @deleteurcookies Bentleigh, chelsea, frankston, okaleigh, berwick, collingwood, malvern, the list goes on and they are all really ugly, dreary and monotonous. Badly kept homes and businesses, a sea of concrete and brick. Cars parked everywhere. Graffiti and vandalism rampant.

  • @Max5941 um ok. you've mentioned a couple of working class suburbs that may be considered a tad bland. but doesnt every large city on earth have its share of working class suburbs? u been overseas? if so, where?dunno how malvern makes your list though. leafy, middle class suburb jammed with ornate edwardian terraces. great cafes, bars and shops. actually, im doubting you've actually spent real time in melbourne at all. and where are you from sugar? can hardly wait to hear...

  • @Max5941 for the record- this is a slice of 'ugly, dreary. monotonous' frankston (that you mention above). i think if you knew the area, you'd realise that parts of the suburb are in contrast to your ignorant understanding of it:

    youtube.com/watch?v=gFUKfzsKOaA

  • Melbourne is such a hole. My God do people in that city have no pride? Ride any of the disgusting, slow and dangerous trains from the suburbs into the city and it will make you sick. The endless graffiti, litter and vandalism is repulsive. The neighborhoods are a dreary, extremely run down and really ugly. Keeping a nice yard and neighborhood is obviously not a priority in this city. No pride!!! The ONLY good part of Melbourne is the CBD- DO NOT leave the cbd!

  • BATMAN PARK?!?!!

  • This city surpasses all other australian cities when it comes to boredom and utter nothingness to do. After a couple of days, you'll feel very homesick. It is not easy to keep a city of a few million boring. But this city has managed to make something impossible, a reality. It does deserve some kind of acknowledgement and reward. Brisbane is the other wonder of boredom.

  • @parsibaboon "After a couple of days, you'll feel very homesick."

I'm sure Ahmadinejad will welcome you and your utterly despised kind back to your Third World shithole ancestral homeland with open arms.

It amazes me that despite your constant battle with your social anxiety mental disorder and running your multi-billion dollar global business empire you still have time to share your considered thoughts about the deficiencies of Australia on YouTube.

Is it hard to type wearing a strait-niqab?

  • @parsizaban as i mentioned to some other lonely pikey, your limted experience of melbourne, and your desperate criticism of the city says more about who you are than anything. if you had an inch of cool about you, you'd know where to look for a good time. i live abroad but crave melbourne constantly. the food is exceptional (the variety jaw dropping), the clubbing brilliant, the shopping as good as it gets, and the city has enough international arts and sporting events to see you thru the year.

  • Australians park their cars on their front grass just like the Mexicans do in the impoverished neighborhoods of south central LA. In fact most neighborhoods of melbourne look very similiar to the impoverished Mexican areas of LA- dreary red brick homes, laundry hanging up outside, graffiti, litter, vandalism everywhere and cars parked on people's front yards. At least poor Mexicans have an excuse. What excuse do Aussies have for such ugly neighborhoods?

  • Thank you for your honesty ......MAX5941

  • I guess you put some food dye in the Yarra before you filmed it--

  • it has a muddy river that runs thru it and web like cables blanket the city {for the trams}

thats what my thoughts were when i visited a few years back!

  • there was a time whan they did not allow blacks of any shade to enter Austrailia.....there reason was simple..they did not want another America with racial unrest to happen there........................that was their reason for this..Melbourne looks like any U.S city..most Aussie cities are clones to American cities..(Skiscrapers)

  • @pentogram23 Melbourne's skyline may look like an American city but that's about it. No American city has neighborhoods that are as remotely ugly as Melbourne's. There are run down areas of any American city but no American city is as consistently ugly all over as Melbourne is. The ONLY good part of Melbourne is the CBD. The rest is a filthy hole

  • @Max5941 The rest of Melbourne is an ugly hole? Where are you from? Most Melbourne's subrubs are beautiful. Hawthorn, South Melbourne, Prahran, Glenferrie road in Malvern. The Mornington Peninsula. Yes there are a few suburbs that have a bad reputation like Broadmeadows and Footscray but doesn't every city? You're obviously a hater from Perth who couldn't get a job in Melbourne because you have no education haha.

  • @Max5941 god you're a butt hole. where exactly have you been globally? ever been to london, madrid, paris, new york, los angeles, detroit, chicago, pittsburg, washington, miami, and just about any other european/ american , asian or sth american city? EVERY city has its 'ugly' working class neighbourhoods. its the combination of the good and bad that makes an urban centre, a CITY. when in melbourne, did u visit st kilda, fitzroy, carlton, sth yarra, prahran, toorak, camberwell, kew, brighton..?

  • there was a time whan they did not allow blacks of any shade to enter Austrailia.....there reason was simple..they did not want another America with racial unrest to happen there........................that was their reason for this..

  • If people in USA like to Judge. Judge Yourselves first as You do & Keep Us Auzzies alone with your Negative Comments

  • hmmm, I have lived in melbourne and London and i have seen more racism is London then I ever did in melbourne. I can't speak for the rest of the country, but Melbourne is a very multicultural city. I have been to Paris, the french are mostly rude.

  • ???? Have you ever been in Paris or New York?

Is there something interesting in your video??? LOL

  • Wait this isnt Australia is it? where are the racists?

  • @IndicRace your view of Australia is so twisted by the media....

  • @crowie94 Sadly, its not. It comes of, but real experience. Aus has a higher proportion of racists than any other nation. White Australia policy is fresh in history, its smthng you cannot wish away and yes Aus does have its share of nice ppl but they are too few and scattered across to make a differnece.

  • @IndicRace How can you say that have you lived in every nation and experienced it yourself? I live in Aus not to far from Melbourne and I have friends who have been born in countries around the world and racism isn't tolerated in my community. The White Australia was dismantled in the 50's and finally in the 70's in which time Australia has transformed itself into one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world. Are you going to accuse all Germans of being Nazi's because of their history?

  • @crowie94 I can understand ur love 4 ur nation. Aus by far is the most racist, yes, racists exist in all nations including India, but by far Aus r the most racist! there is no denying it and am sure it hurts u just as it hurts me that India still has lots of poverty, there is no denying this as well. I dont see Aus coming out and apologizing as did the Germans. That can be forgiven but recent racist assaults on Indians followed up by denials of them being racist dint go down well with Indians.

  • @IndicRace I still hear no proof for Aus most racist status, only accusations? The WhiteAus policy was a discriminatory emigration policy which makes it hard to apologise to groups of people for it, however modern Australian gov have apologised to Indigenous Australians for the StolenGens Policies. The assaults on Indian students were unfortunate but in a city the size of Melb assaults happen and investigations found out of the handful of assaults few were racially motivated.

  • @crowie94 White Australia policy was a official govt policy, its just as shocking as the apartheid. And it was in existence just a few decades back. Why hasnt Aussie govt apologized yet? What is so hard to apologize in it? Say sorry and move on. And there were contradictory statements by the Aussie authorities, police and govt included on the nature of the attacks on India. Some are plan obvious racist with no other motive. Why is it so hard to accept there exists a problem? Now thats racist!

  • @IndicRace The W.AusPolicy was a discriminatory emigration policy which tried to keep non-Euros from settling in Aus by requiring them to speak a Euro language (the loop-hole was the Euro language wasn't specified)& although it's a terrible mark on Aus history, to compare it to Apartheid, a domestic-social policy which established and maintained a racist class system, is ridiculous. You'll be happy to know discussion of an apology for the W.AusPolicy was suggested earlier this year in the media.

  • @crowie94 W.Aus policy was worse than apartheid, native kids were close to kidnapped and brought up in a western environment to "civilize" them. Apartheid is a definite analogue. Even worse than apartheid were the stolen generations which happened as recently as 1969. In 1996 Pauline Hanson demanded a return to the white australia policy. Secretly, I am sure, a lot of folks in Australia want a return to the w.aus policy my friend.

  • @IndicRace The forced removal of Indigenous children from their families was the Stolen Gen which as you pointed out ended in 1969. The WhiteAus Policy was an Emigration Policy & was dismantled from 1949-1973. P.Hanson is considered by the majority of Aussies as a red neck extremist & she is often mocked for her views in the media. She recently lost a campaign for a seat in the NSW Parliament. I can guarantee as I live in Aus most folks would never want a return to the W.Aus policy, my friend.

  • @crowie94 with stolen generation and w.aus policy I can rest my case. See thats what is different abt Aus, u have politicians openly calling for white domination, thats inherently racist and reflects the nations character.

  • @IndicRace Your talking about policies which haven't existed for over 40-50 years and are totally irrelevant to modern Aus whilst trying to define it? If anything I think it shows that you have no case and this is just some rant you like to go off on in the comments of YouTube videos? And once again there are no Australian politicians in 2011 Aus calling for 'white domination', nor would their views be tolerated by the Australian public, nor would their racial hatred views be tolerated by law.

  • @crowie94 u cannot just dismiss away the past, its wrong. No one wud be complaining if Aus govt had completely apologized for all wrong and had a strict policy against racial attacks. The recent attacks against Indians havent helped at all and the official denial looked so childish and everyone knew the Aussies were lying. No one today goes behind South Africa or Germany bcoz they realized the mistake of their ways, officially declared it and moved on. Aus is stuck in the past!

  • @IndicRace As I said no one has dismissed it here in Aus, in 2008 an apology for the StolenGen happened, in 2009 the gov apologised for Aus part in the British program of sending orphans to other countries were they became wards of the state, & it has been suggested that an apology be issued for the WhiteAus policy. Further more every child who passes through the modern Aus education system learns at all levels of the injustices these policies created & the destruction and hurt they caused.

  • @crowie94 its nt abt others, its abt u, u dismissed it saying it happened in the past and doesnt matter nw. All I see are suggestions for apologies, no real ones. Rudd apologized to aborogines and thats that. What abt the other racist attacks on immigrants et al? Whilst Indians can readily accept that there is a problem of poverty and casteism in India why dont Aussies accept there is a racist problem? For crying out aloud there r racists commercials out there on aus tv all the time!

  • @IndicRace I never dismissed Aus responsibility for the past? I merely said comparing the Emigration Policies to Apartheid was wrong. And out of the last 3 of the apologies I mentioned 2 of them have already happened! Australians do accept the problems of the past that scar our present, we teach our children in schools it was wrong, we have annual national days- Sorry Day, and the Close The Gap campaign, ect. I find it hard to imagine there are racist commercials considering it would be illegal.

  • @crowie94 Well the one apology to abogirinals was widely opposed by many politicians including one then incumbent president Howard. There was no support across the board. It shows deep entrenched racism and yes stolen generation and w.aus policy are perfect analogues to apartheid, there is no denying it. Yes many aus recognize the problems of the past but many are still racist and consider that no apology is due. read MANY. thats the problem there r MANY people still racist out there.

  • @crowie94 Oh please there are tonnes of aussie ads out there with subtle racist overtones. Please take a look and dont act so surprised, I am sure you know better than others when it comes to this.

  • @IndicRace Excuse me? Find an Australian ad for me with a racist overtone and then I'll agree with you. In Australia it is illegal to discriminate on the basis on things like race, gender, sexual orientation, ect. Race is covered by the Racial Discrimination Act. I doubt there is an Australian ad with a racist overtone as what brand would want to associate itself with that image and then offend potential customer?

  • @crowie94 Well since you act so surprised try searching for "australian racist ad" in youtube and check out the KFC and other such ads. Its not me buddy, its also the United Nations Human Rights commission which has declared the aussie govt racist in dealing with some of its minorities. Do you dispute that?

  • @IndicRace When it comes to the KFC ad you mentioned that ad was labled racist by Americans because in the US there is a stereotype about people of African heritage really liking chicken or something? a stereotype most Aus were unaware of until the controversy. The ad aired at a time when Aus was playing the West Indies in cricket. And the UNHRC said that in relation to the governments proposal to send refugees to Malaysia in a swap for their refugees-its been heavily debated here.

  • @crowie94 oh there are other ads as well. Check them all out. Still, that many of us see the ad as having a subtle overtone of racism does suggest something wrong eh? What you are engaging in is plausible deniability, clearly the ad had somehting to it but can be outright denied. Oh BTW, when even the UN says Aus govt is racist something is deeply wrong. Or do you deny the UN tag as well? It seems everything I raise as points is debated or nt mainstream opinion! Sorry bro, smthng wrong.

  • @IndicRace What are the other ads? I'm sorry but trying to apply a N.American stereotype about African Americans to Aus society is unfair. And I think their is something wrong with it as well but I wouldn't say it gives you right to label all or even the majority of Aus racist. The issue of refugees coming by boat to Aus has been meet with heated debate in recent years & many Aus are concerned with the deal in question with Malaysia to swap refugees because of their reputation of refugee abuse.

  • @crowie94 Plz pray tell me where I have said that majority or all of aussies are racist. Now u r putting words into my mouth and its a cheap diversionary tactic, if you ask me. I only said higher share of racists.oh and plz am sure u saw the racist ads apart from KFC, u just dont want to accept it, the dairy farmers and the Japanese whaling ads are outright racist. So much so for stereotypes. when the UN speaks, everyone listens and when US says Australian govt is racist, its OFFICIAL.

  • @IndicRace every western society spawns right winged politicians who promote anti-immigration policy. look at whats happening around europe. furthemore, i resent your so-called 'informed' critique of australian social policy. bit rich coming from an indian national- a country which is desperate to project itself as a modern, 'superpower' and yet retains the hideously devisive and discriminatory caste system. thats right, you have your very own apartheid crippling the working classes as we speak

  • @IndicRace oh ok. So you lived thru both era's? the white australia policy, as racist and devisive as it was, prevented people from certain parts of the world from entering a new country. apartheid on the other hand prevented people from accessing areas, services and facilities in their own home cities. explain to me (with a level of knowledge & intelligence, & not simply what you wish to believe) how exactly apartheid (which was abolished only recently) is a lesser evil than the WAP?

  • @IndicRace At the end of the day my friends here in Aus who's heritages ranges from Indian, to Chinese-Malaysian, to Swedish, to Lao, to Macedonian, to Irish, and English, don't find Aus to be a country that as you would describe it seems to be over-run by racists. I'm not saying that Aus is perfect or that there are no racists here, but to try and say that Aus has some kind of disproportional level of racists compared to other Western and indeed all countries is just unfair and false.

  • @crowie94 in my years in the US I never could see hw fair the states was in dealing with India on trade issues. I was just over-awed by some of the good things in the US and was blinded to everything else. Now when I am back in India I realize how unfair some of the restrictive trade practices are. To each man, his perspective.

  • @IndicRace tidy up the staggering number of social issues in your own back yard (ie the caste system, sexist laws and attitudes, civil disputes, corruption and the racist attitudes of the exterme right wing political party shiv sena, before you leap onto youtube and rant about so-called racist australians. you know nothing about australian social policy or of the general attitudes of the australian community. shame on u

  • @IndicRace listen to u passing yourself off as some kind of expert. oz has a higher proportion of racists than any other nation? what documentation do you have to confirm this? quit your outrageous generalizations and stop sounding like an insecure, uneducated fool. australian society has a 45% migrant makeup. thats right- nearly half the population come from a myriad of nations abroad. and in stark contrast to other countries (ie india), they live in peace and harmony, and absolute tolerance.

  • well u guys must nt have been to sydney or brisbane, adelaid, perth, newcastle tasmania

  • Melbourne, Australia sucks!!!!

  • meh, forget melbourne; I want to live in a beige limestone house, with orange clay tiles for the roof, and a balcony ontop overgrown by ivy and grape vines; this house would probably be somewhere in the hills surrounding monte carlo, and you would have to take a long winding road to get up to the driveway. there would be a convinience store run by a friendly fellow everyone knows further down the hill, and thats where i would hang out with my friends eating popsicles on hot summer days :)

  • Melbourne looks nice, but I couldn't hear a damn thing because of the wind.

  • Melbourne outside of the CBD is a total cesspool. What horribly ugly, dreary, cookie cutter neighborhoods. Just an endless sea of really badly kept, ugly red brick homes, brown yards and shitty little hole in the wall businesses. People even park their cars on the front grass if you can believe it!! Litter and graffiti and vandalism are EVERYWHERE. The trains are straight out of the third world- dirty, slow, expensive, rife with crime. It's hard to describe just how ugly the neighborhoods are.

  • @harmony224

Having lived in Melbourne outside of the CBD my entire life I can say that while there is some truth to it, there is a lot of exageration too, Never once have I had trouble on the trains and only once have I seen a crime on them.

The 'brown yards' is largely due to drought, and if you're just seeing 'badly kept, ugly red brick homes' then you're obviously not looking at some of the nicer areas of town. Litter and Graffiti are a problem (somewhat true of MANY places in Australia)

  • @harmony224 you obviously don't know much about train conditions in the third world if you think Melbourne's trains even come close to comparing....

  • @harmony224 Melbourne has 3 modes of major public transport. Third world quality? I've never seen a Tram in Zimbabwi. Your VISA was probably rejected and you had no job opp here because you probably had a shit education. Don't start making up bullshit either. Have you seen the trains in the USA and you think we have bad graffiti and vandalism. Melbourne is one of the nicest cities in the world. It's been given the title of Most Liveable city in the world. So get your facts straight.

  • hmm this vid makes melb look bad! Im from sydney! i own a house in melbourne so i tend to visit ALOT! melb is stunning! i love it....

  • Was this filmed with a potato?

  • Melbourne is soooo full of hicks

  • @Max5941 do you know melbourne well?

  • What a dirty city. Litter and graffiti and vandalism are rampant in this ugly city. The suburbs are sooooo dreary, nobody takes care of their homes and yards, public transport is third world at best. Anti social behaviour is everywhere.

  • @Max5941 Your hating my city? we are the sporting capital of the WORLD, melbourne is famous for its, food, art and street art, poeple from all around the world come just so see our steets and lifestyle, are you hating on that?

  • Yes, You right! Spanish and Portuguese are slavers. But DON''T COPY IT.

Copy France, the civilized world if you Anglo-Celt world need to copy any civilization PLEASE. Also, DON7T COPY ANY DUTCH THINGS! They are nothing more than Spanish and Portuguese, the slavers. IF NZ follow that, then we could make a better world.

  • Australians don't like brown or black people. They have learnt to tolerate those of Chinese descent as the country is getting rich on the back of Chinese demand for commodities. Clearly the Chinese don't like Indians either so this doesn't help --- vis a vis the China/ India/ Tibet disputes that continue. For me, USA is the most innovative, progressive and forward thinking nation on the earth with a mixed race president that is the most powerful man on the planet.

  • @omelomumbaroad We don't like fake indian students who whinge a lot when they come here with out enough money/job skills..if that's what you mean by "brown" people. As for chinese people ..the recent chinese migrants aren't that well liked because of their poor manners.

  • @omelomumbaroad How come you know so much about Australia? I live in Australia but envy you for living in the US. Life is dull in Australia. Also lots of racism and hate against the brown let alone the blacks.

  • @omelomumbaroad I have been to Australia -- all over in fact -- and it is indeed a beautiful country geographically speaking. Unfortunately its inhabitants are massively insecure about themselves and they are only good at selling off its natural assets. The demand for mining products from China will dry out and then it will be left with nothing but empty mines and the currency will weaken. Everything of quality, ie German cars, electronics has to be imported and is very expensive. Not my cuppa!

  • @omelomumbaroad hell no

  • @omelomumbaroad im pretty sure every country has rasists, sexists, homophobes... i know alot of "brown or black" people and they are lovely and i love being around them...

  • Be it Melbourne, Sydney, Perth or Adelaide, I tell you guys whingy little girls this, I, as a South East Asian student who has been in Australia for 5 years, have never encountered any form of racism even in clubs, pubs and all sorts of places. And the rule is very simple, if you guys don't like it, then fuck off and shut the fuck up rather than staying here, mooching things off and building your own life while complaining about the city you live in.

  • I'm aware of the alleged racial discrimination against Indian students, but serve their rights! When you're in a foreign land, respect the host country's values!!! That's all!

  • @Meosaigon the english didnt do that when they invaded australia.

  • @findingtakara Sorry but it sounds like you misinterpreted historical fact. They "invaded" Australia? With what? The British Army?! What they did was simply coming here and claiming Australia as a part of their sovereign territory ("terra nullius" it's called). It's like going to a land where no one lives and proclaim it your territory. I am fully aware of the Aboriginals presence back then and all the horrendous deeds that were done to them. But it's part of the course isn't it?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • australians don't like anyone who is not Ayran race

  • @BtadyDavies you do know non-aryans live in australia... and are australian

  • Australia is like China.

  • hardly the most beautiful!

  • There are so many drug addicts in Melbourne that the buses have blue interior lights to make it harder for the addicts to shoot up.

  • Ethnocentric white supremacist classify as if Melbourne, Vancouver kind of cities good cities, but for the coloreds like us, they are nothing more than risky Nazi cities, the hells that butchered millions of aboriginals and robbed the land.

  • @serbetli100 you can say that about many places, like the united states for example

  • @Chacha5678 Yous claim as many places but actually that kind of behavior is only seen in your Anglo+Celt and Dutch world, not in any other world. For example, French try to assimilate with the natives, not butchering them.

  • @serbetli100 well the Spanish & Portuguese used the natives and blacks as slaves

  • like melbourne is nice and all - but there is no city in the world that can beat the aesthetic beauty of Sydney. Its a fact and its the truth

  • @lifeandlivingness you must be joking... I've spent my time in melbourne and sydney and i can tell you right now melbourne is much better than sydney in every sense...

  • Melbourne also has the absolute WORST, dirtiest, slowest, most expensive, most dangerous public transport anywhere. Take any of the trains into or out of the city and you will be repulsed by the quality of the people who ride the train, repulsed by the condition of the trains, and repulsed by the view of the rotten dreary neighborhoods

  • @harmony224 lol, m8. No other city in australia has better PT than melbourne. You must have been living on one of the shithouse train lines. Shows a lot about you... Melbourne isn't perfect, no city is

  • Melbourne has the worst weather on earth!! The wind NEVER stops blowing. 40 degrees in the afternoon and 18 by the evening. It's is VERY rare to experience a comfortable weather day in this city.

  • @harmony224 mate if you dont like it..................FUCK OFF and/or dont come back..........simple as that mate, as far as i know melbournes suburbs are some of the cleanest in the world, this is from a sydneysider, in ireland there nothin special, is anything, theyre dreary

  • @harmony224 you must of been here in summer, its never like that 24/7, seriously, you are the biggest whinging pom on here, typical git

  • there are a LOT of rednecks in Australia, more than in any other English speaking country. It's even common to see people in the supermarket not wearing any shoes if you can believe it!! And in all the neighborhoods people park their cars on their front yard. Hard to believe but it's true. Australia is a lot like Mexico.

  • This is the ugliest filthy brutal NAZI white supremacist city ever existed in human history Must be nuked and then erased from this planet.

  • @serbetli100 It is an ugly, filthy city. Graffiti and vandalism and litter EVERYWHERE you look. The neighborhoods are brutally ugly, shitty run down horrible brick homes, cars parked on people's yards all over the place. Australians are a lot like lazy mexicans

  • @Max5941 go fuck your self, You have no idea about melbourne!! Melbourne has class you dont

  • @serbetli100 is that a joke? Its the most multicultural city in the world. There is hardly any racism unless you try and impose your own beliefs on people which is what A LOT of indian students tried to do hence they got bashed... Never saw any east asians, africans or Europeans getting bashed for being stupid cunts

  • @makmegs Not any joke. Indeed I never want to step into any kind of ethnocentric white supremacist land like Australia, NZ, USA, Canada. I myself is a jap you detest. Why do I want to step into that offensive land?

  • @makmegs don't worry about this guy, he's been making retarded comments on any video he visits, claiming something completely opposite of what "normal" people would think. i mean, think about it, calling himself jap is already stupid and ignorant enough, offending himself. actually i think it's a she. either way, just don't mind her, she's got nothing to pass her time to enjoy her life except to go online and be a complete lunatic.

  • @Max5941 Sorry but ALL of Australia is one big junkyard.

  • @AmericaRulesCanada Ya I totally agree, Australia is the same wherever you go. It's just a really ugly, dull country no matter where you go

  • @Max5941 True. Theres just nothing to do in Australia. Australias such a cesspool full or retarded inbred rednecks.

  • @Max5941 america is full of filthy rats, over populated, they dont even look after its own people, stinky rat filled New York and fat rednecks who drive massive cars to pull their fat greasy arses around!!

  • @Max5941 next time you go to Melbourne you might want to pull your head out of your ase and have a look around, they houses are not ugly and run down, unless all you could afford to stay at is frankston!! Melbourne is an awesome city!!

  • scores and rankings don't mean shit

  • amazing how people have laid off the stabbings and crime in melbourne after sydney's taste of it in recent times

  • ARE YOU KIDDING? it cold, boring, ugly and full of bogans! so many fights in the city, the cops are piss weak and its very expensive - nicknamed the rip off state.

Awesome food, great people and lot's of things do to and see. It is a beautiful city, but not the worlds most beautiful. Melbourne is 2nd most beautiful, the most beautiful is...Stockholm ;)

  • I want to melbourne D;

  • the second DUBAI

  • Mount Dandenong is the jewel of Melbourne's crown. For more insight...check out "Mount Dandenong - The Musical"

  • @walkabout09 haha the vic state labor government is one of the most successful governments in Australia's history.. Melbourne and Victoria is booming because of their success.

  • If you love graffiti, vandalized property, littered streets, ugly run down suburbs, third world public transport, and drunken violence then you should consider moving to Melbourne

  • @Max5941

Dude! if you want to visit a city 1'000.000 worse, uglier, insecure and complete chaos, you should come to Bogotá, Colombia. Jajajajajajajajaja Max5941 believe , there is no more shity city on earth.

  • All of Australia is great expect Melbourne.

Melbourne has lot drunk teenagers going around bashing people. Melbourne police is useless, they have no clue to control alcohol related violence.

Melbourne can be very dangerous at night. Do not travel on train at night or walk on streets at night In Melbourne.

Sydney, Brisbane,Gold coast, Perth, Adelaide,Hobart, Darwin etc are very friendly and much safer then Melbourne.

  • @edsravi you are obviously from Sydney? The most overrate city in Australia!

Melbourne by far is the best Sydney in Australia, and YOU know that which is why you're on here hating on Melbourne, but, hey we don't care! You're behind us, and no other city stands in front of us to hate.

  • @jjerome77 I do not agree with you :) cause im from sydney and i stayed in Melbourne for 1month..i got attacked 3 times with a bear bottle cause i was tipping a guy for playing the violin and some homless was soo jealous that he decided to attack me. the 2nd time was by a gang of wogs on a train and 3rd was cause i wouldnt give a guy $2 as i had no change on me. and also everytime i would mention im from Sydney and wana move here, they would pick on me so i DONT want to move there anymore! :D

  • to be fair,id be happy to live anywhere in australia, especialy melbourne.i visited in 2006 and fell in love with the place.my hometown in england makes anywhere look like paradise but id be real content in melbourne...

  • Every city has it's positives and negatives; from my experience living in Melbourne, the city definitely has more positives: great sporting events like the tennis, golf and cricket, an array of cafes and restaurants and a fantastic arts scene. Working in Hong Kong before makes me realise just how lucky we are as Aussies to have cities with wide open spaces, lots of parkland and a good work-life balance.

  • To live in Melbourne you need to be a member of an elite clique otherwise you will not be accepted in to its hierarchy of living standards. Oh, and make sure you are a member of The Lounge otherwise you will be exiled.

  • infact hell of a racist town , skinheads everywhere and so so nazi prone ,

they just wouldn't show you what they did to the aborigines people , how they contested to chop off as many aborigines children head as they could whose body were buried alive underneath ground except their heads , and how they enjoyed watching aborigines suffered to death after they took their penis and testicles away by bare hands , and ofcourse they would gang rape a aborigines women and tear her vag into pieces

  • @tasmanfist lol?

  • Batman Park. Go Batman. :P

  • ive been there ahah

  • Lets try to keep Melbourne a leading liveable city.....Make sure you go to Melbourne and visit the CH2 building. CH2 shows us the way ahead for sustainable design. Its time for Melbourne to evolve Lets start building sustainable green precincts in the CH2 style..........now !

  • What a shit video. Oh and Melbourne sucks too.

  • @asteroidphobic

I think you suck bitch along with Sydney the crime capital of Australia!

  • melbourne is a beautiful city, and it always has something going on: aussie open, rugby, football, cricket, comedy festival, music festivals, short film festival - quirky clubs and hidden places to hang out. they alley-ways are awesome!!!

but the violence is pretty bad. its not horrible, but you do occassionally get the drunk wanker wanting a fight. as an 18 yo girl, you learn to hang with your friends, and stay away from the rowdy ones!!!

  • I live in melbourne and i think its a boring city overall i hink Autralia is a boring continent, It is still a baby continent

  • Funny, my Aussie friend from Melbourne calls it a shithole lmao.

  • @chicken8wings its just as shithole as any another city in america

  • @containsmediumpeople

Learn to write, and Melbourne is nothing like any US city loser, maybe you don't know that Sydney has more crime than NY, where Melbourne was rated as the safest city in Australia and one of the safest in the world!

  • @myvistahosting Learn to understand, I live in melbourne and I love it, Infact I was sticking up for it, Melbourne is not the safest in the world, try and tell that to an Indian family.

  • @containsmediumpeople

In your message, it sound like you were saying Melbourne was shit like a US city, my bad. Them Indian Attacked were only a few times, when the media get hold of it, they make it look like it's all that happens! Sydney has much more crime than Melbourne, Sydney has killings, not just attacks, and Kings Cross in Sydney is the worst suburb in Australia for crime.

  • Comment removed

  • @containsmediumpeople And you know something, Air India is going to be flying to and from Melbourne from the end of this year, Air India doesn't fly to any Australian state, and they have picked Melbourne for it's HQ, Melbourne is getting it's first flights.

Correction: not 'anyone' Anyway, sorry if i miss understood your comment at first, i'm just getting sick of people mainly from Sydney bagging at Melbourne, just because they know Melbourne is better.

  • @containsmediumpeople

Also, yes Melbourne is one of the safest cities in the world, ahead of every Australian city including Tasmania, and the US, UK, China etc

  • @myvistahosting You are being ironic about Melbourne being safe right?
