My point of view, is that Dave Grohl doesn't use the very small cymbal in front of you. I've listened to the song many times, but never heard him use it at those points, meaning at 0:49 and 1:51 and 3:49. Also, you've should've used the central drum earlier at 2:52 and at 3:24, and Dave Grohl again does not seem to beat the cymbals after 4:47. But as I said in an earlier comment, your cover is the best I've ever listened to. Keep improving! Thanks for sharing!

If you dont understand what pearldrummer was saying, just try alternating hits with your left and right hands. Practice makes perfect.

for the snare hits at the part you were talking about, you need to first try it with sixteenths notes to get the general beat down, then just try it with eighth notes, doing the hi-hat hits in between the 2 snare hits (It's really hard to explain it over youtube, but if I were there I would demonstrate it) but once you discover how to do it you will immediately get the hang of it.
