It always struck me as odd that Austin was super pissed about Tazz letting Shane get rock-bottomed but he never said a word about RVD just bailing out of the ring and leaving Stephanie by herself.

Because nothing actually happened to stephanie, and besides it helped elevate the angle...everything doesn't have to be so literal you know
