  • Haha, rewind to the 1:31 mark over and over.

  • Who gives a shit about personal issues. Nobody, doesn't matter. What matters is the actual politics.

  • good host

  • He did such a good job with Air America and their low ratings.

  • To troller Jestoninnes...

"Because your average american has shown they have even the slightest clue how to manage thier money. Lol."

Doesn't freedom mean freedom to be an idiot, to ruin your life, to make mistakes and learn from them? By what measure do you decide one incompetent?

Do we actually own ourselves? Or are we slaves to a "benevolent" government?

  • Regarding my private charity remark, they are more efficient than government. Also, charities could be more effective if people had more of their own money to donate. Compare the work of Habitat for Humanity versus government in Katrina affected areas. Americans help people. We would just like more of our money to direct it to those who are truly in need. It's easier to cheat the government than your neighbors.

  • Now we'll see if Franken just tows the line for the party or if he's a real American for freedom and liberty.

  • Democrats who can't see that Obama is the same as bush, but more eloquent and even more of a reckless spender, are in denial.

  • no he is a clown ,

    he hates america

    he hates you all

he just wants to fuck shit up

    what a socio path clown

  • it"s okay to hate social conservitaves but not fiscal conserviatves , I know big business is not sexy but the tycoons and companies make america the economic giant it is.

I hope some Democrats do not vote for the immoral Cap and trade witch will ruin america and down grade it's economy .

  • Why do you think it is ok to hate people just because they have a different opinion? That is just as bad as being a racist/sexist/homophobe. Having a different opinion than yours does not make a person worthy of hatefulness.

  • Ron Paul is a conservative and no one fights for American rights harder. We'll find out if Franken is a socialist tax raiser or a real American in favor or liberty and freedom.

  • ron paul is a greedhead type conservative...'i got mine, to hell with anyone else'

  • "greedhead type conservative"?? what does that mean? that word is new to me

  • greedhead type conservatives practice the deadly sin of avarice (as opposed to xenophobe and religionist type conservatives who practice wrath and pride, respectively).

greedhead type conservatives lack honor, and focus on issues which will benefit themselves, at the detriment of society as a whole. this type is most likely to cheat on his taxes, then blame widows, orphans and cripples for the taxes they were not able to cheat on.

jim hightower is credited w the word

  • People who cheat on their taxes, eh? Geithner, Rangle, Killefer, Daschle...all Democrats.

  • its not an 'all or nothing...'

while each of those (few) democratic individuals may have cheated, none seems to have a belief that widows, orphans and cripples are taking food out of their mouths, or keeping them from enjoying a michael jackson lifestyle

  • Enslaving people by taking money from the pockets of widows, orphans, and cripples while patting yourself on the back does not make you a noble person. Allowing people the freedom to realize their potential should be the goal.

Private charities do a much better job of getting help to the needy. Government does a good job of using taxpayer money to buy more votes and more power for them.

I thought Democrats believed in "Power to the people." Government power enslaves people--widows, et al.

  • if private charities actually do a better job, we would not have needed social security, or medicare.

  • Who says we need them? If you are indeed 51 years old, do you think you are going to "enjoy" the benefits of SS or Medicare? They are intergenerational ponzi schemes where you are drawing upon the labor of younger generations, as older generations drew upon your labor.

I certainly hope you have set aside savings in gold and silver over the years, because neither your social security checks or your 401k is going to be worth a damn once you hit 65.

  • and you think ron paul lacks honor?? interesting. i wonder who in politics you think has honor if ron paul is not one of those people.....

  • ron pauls' credo is 'i got mine, to hell with anyone else' and 'i have much, but want more'

ignoring endemic social problems is not honorable...

  • it is not that he ignores them, he just doesn't think the gov't can fix social problems. you must have faith to think the gov't can fix things. people like me, or ron paul, feel that the gov't can't fix anything. so it is not fiar to say he has no honor just b/c he thinks (which is backed by the results of all previous gov't actions) that the gov't cannot fix something without creating a bigger problem down the road. just b/c you have faith in gov't and he doesn't shouldn't reflect his honor

  • it would be well for you to do a little study on the history of gov't intervention verses no gov't intervention

i would recommend 'a peoples history of the united states' by dr howard zinn

  • i read that book five years ago, i don't see the connection you are trying to make. zinn used his work and the work of prior revisionist like, Harry Barnes, Charles Beard, James Martin. I have read some works from all of the above noted. it doesn't prove or disprove the fact that everything thing the gov't has done to "fix" problems in the last 80 years has ended in more problems. another Columbia University PhD, "33 Questions" by Thomas Woods, is another great one that came out recently

  • And tell me Kenny, what did you do to address "endemic social problems"?

Ron Paul worked as a doctor refusing to accept payment by Medicare or Medicaid, preferring to not charge patients or to work out a cash payment.

That you attribute your "credo" to Paul shows how much of an ignoramus you really are.

  • The government isn't the only institution that can help people, but it is the only institution that can legaly hurt people.

Do you want the same people who kill children in Iraq and Afghanistan to handle your health care, to handle the poor? Because that is what you are saying, and to me, that is sick.

  • @Visfen the folks who kill for the elitist agenda are not the same folks who provide health care here.

  • @kennny732 They are from the same organization, are they not? It's the same people making the decissions.

  • thats competly true. Obama and Bush are identical. U can say they had differences, but personal issues like family values aren't going to make the economy better. Plus no one gives a shit. Ppl who act like gay marriage is the big important issue dont deserve air for their lungs

  • this style of news sickens me. We have punching gloves appearing in the middle of a exchange of information? No wonder the Daily Show is so popular. These ass clowns have no idea how to share information. Talking point spin FTL

  • Schumer a moderate? By whos standards? im in a New Yorker and Schumer is a bigger liberal than the state socialist party.

  • wow... that was really nice!

  • This country needs more libertarians. BADLY.

  • Rand Paul 2010!

  • Is there any limit to taxpayers obligations for the complete incompetence and self-serving performances of the representatives on both sides of the trough?

How do we stop the bleeding?

  • End the Fed or eventually a currency collapse will do it.

  • stop giving blood i guess. i love how he made dans piont for him
