@highsurfhawaii I'm not questioning your skateboard skills, they seem exceptional. I just have an issue with your choice of title claiming "worlds fastest". It's my understanding that when claiming "worlds fastest" one should have some proof. A guy in the video saying 27mph, while you claim 40 in the description just doesn't match up. I also think when claiming the top speed of a "powered" vehicle it should be on level ground.

@joshpit2003 sorry but when my friend says 27mph I was at a level part of the hill and was just entering the steeper part of the hill where I did go between 35 and 40 and i had the remote control pegged all the way and I have also been clocked going much faster than that,this had a custom built electric engine on it,that day I had just got out of the water from surfing and a professional photographer asked me if he could film me shooting that hill,1st time I ever shot it,

@LBKBlueViking I'm still alive and been riding like that for 40 years,after my hobbie skateboard with the clay ball bearing wheeels,then I started making my own boards with caddilac wheels and trucks then they finally came out with bennett trucks in those days no one wore helmets or pads but most people did wear shoes but i could only skate barefooted,aloha

@UDSOUDS He's talking about wheels that were made of a clay like composite material before urethane wheels were made in the early 70's. The bearings back then weren't sealed units like today, they were actual ball bearings you put in one at a time (16 per wheel, 8 each on the inside and outside) and you could see them after installation. They were called "loose ball".

bare foot cruising is awesome, i highly recomend it, (plus its good footwork practice for surfing) i highly recomend it. u can get orange 80mm orangotang wheels and paris trucks with a harder bushing in the back and a softer in the front this alows the board to take on heavy wieghted carves wih unbelivable controll for downhill also i recomend getting abec seven rush berrings hope this set up helps tell me if it does or not!
