We live in a civilization, in a community and around other people. If you're not comfortable with that, don't use bank services, don't go to schools, buy or rent a place. @FreedumbFighter28 when you sign up for a social network such as myspace or facebook, you typed in your own information, and you clicked "agree" with their terms of services, "you" are the one who put your own information out there. If you're uncomfortable with they knowing you then click "disagree" and don't use their services. As simple as that. Same as all other Google products, YouTube, Gmail, Google earth, don't sign up for it if you don't agree with their terms of services.
