  • Hi.OMG that lipstick and lipgloss combo, looks absolutely perfect on you.It blends, and compliments your skintone so well, very nude\natural looking, absolutely love the look.

  • @Electra709 Thank you!

  • Hi! Do you have a foundation routine on here using the stippling brush? I would love to see how you use it as a tutorial.

  • lady i love you for showing good useful brushes you found at walmart. im going to try to find them next time im there.

  • @leighannsays I love the Walmart HD brushes-they are amazing!

  • I did the double wear with the sheer glow as you mentioned here and I LOVE it!!!!! Thanks ;-))

  • @janmia73 Yay!!

  • i like the longer videos!!

  • Hi Marnie, Can you do a video on your most favorite foundations?

  • @TheHealingBeauty The only one that would make the list consistently is Estee Lauder Double Wear.

  • can you please please please do an updated makeup video ps you look very pretty in this video not like you dont in your other ones just very glowy lol in this one take care!

  • My 55 brush hasn't seen any love since I bought the Real Techniques brushes. Though I do feel I got my money's worth out of it for the six months (?) I used it. lol

  • @ChristasWorld LOVE those brushes!

  • I purchased the same set from walmart a few months ago. I love them.

  • Would love to see a makeup collection video!

  • @cbonfant I'm working on re-organizing the collection. Will film an updated one soon!

  • Great video Marnie! I bought a set of the no name brushes at Walmart that you talked about. All they said on the package was high definition and LOVE them. I even went back a month later and bought a set for my daughter Jessica for her birthday. I've got an EcoTools set from Walmart too that I LOVE, they are so soft and dense! I also have a flat top kabuki from Physicians Formula, it has a blue metallic base and its amazing. Thanks for sharing your favs with us!

    Peg~

  • you look very cute in this video. I think it's the make-up, hair and earrings combo.

  • @itzamarie14 It was a good hair day.

  • Love your look in this video.

  • Can't remember how I found your videos (other than trying to find someone with similarly super-fair skin, who isn't 20), but I have been catching up over the last few weeks and I love them all -- short and long! Anyway, mostly now I just want to say that you're the one who made me stop walking by the elf brushes at Target. So, thanks!

  • @movingbook You are welcome!!! Now, go buy some more brushes (they're only $1)! ;)

  • off topic: could not help but stare at your nails throughout this whole video! I love the color, and I really love the color on you!

  • @katiethegreater Thanks! It was a gift from Steph, a German viewer who was visiting San Antonio. I got to meet her last week!

  • @MsGoldgirl that is so cool and sweet! :)

  • I have the angled powder brush....I did get mine in a set. It was called a HD Set. It had 4 brushes: foundation, concealer, angled blush and a small powder brush. I think it was $14.99 for the set.

  • this was great marnie. i was shocked when i saw the price of the airbrush 55. i am so happy with my studio brushes. of course i'm always checking out other brushes because they are fun to collect but i would never pay over $10 for a brush. as long as it feels nice and it works that's all i need. thanks for sharing. hope things are cooling of a bit for you. take care.

  • @northnailnut 93 degrees today! Felt like autumn had finally arrived! ;)

  • love your reviews :-)

  • hun take that brush bk and get store credit or something or at the very least glue it bk on lol love ur videos....:)

  • @taytay2befit I need to take it back-I got it in San Francisco in December and I think it broke in January. So sad. :(

  • Between my Sigma, Coastal Scents & NYX brushes, ELF's complexion brush and my index finger are what I use the most

  • "This seems like a lot of layers" Haha! Girl, I'm right with ya on that. It's like I just can't get my face perfect, and I'm just packing on something else. What's up with that? LOL And I'm with sharisp2 (below me)- that the Ecotools brushes are really nice. And I do love that retractable kabuki brush from them. It's got a silver casing and it's dense and oh so soft. Betcha you would like it :) Found it at Ulta... now waiting on your eye brush vid! OOXX

  • Some great brushes here Marnie! Another collection of brushes that are great for face and eyes are the Eco-Tools, every try those? I swear those are some of the softest bristles I have ever used, and I love the retractable kabuki brush and the bronzer brush is awesome too! I can't wait until we get Target here in Canada and I can finally get my hands on those Real Techniques brushes! :)

  • @sharisp2 I have some of those, too! Wait for the next video...

  • I agree with you about the Sephora brush. I bought that on to use with the Nars foundation and found it a little difficult. I don't care for the skinny handle and mine was loose from day one. It hasn't come apart, but it isn't very secure. I need to try the Real Tehnique brushes.

  • You said you used a highlighter. What one do you use?

  • @LizKS48 I use Hard Candy Tiki bronzer as a highlighter. It's my all time fave!

  • I like elf brushes, they're inexpensive & work great. What brand was that first bronzer you pulled out?

  • @skullsncrossbonez I think that was a Rimmel bronzer.

  • Since you mention that waltmart angle brush I beeing in a hunt for it but finally found it at a Nevada store and let me tell you I love love it

  • @vivianloarca Yay!!!

  • The Sonia Kashuk brushes are amazing! I may have to go out and get the Real Technique brushes, they look great!

  • you can just super glue the handle back to the Sephora brush right?

  • you can do a giveaway with that sephora brush...or do a swap on MakeUpAlley..

  • OMG! I LOVE the H-E-B brushes! LOL Someone from H-E-B once told me they were made by the POSH brand, which I've heard makes great brushes. ??? You just saved me a ton of $ as I was seriously considering the Sephora brush. I may pick up the Real Techniques stippling brush though. I have their blush brush and love it! :)

  • @ratherbedancing3 Get 'em both! We need to get together soon, now that your little one is in Kindergarten!

  • what kind of concealer do you use

  • @freakyprecious It depends, but lately I've been using Maybelline Super Stay concealer. Some of my other favorites include Inglot, Bobbi Brown, MAC Studio Fix, and the Boots No. 7 concealer stick.

  • What a great video! You just saved me a ton! I've been going back & forth about the sephora brushes, cause as you said they are raved about! But I'm lovin many of my less expensive brushes too & could get many other things besides those to add to my collection! ;)

  • you look so pretty in this video

  • Thanks for the look at your makeup brushes! It's always fun to see what real people use :) What you're doing looks great - your face looks flawless!

  • I have several of the same brushes you have. I love the WalMart brushes as well. I also love my Real Techniques brushes. I want to get some more of them.

I wanted to get the Sephora brush, but now I'm gonna pass. Another example that expensive is not always the best choice.

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing your eye brush faves :)

    ~t

  • I have that contouring brush from walmart -it's so soft, I love it!

  • U did good. Thank you. I appreciate your time and sharing. I also like when you can do short vids not because I don't like them but because I'm also a mom and many times just have a few minutes to see a couple of vids and I tend to look for short ones so that I can watch as many as I want :)

  • I would love to see the 15 Weird Fact tag from you specifically.

I prefer the Sigma one over the MAC 224. I have hooded eyelids so that is probably why.

Those Samantha Chapman brushes look uber soft!

  • I am using the beauty blender for my Estee Lauder DW, but I love the Sephora airbrush for cream blushes. Also I would love to try the Real Techniques stippling brush, but I have never seen them at my Ulta and they are out of stock on the RT website. Bummer. Oh, hot glue will fix that Sephora brush in a jiffy!

  • May I request you to do tag videos?

  • @symmetricalastic Of course!

  • I keep thinking I need that sephora airbrush, now I think I will wait. I also love your long videos too! I'll tell you where to go......go to ulta!!

  • Love this video and your usual video length. Don't change it for a few complaints. :)

  • I love ur longer videos! Love this video and I agree about the Sephora brush for the price I don't know if it's worth it! I love my Mark brushes!

  • If you run your hair dryer over that broken Sephora brush it will heat the glue and you can put it back together. Oxfordjasmine has a video about saving brushes that have broken.

  • I love the Real Techniques stippling brush for putting on cream blush too. Thought I would mention that incase you haven't tried it yet. It works so well.

  • @harkbeauty I've never really tried a cream blush-one of these days...

  • Great video! Love your vids Marnie - dont do shorter vids! :)

  • You're beautiful :) Love your videos, thanks for taking the time to make them!

  • I love when you babble!! hehe!!! I have must of those brushes!! the company that distribute the walmart ones is paris presents. They also do the Eco tool and realtechnlques brushes. I had a sephora brush and the same thing happen. I think you can use Gorilla Glue on it. That will keep it to getter!! LOL!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • Don't have a question or a suggestion, and I certainly don't want to tell you where to go, I just wanted to say thanks for keeping me company while I toiled away on a rather monotonous task. Great video, I love seeing what everyone uses and loves.

  • @juliagoolia72 Glad to help you pass the time! :)

  • Since you already have the #55, try it when you're applying the Nars sheer glow on top of the ELDW it's amazing!

  • @cradhome I was thinking of trying that-thanks for confirming it for me!

  • Thanks so much for another great video. Have been trying to get the RT stippling brush and it's been sold out.

  • I agree to agree! :-)

My Seph #55 went back so fast, I couldn't take a second of it!

Too soft, too fluffy, too pricey!

    Great fav's!

You look great! What an awesome nail polish!

    TY

  • I had the same thing happen to a brush. I just used my pliers and "crimmed" it back onto to handle.

  • i have over $200 worth of the pixwoo brushes I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM- (that and the clarisonic are how i got my free level 6 at ulta) haha you just mention real tech brushes- -they are real artist brushes not brush SNOB brushes- lol- u know what i mean!!-i gave all my walmart brushes to my art students- (i tudor art in my home)- Marni i have a POSH brush i can give you- i bought 2 and only use one- its the one on their web sight for $40.00 send me your info x shelly

  • I use Eco Tools brushes from Walmart. Just a quick quiery, who is it that clicks dislike on videos, does that mean they watch the whole vid and then click the dislike button, what a waste of time!

  • @betterlatethannev100 I know that the minute the video goes live, I get 1-2 instant dislikes. So, if it's a 13 minute video and it's been live for less than 30 seconds, there's no way they are actually watching. It is amazing to me that there are at least 6-7 losers out there that hover by their inbox, waiting for my (and other's) video to go live, just so they can click that "dislike" button. I dislike them! :)

  • Great Information. Love your vids. take care.

  • I use a lot of Sonja Kashik and Walmart brushes and they work great. I had to laugh about your Sephora brush. I bought a pricey brush from Smashbox and it did the same thing. I fixed it with a drop of glue.

  • Ahh I'm addicted to buying brushes! Keep the ideas coming! lol

  • I love your videos just the way they are, don't try to change for anybody!

  • The reason Flirt was at the CCO is because Flirt is owned by Estee Lauder. And CCO's sell Estee Lauder's brands. :)

  • @JessKoeh88 Ah ha! Thanks for clearing that up!

  • I like your longer videos & don't mind you babbling (sp?) at all! :)

  • very useful, thank you ! I just started to build my brush collection from ELF, they are great for the price, and I dont feel so bad for having lots of brushes that are for the same thing....lol...:)

  • No to shorter videos lol

  • @crena23 I think it's physically impossible for me to speak shorter than 13 minutes!

  • Don't worry about the long videos. Keep them coming :)

  • Just saw that mineral brush at my Big Lots for $1.50 and a shadow brush too.

  • You look fantastic! xo

  • LOL! I quickly saw your thumbnail and title, and thought if said "Favorite Blush Faces"!

  • Nice Video. It's great that you do so personal videos for your fans!

  • I love your nails .....so pretty ! I have a few of those brushes too. Thanks for the video. Have a great week.

  • Awww! My 6 year old, Lily, is very sick with a bad cold, and she is sitting here snuggled up to me- she just looked up at the computer screen, and said, "THAT'S a pretty girl!" Miss Lily is very into makeup these days, too!!!

  • @mommafletch Your daughter is a very smart girl. :)

  • Can you do another full face tutorial, with neutral eyes. Another recipe to share?

  • I don't want shorter vids - I love the long ones.

  • Thank you for your review on the sephora air brush, I was thinking about buying it. You can take items back to sephora even if you do not the receipt or packaging, if it had one. I have taken items back without the two and recieved store credit.

  • Marn-you rock the nude lip!!

  • You should have your husband do your makeup tag that emilynoel started! I think that they areso hilarious, and you would make it even more funny! :)

  • @kkoeni113 We were just talking about that today-as of right now he said no way.

  • Lovely video. Will look into the ulta brushes.

  • I Love the real technique brushes by Samantha Chapman, BUT i used the Kabuki brush and its quite small for a Kabuki and It wasn't anything special. The Kabuki brush from ELF which is 5 dollars is WONDERFUL though. Its a perfect size and just works well, where as the real techniques is about 11 dollars or something. Love your videos by the way and can't wait for your favorite eye brush video.

  • great video!!!

  • I love the CCO's!!! Flirt is one of many makeup lines owened by Estee Lauder who also owns the CCO's. Great Video :-)

  • Wait. Shorter videos?

OMG. I'm going to have to learn to drink my coffee faster?

    Nooooooooooooooo!

  • That was very kind of you to include my Sigma link.

(but it's not surprising you'd be so thoughtful)

    Thank you so much.

    :)

    Averill

  • Thanks for another great video. Love brush videos - I'm brush poor :( but love, love getting others opinions (and yes, we all have differing ones) on them, before I make the investment. Your sense of humor and candidness always brighten up my day. Hugs xxxx Eva

  • another good blush brush that has a similar shape to the sonia kashuk. is the blush brush from real techniques

  • I like your long videos ! Well I like all your videos XD

  • I adore my Real Technique Brushes!!!

  • Your video thumbnail is so hilarious, I was wondering if you chose it for kicks, highly doubt it though. Great video Marnie, I was wondering if you would do a video series like thekaitieab does, "monthly goodbuys", products used up in that month and your thoughts on it.

  • @Morganeezy YT randomly chooses a screen shot for the thumbnail. It's so ridiculous that I think I have to keep it! I like the idea of Good-buys, but I rarely use up a product each month!
