Inderdaad met afstand het mooiste concert EVER! En ik heb er heel veel gezien. Ik was 19 en had het gevoel dat het concert nooit mocht ophouden. Heel heftig. Zonder geestverruimende middelen was dit een onwaarschijnlijk gevoel dat later vaker terug kwam bij concerten van U2 .. maar nooit meer zo heftig. Ik weet nog heel goed dat ik het jaar ervoor Under a blood red sky HE-LE-MAAL grijs had gedraaid en ja, dan eindigen ze met 40 .. Thanks for uploading! Hopelijk komt er nog meer ..

dit was inderdaad een aardbeving, beton zag je heen en weer gaan, en dat een paar jaar na de belgische affaire (stadion ingestort). Tijdens het verlaten van het stadion een onvergetelijke sfeer met '40',zelfs tot ver op de snelwegen op weg naar huis merkbaar, het simpelste podium ooit gezien maar wat een sfeer.beste concert ooit meegemaakt. dirk van der galien.

Ik stond daar ook tussen ( als de 2e avond was ) was het eerste nr van U2 zelf, ze begonnen met een cover ( vielen in op een nr dat al speelde )volgens mij iets van stand bij you. nog steeds mijn mooiste concert waar ik geweest ben.

Mijn eerste concert in De Kuip. Voorprogramma was ook goed, Intuanua, Crissie Hide (Pretenders) zong eerst nieuwe nummers waar iedereen boeee begon te roepen en toen zei ze dat we een k.. publiek waren, daarna zong ze oude "Pretender" nummers die iedereen mee zong en toen waren we opeens het beste publiek dat er ooit is geweest. Toen was het even stil en begon er een gitaar te spelen, Kippenvel, alleen jammer voor de verlichting dat het in de middag begon.

Ik was erbij, ik was de helft vanhet concert ( vergeten) , hebben ze party girl gespeeld???mijn god wat een concert, ik heb altijd gedacht en nog steeds dat Rotterdam hun stad was ( zie ook de video van a sort of homecoming ). 87 in de oude kuip. in tua nua, in het voorprogramma, seven into the sea ....remember....hahah time flies, but we wont forget;

lachen zeg 11 juli 1987 . herinner mij dit nog met een interview vooraf door adam curry waarin hij aan bono met in zijn bijzijn adam clayton vroeg '"how is your lovelife"" en bono was hiervan niet amused en brak het interview af...ps lucille is die ochtend geschreven en werd door bono acoustisch gespeeld

Krijg nog Kippevel als ik het zie het was Magnificent Er hing ook nog een spandoek "Bono for president" en na afloop het stadion uitlopen met "40" de sfeer was toen echt geweldig kan de bas van Big Audio Dynamite nog goed herinneren!!

was on the news last week when they have concerts in this stadium they have to pull the volium down to get people get of jumping to much otherwise the 3th rang could collaps,this must have been the cause of it ;)
