When I finally find a version that isn't a shitty cover, it's the first one that isn't labeled with Bob Dylan. Thanks a lot for the song, thanks for not making a cover, but is it so fucking hard for people to label their songs appropriately?
All the shitty covers are labeled Bob Dylan, even though it's not Bob Dylan. When it finally IS Bob Dylan, it's not labeled. Goddamn infuriating.

good luck paying up those loans when you graduate and become the most over-qualified fast-food worker ever. College does not guarantee income anymore.
On a personal level, how fair is it that someone who works their tail off going to college and paying for their living expenses and tuition to have to share with someone who decided to get an entry job and coast? Humans should be rewarded for hard work, not penalized.
Economically speaking, the freedom to allocate resources has proven to be the most effective way of generating wealth, period. US GDP per capita: 48,000. Cuba: 5,500.
@matahking I find that reasoning hard to follow, you are neglecting the millions that didn't have the slightest chance to begin with. Where do those fit in? "generating wealth"? It generates the wealthy.
And you don't need that much money to go to college and earn an education. Work at a fast-food place and take out loans, that's I am doing. So yes, they have a chance at making it, a pretty good chance.
That doesn't excuse the wealthy from making sure people don't starve to death and have shelter, but to distribute all the wealth equally is not fair and detrimental to future wealth. Imagine if there is no incentive to invent?
@matahking Fast food job + loans. Banks sure are lending money to just about anyone these days. But hell working in a fast food joint will give you (my country) 500€/month. To go to university expect to pay around 1200€ annually, if you dream on getting a master's degree that outta cost you around 2000(minimum) to 7000€. But that's ok, just get that loan and as soon as you finish your degree and have no place to work but fastfood you can always strive to become employee of th month.
@matahking Oh I think in 2007 a woman born in africa was more likely to be raped than to learn how to read. (study didnt mention the odds of getting a job) But hey capitalism is great it's done wonders to extreme poverty and let's face with all the medical tests pharmaceuticals pratice in africa it sure has helped us improve our health!
Good grief it shouldn't have taken me 10 minutes to find the original version of this song. The video itself though, seems a little over dramatic, especially since most of those pictures are from the last century, not the current one.
Would you say that if it had been a member of your family he and his gang had murdered? I think not, but hey! We're all entitled to our opinions and if that is yours then I respect your viewpoint. ;-)
@slayerareawesome explain to me how exactly a man who ordered his sad little cult to carry out the murders of 9 people because he believed in some oncoming race war is a 'fucking genius'?

It's nice that after about 50 years, Dylan's songs still can reflect the dirty side of the world, the stupidity of some humans. Everyone in this world really have to listen to this song, and re-think how many stupid things we've done.
Just got done reading Hearts in Atlantis, by Stephen King. I have to say, it really opened my eyes to what exactly was going on in the '60's, and now I'm absolutely hooked to Dylan's music.
If you work hard, you get money.iF you dont work hard you dont get money. If you are a good politican you can be president. (Not just the labouring classes!) Wouldnt that be fair?
@GoodbyeBieber2 yes, thats completely fair, but it overlooks some people, sometimes its hard to get a job, I've seen badly malnurished children in my own country (which is smaller than texas) but I think it's the best way to go. the thing is that with capitalism, the small people get screwed (the people that couldnt get the right education work for the people with better education(or smartest), making them money), and with socialism, everyone is screwed (regardless of education)
@Blackspidy619 So in your country (wherever you live) you have to pay money if you want to go to school? In my country I neednt. Everybody gets the same education.
well first, you're implying he exists. If you think so, you're religious. You don't respect your religion or your beliefs. You don't respect your self. People hate other good for nothing people.
@KarazhanIsCake its a joke. I wasn't implying shit, I'm not religious, it wouldnt matter if i was, I do respect myself, and who gives a shit what's in my comment?
Benjamin Franklin, Stephen Hawkins, Abraham Lincoln, Henry Ford, The Wright Brothers, Mark Twain the list goes on. But I'm glad to see the rest of the world respects Bob Dylan lol. Jesus Christ, and they say Americans are ignorant. SMH
Capitalism can be refuted as an exploitative and unjust system simply by understanding that classes are not subjective, because that lets anyone decide which class they percieve themselves to be part of, Classes in actuallity are determined by relations to the means of production and relations to labor, when that is understood there is no possible way to justify Capitalism.
@Bolshevikred1 How would you justify communism? Stalinist Russia? The Purges? Cambodia year zero? Cuba? Venezuala? Compare all of them to the free and peaceful countries of the U.K., America, France etc ... yeah communism looks better because mass murder and civil war ensures social equality. And before you call me ignorant I must inform you that have degree in Sociology.
@EliminateIgnorance "We are not Communists, we are revolutionaries" - Pol Pot. Cuba was never really Marxist, if you read early quotes from Castro he was not a Marxist, he was a Cuban nationalist who thought being a Kruschevite Social-Imperialist colony would be better then being an American imperialist neo-colony, Chavez is a Social-Democrat and I could send you articles on the great purge and the Soviet Union under Stalin but would it be worth it?
@Bolshevikred1 Wow thats rich "it wasnt real marxism" exactly Marxism is a utopian ideology that has failed to be put into practice. Did I not mention that I have a degree in sociology? I have studied the purges in great detail. If you love Cuba so much why dont you move there? Ah but you wont, because its poverty ridden country ... but also a "workers paradise". There are people in North Korea who have to eat grass to stay alive - because of communism.
@EliminateIgnorance I dont love Cuba, did you even read my post?. However according to Unicef it is the only country in Latin America that doesen't suffer from childhood malnutrition. If your not going to recognize that there are many diffrent tendencies within the Marxist movement, the one I follow aligns itself with Enver Hoxha and Albania and does not recognize any movements listed with the exception of Josef Stalins USSR as Marxist.
@Bolshevikred1 Albanian communism also failed ... Marxism has failed in every instance to provide social stability. Capitalism, whilst on the surface is unfair, does. To exaplain; In a capitalist society even the "poor" can afford mobile phones and computers whilst in communist countries, the poor starve to death. Wealth must be generated through the dree market in order for it to redistributed to the people. Marxist thought fails to answer this basic economic necessity.
@EliminateIgnorance Im sorry, just... please stop talking to me. Your just... completely fucking retarded. I would take the time to inform you on things but your just so stupid, Its not worth it. Any further response will be ignored.
Communism never succeeded in the past because it CAN'T. First, it attempts to get rid incentive which equals a lessened desire to work. Second, it stops individuals from doing what they want, instead they have to do what is good for EVERYONE. Thirdly, it is entirely utopian and that just doesn't work. And finally, the Economic Calculation problem has yet to be an obstacle that they have overcome. Sorry, try again later.
Youre looking at systems which never lived to see a century. Its silly to say the system cant work if the system never had time to prosper. Even america had 300+ years to prosper, whilst russian industry had to start practically from scratch in the 30s. the incentive for work is "to each according to his need", not everyones a selfish bastard you know, and if they are well theyre better off dead. your argument is basically "it doest work because i dont see my self better off"
Capitalism is ok if your well off or you think you are well off, job security these days is just a state of mind. The Tories will try to make us pay for the NHS soon, they've already hiked up tuition fees to 9k pa from 3k and that was too expensive, so intellectual people from poor backgrounds can't afford to be educated to better themselves or if they do they have £27,000 worth of debt hanging around thier neck at the end with no job either. Pull the ladder up we're ok mentality of the Tories.
if you had some sense youd realise that cuts are better than the proposed fiscal policies of labour. You cant leave a deficit with more spending, thats just stupid, because the current deficit is not a cyclical one, its one accumulated since the 80. Cameron is doing a good job. in a capitalist state its either his way ( a good way) or the highway ( get the fuck back to socialism and transcend into communism).
@barnaulishe we had enough cash in the coffers to finance bombing the shit out of Libya just so William Hague can suck up to the rebels in the vein hope we get a cut price oil deal out of it. Cameron doing a good job? He's gone and given the £1.4 Billion contract to Siemens in Germany for the Thames Link contract, wouldn't that have been better to give it to Bombardier to keep the money in this economy, keeping people in jobs as they'd get some of the money back though tax.
@realanthon And yet those who work harder on society are the ones who earn less. If you born poor, you will most likely remain poor for the rest of your life even if you're an hard worker.
@1CitizenOfEarth Born poor, die poor.. you are talking of a Caste System, in a system of social classes you can rise even poor.. agreed that is more hard rise than fall, but its harder work that dont work
Thank you God, eehm, Bob. You are my life.

@4TheLibertyMinded

Cameron is doing a good job. in a capitalist state its either his way ( a good way) or the highway ( get the fuck back to socialism and transcend into communism).
barnaulishe 1 month ago
@barnaulishe we had enough cash in the coffers to finance bombing the shit out of Libya just so William Hague can suck up to the rebels in the vein hope we get a cut price oil deal out of it. Cameron doing a good job? He's gone and given the £1.4 Billion contract to Siemens in Germany for the Thames Link contract, wouldn't that have been better to give it to Bombardier to keep the money in this economy, keeping people in jobs as they'd get some of the money back though tax.

@1CitizenOfEarth Born poor, die poor.. you are talking of a Caste System, in a system of social classes you can rise even poor.. agreed that is more hard rise than fall, but its harder work that dont work
