  • Why do you never show your face?

  • @Paper000000 Well said!

  • well manicured fingernails. :)) lol

  • Maybe its my imagination, but your voice sounds different in this video. Do you normally wear a retainer or mouthguard of some kind that you took out for this one?

  • @rotaryfreak3

My voice sounds different because I have a new HD video camera with much better sound. :)

  • @faliaphotography Ah, its amazing the difference a good mic can make. The old one seemed to have a real hard time with the "s" sounds. Anyway, you do a great job on your videos. I'll have to show the wife your concealed carry and holster vids, as she is considering getting a permit.

  • Nice job not closing your eyes (flinching) every time you shoot.

  • I've never understood the value of loaded indicators. I thought all guns should be treated as loaded all the time.

  • Best PPQ video ive seen yet.

  • So sweet....and so lethal. Hey how did you get the perfrec sight alignment on camera?

  • @AlfonsFromAtech No offense taken here Al, and none meant to you. Good shooting!

  • Thanks for the great review! I'm a Walther nut, I love my P99 AS, PK380, PPS and P22... I guess I'm just going to have to get a first edition PPQ now, the threaded barrel is sexy!

  • Think Im in love.

  • ok really cool that a woman knows what shes talking about and everything and I love that you have a walther, thats the one I want.. but unfortunately now i have to rethink getting a PPQ for myself, Im sure you have really small hands and it doesnt look big in your hands at all.. Im 6'7 and have HUGE hands (8.5in long 4x4 palms)

  • Good review, great weapon.

But I must ask, how can you give this a favorable review and dislike XDs? I guess XDs are built for larger hands with the 1911 grip angle, but they are very similar.

  • since when is glock 19 is double action?

  • Nice job. Great review!

    Thanks

  • ALWAYS GET GERMAN MADE!! EVERY THING THEY MAKE ARE ALWAYS THE BEST!!

  • nice video, thx. am just about to purchase my 1st 9mm. which 1 u recon, m&p, ppq or glock?

  • @jason123451907

Honestly the PPQ is probably the best gun of the 3, so I'd recommend that one. The reason I prefer my M&P, however, is because I've got really small hands & can get a much better grip on it, which feels better to me & allows me to shoot better. Because I've got such small hands & get an awkward grip on the PPQ, I notice a difference in recoil and can control the M&P better. I doubt most guys would even notice a difference in recoil since their hands would fit the PPQ great.

  • @faliaphotography thx gorgeous!

  • 20:05 phsco killer ! ! both eyes open locked on to the target ..... great job

  • I bought the PPQ .40. Agree with you. These guns are awesome. The trigger is the best I've shot and so far I have not had a single problem with it. No jams, stove pipes or any other malfunctions. Walther hit it out of the park with these.

  • Very nice review. I wish my wife were interested in my new hobby/self protection ideas. I noticed that you shoot with both eyes open. As I understand it, that is something that is highly recommended in a tactical situation. How easy was it to learn how to do that? I still shoot by aiming with one eye open and one closed.

  • @Wysiwyg101

It was a little awkward at first getting used to it, but I've been practicing shooting that way for awhile now.

  • @Wysiwyg101 the way I taught myself was to keep both eyes open and if my eyes lost focus of the sights I would squint my off eye and open it back up and focus would come back. the front and rear sight should be sharp and in focus. on a side note I am cross eye dominant so right handed and left eye dominant so it might be easier for you to learn. just keep after it and it will become more natural.

  • @faliaphotography

I am glad you are doing full fledged reviews! I am really trying to get my girlfriend to have interest in carrying and your videos with all of the holster options is perfect! I love showing her all of the female shooters that are out there so she does not feel like it is odd to like guns! You have my sub!

  • why do you always hide your face?

  • I just purchased this pistol and will be giving it as a gift in May to my left handed son, Kyle as a college graduation gift. He loves the fully ambidextrous controls as well as the ergonomics. Tremendous review!

  • @CrucibleArms I'm sure he'll love it! haha

  • Outstanding review. Thanks! This will be my next pistol.

  • Good info. Mag release is like H&K's.

And I must say.. -34? Seriously? Girl, get yourself to Texas. We don't have that problem here.

  • Nice weapon lady :) and your hands are just fine, they are normal size hands for a lady :)

  • @faliaphotography , Are the sights high enough to clear "most" suppressors, in your opinion? I'm thinking of getting the first edition (only found 2 left!) but if I will have to replace the sights (for something taller) to clear a can I'll just get a regular PPQ.

  • @CajCoo

No, I don't think they would clear most suppressors, although an Osprey might work.

  • Great review, make me want to get one.

  • Sig if only i could find a woman like you ied be set for life... lol Thanks for the vids their awesome :)

  • I can see this in a 40S&W-sweet ;-)

  • 32 rounds. Never blinked. Pro.

  • nice review.. digging da TAD gear ;)

  • @kh1991

Thanks! Yea, I just love my TAD gear shemagh :)

  • -34 degrees where do you live?

  • i love this gun. should come out with a longer barreled version...about 4.5 to 5 inches...

  • cool, on the range i can hear the short reset, i think the reset may be as short as the Glock

  • @1942nuclear as short as the glock? No way, Its shorter! Ha, the reset is 1/10 of an inch on this gun. Simply amazing.

  • good old lothar walther german engineering, and riffling groves and lands in barrel are the best, the handy work of walther also, to gaurantee accuracy. this is one of the best female gun reviews, keep up the good work, details are greatly appreciated.

  • I've never seen a girl like this.. . Ron Paul supporter, gun loving, sound minded woman, who can kick my ass.. Glad they are out there. :P

  • @ewc58 I second that. Superb review. My first time watching her reviews and I was totally impressed. So much good information in an organized, clear presentation.

  • You don't really like to show your face on youtube do you? :( I can kinda tell, but you are really good at reviews

  • Looks like you spent a lot of time working on this. Impressive level of detail. This has to be the most informative review of the PPQ I've found anywhere. Thanks for your work on this. Great job!

  • want one, great vids:)

  • You probaly never shot a P210.

Well i can tell you that the P210's trigger is waaay better than that piece of crapstic (just joking;))

That's the best out of the box trigger in my opinion.

  • K looks like I have another gun to buy. I think Ive fallen in love, hard to find a girl with any kind of knowledge of fire arms.

  • Great Video...Wow -34 degrees must be Celsius. Keep up the great videos. Very informative.

  • are you an assassin ._.

  • Walther PPQ...Jack Bauer's new gun!

  • Faliaphotography, I think you would like the Ruger SR9c or SR9. Their grips would fit your hands better and I know the SR9c has a nice short crisp trigger reset. I would like Walther to make a compact single stack version of the PPQ for concealed carry and a range/competition/home defense version with a 5 inch barrel.

  • @dsg325 there's no reason Walther mags need to cost that much. The MR baby eagle is essentially a Walther P99 and those mags are also made by mec gar....which you can pick up for~$30 US. They also work in the P99 and the PPQ.

  • FINALLY......a girl who is GIRLY, cute, and a sweetie.....BUT who knows her stuff about guns, carrys guns, and isnt afraid to use one......her boyfriend is one hell of a lucky man.

  • dang shes cute. and she likes guns!

  • Look in the breach in a halogen light. The finish in the metal has rainbow hues. Absolutely beautiful. This is the first barrel I have ever seen that has a polarized finish. Astounding Walther!

  • Yes mam, I would love to have the same trigger on my Glock's. that is how good the PPQ's trigger is.

  • PPQ = Rapid Fire Perfection! Empty 15 rounds into a target, staying on target and firing as fast as possible. The PPQ does that, No problem. I have had one for 3 months now, no problems at all and it shoots and feels incredible. A Great German 9mm.

  • Left eye dominant?

  • Been eyeing up this gun since you posted this video, just need to get a little more cash and I'll order one. It is a little hard to find where I'm from.

  • Wow! Nice gun. Lucky!!!

  • She's got good form...

  • Made in Italy, I guess they're MEC-GAR. Hate when mags cost that much.

  • It's still a 9mm. Ugh...the price on this thing...

Sorry, but I wont budge from my USP nor my B92-X. Walther from the 30's-40's, sure. Not now.

  • No offense, but why do you always hid your face?

    Are you ugly or something?

  • show me your face beautiful

  • I love your nails! Do you have them done?

  • Im teaching my gf to shoot just like you lol

  • great vid

  • @faliaphotography, I just picked up the HK P30 in 40 cal and it feels great in the hand, hows the walther?

  • You sold me on this gun, I am going to get one pretty soon.

  • thats cold it doesn't that cold in southern MI

    !

  • I echo everything that everybody else has said about your videos. Plus, you have a very soothing voice, which is SO nice. It almost makes me sleepy :) You ARE one of the only people I've ever seen who doesn't even bat an eyelash as you fire a weapon. Monica Potter is another woman who I notice doesn't do that in her films as she's firing. Keep up the good work!

  • the only thing I don't like the mag release switch/button, it's just so weird to manipulate...

  • So this girl... I mean... Who do I have to kill...

  • this is one of the best reviews for any weapon i have seen on here. This lady could teach weapon craft to novices both in the armed forces and emergency services. excellent work.

  • A+

  • I am very impressed by you. Thanks for sharing.

  • Excellent sight alignment on every shot! Nice.

  • What an excellent review - not just of the PPQ, but in general one of the best gun reviews I've seen in some time. I'm subscribing. And I think I must have a PPQ. Currently my favorite pistol is my PPS in .40. Maybe I'm on my way to becoming a Walther guy. I just wish they'd make something in .45 caliber.

  • Maybe to avoid Sextoids......

  • I'm sure you've been asked this before but, why do you choose to not show your face? Is it for your protection from government agents and evil doers?? I doubt you are horribly disfigured so what's the reason?

  • Love your vids, all of them lol

but try a high temp oring behind the thread protector.

  • Impressive video and a joy to watch.

I wasn't in the market for a new pistol, but I am now.

  • I'll be waiting for your XD video and hello from the great kommunist state of Kalifornia!

  • Great review. Best I've seen on the ppq. Keep up the good work!!

  • 20:00 bloody hell you scared the shit out of me, i jumped under my desk :D

i live in Ulm and a friend of mine works at Walther R&D, he said they have much more round count on the test guns - running absolute reliable, love your vids keep up the good work

  • @agocom

    Danke!

  • @faliaphotography

    Bitte!

  • I'll also assume you have been watching magpul dynamics videos lol, ask me how I know

  • I'll assume you are an XD hater

  • @arvdaugii

hmm.. yes, that is why I just did a video on the XDS and said I am anxious to shoot one

  • Great review, specially like the chart and comparison!

Specially in the first clip of you shooting (camera angle viewing the sights) You seem to have very very steady aim. I would be interested to see what your target looked like.

  • Fantastic review. After watching this I am seriously thinking about buying one. Great job, keep up the good work!

  • great video.. really professional demonstration!

    Keep up!!

  • How come you always hide your face? Just curious. Btw, nice ppq.

  • Perfect review, thank you so much.

  • Got my PPQ 9mm on Tuesday(not 1st edition). Shot amazing! Awesome trigger(video does not do this justice... it's as short as my colt gold cup w/ 3.5 lb colt trigger job) Very pleased. I mentioned how awesome this review was previously but once again, thanks for the great review. Finding this to be another favorite of my small collection. No complaints, ~200 rounds through it, no issues. This gun made my dads P226 feel sloppy!

  • The pistol design almost looks like the hk p30 minus feature differences.

  • Thanks for doing this. This is a very comprehensive review, and I'm looking forward to picking up a PPQ. Not sure if I can find a First Edition tho :/ Anyways, Great video :)

  • Hi I have both of them ,I got the 9mm in the First edition and the 40 and they are Great ,They come with a Test Traget ,And i did Better at the Range ,The Price is good too .Go to Buds guns.com they have the Best price that i have found,Right now 1/21 they have the 9mm and the 40 not the 1st edition $503.00 Free shipping to your FFL i would add the ins. which is $6 to $10 and what erver your Trasfer fee is . for me it was $544.00 out the Door.now the First will be a little more.

  • Excellent video. Thank you for teaching me so much!

  • She should hook up with FPS RUSSIA.

  • I totally concur with ewc58...just another EXCELLENT review as always! YOU'RE JUST THE BEST FALIA.

    GRACIAS.

  • great review! my brother is a big p99 fan, forwarding to him :)

  • Great Review and very well produced !! How do you manage to get all the close up video with crystal calrity?

Thanks for the obvious hard work.

    TacticalNerd53

  • I'm once again "blown away" with all the attention to detail you do. I'm impressed with that firearm working so flawlessly, especially in that kind of cold!

  • I have to completely echo ewc58's comment. Great video. Definitely subscribing and passing your channel along to my buddy. Loved the attention to detail and the amount of information. New fan.

  • Great review! Where did you get your handgun training it is text book? You can tell that you practice. Also check out Apex tactical if you are unhappy with your reset on the m&p. They are a great company and you do not need a gunsmith to install the parts just a hammer and some roll pin punches. Any way great review makes me want a Walther.

  • The grip does look a little ridiculous lol.

  • You're like Wilson from Home Improvement.

  • Wow. You do extremely thorough reviews. Your giving Nutnfancy a run for his money. Also I love the way you list all your talking points in the description, very organized. Subscribed.

  • Great review. Keep up the good work!

  • Try drilling/tapping the thread protector and run in a set screw. Why don't you show your face? You are obviously attractive.Anyway, Great work I really enjoy and trust your reviews! Could you do one for Cobra and American Derringers in 45/410? My wife is considering one for deep cover.

  • hey Falia, i'm a new subscriber and honestly... this is the best PPQ review i have seen on the youtoobz so far! Nutnwho?

1500 rounds and no jams... sounds like my Sig and FNP :-) Sorry to hear about your small hands. You know polymer can be sanded ... right?

i'm sure if you sanded just an 1/8'' of an inch off the back strap and front strap of the grip, it would fit your hand just right!

Then, just Duracoat or Ceracoat the frame and grip... Olive Drab of course :-)

    that's what i would do.

  • Why the threaded barrel? Are silencers legal in Michigan?? I'm not crazy about its appearance...but if you like how it shoots that's certainly important. Is this a gun you plan on carrying? Just curious...

  • Silencers are now legal to own in Michigan. No, I am not going to carry the PPQ - I like my M&P.

  • May I ask where you live with a -34 degree range testing climate? Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?

Excellent review of the PPQ. I'll certainly be looking into one after revewing your vid. Keep up the great work!

  • Loved the video and I'm looking to get the PPQ soon. Also you talked a little about the PPS I just wondered if you could do a review on that gun

  • I think the H3 is a designation for Tritium gas on the night sights

  • One measurement you might add to your charts moving forward is trigger reach, the distance from the face of the trigger to the backstrap where the web of the hand rides, that measurement can be decisive as to whether a smaller-handed (or shorter-fingered) person can comfortably use the gun.

I've seen it done as two numbers so folks can compare a given pistol to a known: straight linear distance front to back and the circumference around trigger face and grip.

  • Very nice video. Dam that is cold. You should come down to AZ to shoot in the winter. Could shoot with shorts and a t shirt if you wanted to.

    Have a good day

  • Excellent review. keep up the good work nice to see you don't mind the cold :)

  • Great Review... I like the looks of this gun, the Aggressive serations, trigger reset is great. How is the slide release when putting it in action?

P.S. you talked abut how you have to change your grip to hit the mag release on the M&Pc. Have you tried using your index finger instead of your thumb to hit it? Set the mag release up for a left handed shooter, then use your right index finger aka trigger finger to hit it. (thats how my dad does his)

  • @40Spec

The slide release worked fine. It was low profile and easy to activate from either side. Interesting idea about the M&P mag release, I had never thought to try that.

  • you should really send this video to walther. you do an excellent review. keep up the good work, I've got my sister convinced to get a good ccw pistol with the help of your vids.

  • Great review. Great gun!

  • Holy Hell -34 Degrees are you in Siberia? haha

  • Great review and very informative! Thank you very much.

  • GOOD LORD YOU HAVE SMALL HANDS. good review though, and a nice looking gun. but i will say that the looks of the 17 round mag are awful

  • - 34 degrees?! You must live in Antarctica! Great review.

  • Nice gun and video.

  • Some of the features of the old Walter P38 persisted for decades and for good reason. The 'loaded' indicator on the P38 is visible in daylight, yet can also be felt by the thumb while in the holster. Mankind's ability to out smart himself has to considered. BTW, I have relatively small hands as well that find today's full capacity magazines a hand full as compared to the single stack configurations of yore. If they would only use the CAD to reduce that bulk, they'd steal customers.

  • Be sure to use the Blue Loc-Tite, If you use red it will be almost impossible to get off.

  • @1Independentrider

    thanks :)

  • great video! lots of good information! I have not had a chance to put my hands on one yet.

  • Looks like this pistol is really set for a prosperous futureThis review would've been even more powerful if you would've shown the results of your range work ;)

  • I never noticed how really small your hands are. I am sure that can be a problem when it comes to pistols for you. Thanks for the review.

  • Do you have any advice for shooting in the cold. I'll be shooting today and it's only going to be 40 degrees in NC !! At least no snow on the ground. I hate cold weather.

  • @1039sflem

40 isn't cold! lol. Just bundle up and use anti-fog lenses. :)

  • All I know if I had you as protector I would be very happyy....muawhsszzzz.

  • @faliaphotography - I love how that sidearm looks and your review of it. The threaded barrel was an added plus. Though I own a Beretta Storm carbine so I need a pistol that will take the same mag's or just my favorite brand (Sig's!) with modified mag's.

  • @armando1228 thanks for the info! I think she wants the comfort of having a safety beyond her finger and her mind...so the Glock may be out...I carry the G23 and love it ...I will take a look at the Nano as you suggested ....thx!

  • That was an EXCELLENT review of the PPQ. I don't think a Walther rep could have done a better job. Very professionally done and most informative review I've seen done by anyone in a long time. And par excellence on the shooting I may add. Been subbed to you for a long time and very glad I am. Thanks again.

  • @deputysheriff100

    thank you!

  • Can't wait for mine to show up! Good review! One of the best I've seen so far. More informative than Hickok45's and more direct facts I feel than nutnfancy's. Also, where are you shooting @ -34 degrees? It hasn't even been that cold in metro minnesota this year. Also, you should have made mention, much sexier gun than a block. Can't wait to put it to the test with my .40 USPc and see how they perform compared to each other. Thanks for the review!

  • @MachoCamachoZ

    thanks for watching!

  • I have 3 PPQ...the first two I bought in each caliber and the 3rd PPQ is a first edition. Loved your review and love my PPQ...it is ashame you have smaller hands....it fits my hands like a custom gun

  • @knoxclan2u

Yea, makes it tricky to find a gun I'm comfortable with. I do like having small hands, though, so it's more of a shame that most grips aren't smaller. :D

  • A First Edtion sweet. I love my PPQ! You gave this gun a fair review. Too bad it doesn't fit your hand better. Keep the good reviews coming.

  • @Mossfly

yea it is a sweet gun

  • Thoughts of the KelTec PF9?? My wife has small hands and she is looking to go through the CCW process.. Seems like a perfect year round CC gun. Your thoughts??

  • @matthew5302321

I didn't personally like the PF9. Actually if you check out my "Selecting a Firearm" vid I think I talk about the PF9 and fire it a bit. The grip felt too big for me and actually it was quite a snappy gun. More recoil compared to other similar 9mms I've shot.

  • @matthew5302321 Matthew have you wife shoot a PF9 first the recoil on that gun is so pronounced that is almost unbereable to shoot. Now if your budget is ok the new Beretta Nano is excellent! So is the Glock 26.

  • are you Lara Croft ?

  • @bladeliu

I have definitely felt like her before. lol

  • -34 thats way too cold for anything

  • ah btw. in think the P30 is the best competitor. Ok it's not a strikerfire gun but the quality difference between the HK,Walther to Glocks and M&Ps are quantal leaps.

  • Carl Walther Ulm Deutschland ♥

    great review

    greetz from germany

  • @Piret223

    Greetings from Alaska!

  • Off topic. what kind of Camera do you use? I am looking for one and this one seems to be very good quality.

  • @1Independentrider

    Sony Handycam HDR-CX160

  • try some loc-tite blue. I think that will help with the thread protector. I think the teflon tape might melt.

  • @1Independentrider

Yes, you're right, the tape did melt. I'll go ahead and try some loc-tite. Thanks for the comment

  • Great video/review! The new camera makes the video look great! I did notice on the PPQ that the mag release looks a lot better oriented than the past models and guns such as the HK. Wonder if there are any first editions left.....

  • Another awesome review, entertaining and very informative.

  • You sold me. I will check it out.

  • Excellent review as always! Thanks!
