I am glad that it's not just me who hates the CPU on very hard. I thought it would be a good way to get better for online opponents, but no one I have ever played against just flat out knew what my next move was going to be every single time. It was very disheartening.

I disagree with not learning anything from offline cpu in this game. I've seen it pull off some nice combos which I see quite a few others online doing. I could see myself learning these if I went into training vs cpu and studying a few things about how they fight.

But yeah you'll not improve on your own mixups for sure. The computer can indeed sense when you're going to do that kinda stuff but at least it's not SNK bad.

Also yes we do want offline Heroes and Heralds.

i am sorry but h & h offline is impossible because there are cards that give you certain buffs with condition that you aren't able to se your enemies meter or life bar or both and we all know that can't happen locally only against the cpu or online so even though I want local h & h as much as you do it would disable some cards and that wouldn't be fair sorry

I have to disagree about not learning anything from the A.I. The A.I. taught me a lot of in this game. And if the A.I. can stop mixups then its pretty good IMO. The gist of it is this. If the A.I. can beat me then I have absolutely no chance online. Since players say, "The A.I. sucks" If I'm wrong then someone tell me why please.

I've gotten a lot better than I would have against human players who don't give you a chance to do anything because they took the time to train against the training cpus and get their combos down and at least the crappy ai will be bad enough to give you a chance to practice combos and learn your characters instead of getting perfected against match after match online.

Definitely seeing a lot of Sabretooth, with two Luke Cages. I use Sabretooth with two Watchers. My main team is Dormammu, Taskmaster, Hulk, but a lot of people online play as fast characters so I replace Dormammu with Ghost Rider. A LOT of people using Fin Fang Foom, especially with Multiple Man and/or Dr. Wily. Sabretooth as a main card is probably the most seen, Fin Fang Foom is a close second. Luke Cage is probably most used sub-card. Vergil, Wesker, and Akuma are EVERYWHERE online.

Yo Miles! Thanks for the great Vid again! I spar with the CPU quite often to improve. Tips:

1.The CPU expects overheads, then low attacks

2. Jumping and baiting is useful and should be used a lot. Jump, wait for CPU to do an anti-air attack, block, and then wait for CPU to land and start FREE combo.

3. Never be predictable with the air-crossover combos. The CPU has UNGODLY ways to predict which direction you are going to go so switch it up

4. Expect to lose many times! Practice makes perfect!

Choose Sentinal, Dante, and a beam asist charecter. Spam the heavy and asist buttons and the computers are quickly defeated. It's rare to not see a perfect againt the computer with this plan. I don't do this in real matches.

He's a cool character but we already have modok as the novelty character and rocket racoon isn't really part of the main marvel universe. Where is the punisher, the green goblin , blade, doc oc,(who I would really love to see in the series). We want the characters we grew up on no more shuma gorath types. What's next mojo? Ughh

Another possible "plays the same" deck would be... Edward Fokker (Primary), Fou-lu, Fou-lu. Which would be: HP/Meter regenerates very quickly during X-factor, you have 3 X-factors.

Recommended deck for you, Maximillian: Mephisto (Primary), Lin, Princess. That's basically: You start with 4 meters, you regen meter automatically, supers cost less meter, supers do more damage. It works well for what you're looking for since it shouldn't affect your gameplay habits.

the deck i had set up for me was based around speed. But i have Sabertooth as the main, i think Devilot for the health and meter drain and Black Panther. The ppl that i use this deck on are Dante, Frank,Storm and Deadpool, and even Phoenix

the cheapest combination i can think of is having the S Rank Card which i can't remember the name of, but i think its called "Sin Fang Lou?", this card gives you unlimited X-factor when you have more than 3 HC Bars. With that card make sure you have the Silver Surfer card on point which recovers your Both Meter, and Heath(when i say health i mean both red health, and the health that has been taken away from you). Lastly you have captain blue with this set-up, because it gives you 2 extra bars :D

wow are you guys seriously? You can play H&H with a friend. You just go into training mode, then turn the training dummy to Player 2. Make sure you turn off:

a. Recovery of Health

b. Hyper Meter Recovery

c. unlimited x-factor

Next set up the cards for both people and play :D

idk if this is just me but i found a glitch with zreos medium sensuizan while in sougenmu the first zero hits but does not take the opponent with him the second zero hits and then takes the opponent to the ground and I get no ground bounce for a relaunch. Now I can't finish zeros mission mode :'( help please is anyone else having this problem?

Right now the best deck I have is Mephisto (main), Kingpin (sub), Princess or Kingpin (sub). You start with 3-5 bars of hyper meter, constantly regain it,gain hyper when you die, and deal level 4 (or max) hyper damage. Chips ahoy. ( Constant x-factor card does deal this deck problems though).

I also run team heroes, but on the PS3 it is running 7 heroes to every one herald, so getting matches can be tough...

Brodia* (air super armor and invincible to projectiles when dashing), and Ultron (air speed increase and longer flight). Overall, with these two cards combined, it's possible to break through someone's keepaway game (e.g. if they use Sentinel, Hawkeye, or Doom). Characters with natural air dashes (Spiderman, Nova) travel much further. And if someone is spamming, you can just air dash up to them and perform a grab. Brodia* also goes through projectile hypers.

1) *Steven Chapman (No Block, Super Armor Lv1, uses HC Guage)

2) Destroyer (Temp Attack Power during Parry Lv1, Enable Parrying Lv1)

3) Mephisto (HC Guage at start of match Lv2)

Strategy: Using team wreaking ball, relying on "Super Armor" to punish all heroes, "Parrying" for defense and survival.

So far I haven't lost against a 5* CPU yet, seems cheesey.

Here's a set for characters who're considered Hyper Bar Eaters (Vergil for example)

(PRI) Mephisto - Increases the amount of HC gauge you start with (Starts at 4 bars) + HC gauge refills automatically

(SEC) Daken - Increases the Speed of your life recovery + decreases the opponent's red health.

(SEC) Ms. Marvel - Reflect damage AKA opponents take damage when they touch you.

This is a Vergil player's dream come true. Try it out and see how it works.

Felicia Users...this is for you guys...

(PRI) Blodia - Gain Super Armor AND Invincible to Projectiles while Dashing

(SEC) Kaijin No Soki - Increases Attack power when on the Ground

(SEC) X - Can now Double Jump and Air Dash

Felicia is now immune to her weaknesses and has more ways to get in on the opponent. You'll be invincible while dashing and have much more air control, this is what YOU need to get the jump on your opponents. Take it from me, I'm an expert Felicia player.

I may not be a Phoenix player, but this deck is godlike with Phoenix...

Currently running a Dr. Wily(M)/Akira(S)/Fin Fang Foom(S) deck... Wily for the lvl3 Damage boost based on the amount of HC meter you have, Akira for the Lvl2 dmg boost uring X-Factor, and FFF for constant X-Factor when you have 3 or more HC bars... even though you can't do hypers, using Hulk/Iron Fist/Ghost Rider is pretty ridiculous on hit... If I was any good with Wesker at all, I probably wouldn't even bother with IF.
