They should really update the sonic riders Arc, after all there are a lot of people who love it, or at least make some kind of shift to Xbox and Ps3, otherwise it's back to switching between playing on my ps3 and playing this on ps2.

the trick to doin S-X tricks are control stick or d pad up^ on the first hill ramp and down on the second one...it works like that in every stage first ramp up second ramp down even in the first game

But lets be serious: both are popular, both are awesome but i saw on metacritic, that the newer sonic games suck... Actually, it's quite simple, see that Row of Icons in the top left corner of the screen? Below the Ring count? Thats your charicter's gear, Look up what gear shifting is in real racing to get a basic understanding of what it is, IN this game, changing your gear to a higher gear increases a stat, like Max Boost, Max Speed, Max Acceleration.
