  • So the real question now is why did Wolverine and Cherryland continue to spend millions of our dollars on a dirty coal plant that would be outrageously expensive??? The TR Rose reposrt said 17 - 19 cents 2 years ago, now we know for sure that was an accurate analysis, but Wolverine and Cherryland kept spending our dollars and never told us what the cost would be. Is this what you expect from your co-op? Vote.

  • The Air Permit for the coal plant was denied on Friday May 21st. A large part of the reason to stop this insanity was because it would cost co-op members over $70 more every single month. And the price per kilowatt would be over 20 cents!

Sounds like the TR Rose report was right after all.

  • Nice job!

  • Excellent! Spot-on message and terrific production values. O loved when she went out of focus. Killer video. But who should people vote for in the other board position?

  • @ricsternberg There are two new candidates running for the Board of Directors - Dan Paulson and myself. You'll be receiving the May Country Lines magazine this week. Our bios are in the magazine, along with your ballot. Please vote - send in your ballot!

  • Consumers Power has filed documents with the MPSC claiming 13.5 cents for their coal plant. 5 years and $20 million later, Wolverine has yet to come public with a price estimate. Suspect? You bet. Vote for open records with new leadership.

  • I see you remove the comments you don't like or agree with. Very mature and a good way to get the whole truth out.

  • @celtic2guitar whatever you said must of been offensive or based on your own form of logic that is not supported by real case studies. I looked into the TR Rose report, then Googled the author to find he has conducted many financial analyses of coal plant operations that were determined by others to be accurate. If you post a comment please include your references. And please try and use something other that Country Lines. It will help the discussion as a whole.

  • Great Video! Fellow members this is a grat chance to get started on a fresh track for our cooperative. Share this video. Vote Mo. Say NO to the risky and expensive coal plant Wolverine has been forcing on our co-op. Say YES to open records and accounting so we know where our money is really going. VOTE!
