@HollowayMultimedia I think Donkey Kong 64 is already on there. Goldeneye WILL be on the vc some day. I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed since the wii version is out now.

the reason why donkey kong 64 isnt on the virtual console is because the game uses rares banjo kazooie engine plus it needs a expansion pack

Smash bros. was originally released in JPN on 1/21/99. the japanese VC version was released on 1/20/09 thats the closest date to the 10th anniversary. The US version was released on 4/26/99. The monday closest to 4/26/09 is 4/27/09. Smash Bros. comes out on vc here on 4/27/09. I'd bet $20 on it.
