  • why does that moron have his wheels cocked the wrong way?

  • Why not just post a Jepp helping a Prius?

  • A Shouter pulling a Hummer. NICE!

  • "chris, drive into the mountain!!!"

  • Can't aim camera and talk at the same time?....

  • Looks a lot like my Scout. Mine's a '77 Scout II SS. My papaw, dad and uncle entered it in a contest once on White Top mountain in VA when there was a 4 foot+ snow. It was the only vehicle to make it to the top without getting stuck. They said that they pulled more vehicles out of the snow with it than they can remember. Those things are built like tanks......and with about the same gas mileage, lol.

  • @MegaRandomPanda Agreed. I own the full sized version 3/4 ton IH Travlelall 4x4 with a 392. Very heavy for its size. Scout has that same type heavy engine in it as well which helps with traction on front wheels. Not many mid sized vehicles today with a 800lb engine in it.

  • H1 = it is a real HUMMER ...

    H2 = good car

    H3 = car for pussies

  • Every vehicle gets stuck sometimes. If you knew anything about off-roading, then you would know that. This proves nothing, other than your bias.

  • @Paladine71 No, it proves H3 owners are idiot douchebags, and I'm guessing you own one.

  • @HashDylan If you assume that all H3 owners are idiots, then you show your own stupidity. Tire tread, lockers, and driver skill determine a vehicle's success at off-road driving, not the make of the vehicle. Anything can get stuck, especially a fool like you that knows nothing about real driving. Even the best vehicles can hang up with poor guidance and even the worst have a chance with the best driver. You are a fool. Go back to sucking your thumb or other similarly shaped objects.

  • @Paladine71 So you do own an H3. Idiot douchebag.

  • @HashDylan You waste my time with your stupidity. Here, I'll put it in terms that even you can understand... Take that cock out of your mouth before you talk to me, cum dumpster!

  • @Paladine71 you both show stupidity, one by talking about male genitalia in a scout movie which is pretty fuckin childish to begin with. And two for shouting bias towards a vehicle. I have nothing more to say to such simpletons. Get bent morons.

  • @Gadmeer Isn't that exactly what you're doing assclown? Showing bias towards a vehicle? Don't hate those of us that have dicks because you don't. Morons? Plural? Who's the simpleton that doesn't know one from many? Do us a favor and throw yourself off of a cliff.

  • @Paladine71 Please don't whine, we all hear of you crying and sobbing. Just get over it and admit to yourself what you won't admit to whatever is there in your small little life. Do what you can, enjoy yourself. I want you too.

  • @Gadmeer Gadmeer Hey genius, this conversation was over. Does it really take you 11 months to reply to a conversation? Not too quick of a thinker, huh? Shouldn't you go back to bobbing your head at an gay movie shoot, or at least get yourself to the aforementioned cliff?

  • I love H3's, but scouts are my thing!

  • Another video of peace of shit Hummer getting pulled by a gold ol Scout.

  • Camera man is a mental midget. Obviously unable to chew gum and walk at the same time. Thanks for pointing the camera down at the ground for half the video, dumbass.

  • that scout cant even feel that china made wanna be scout behind it

  • haha fucking hummers..

  • I want to drag around a hummer behind my Scout to! is there a 1-800-number I can call?

  • Me too man! What a pick me up that would be. Lost your job? Wife left you? Your dog died? Well, hook your Scout up to a hummer and drag it around for awhile. You'll be glad you did.

  • Scout to the rescue!!! Go Scout...anything less is just a car!!!!

  • H3=Gay

  • FallenFear223: Have a look at the state of your car industry before you make comments like that. Begging the tax payer for billions because in fact US vehicles are axomatic to failure the moment they leave the factory. GMs etc are not mdde from titanium and I maintain that they will suffer as dascribed, in fact possibly more than an equivalent European model. But hey, you're enetitled to your opinion.

  • You need to work on European and American cars for a few years and get back with us on that one.

  • Scout!

Anything else is just a car!

  • i actually had to use the station wagon to pull out the scout today.!!

  • who the F*** would buy a hummer H3 they have just started to sell them here in australia and i dont know anyone thats brought one yet

stupid price and a weak 4wd

  • I know 2 people that have H3s in australia and they swear by them, one of them has done all sorts of great mods and goes on multi-day cross-country 1000's of kilometer trips offroad.. they are great vehicles... his username on youtube is Nuggetxxxx

  • Jesus Christ, I think the most idiotic examples of ultra stupid driving and activity always come from the US. Is it a national sport to be so excruciatingly dim? What a way to help out! The unnecessary stress on both vehicles by not first taking up the slack is horrendous... and then leaving the wheels turned etc. I just can't believe it. There is another video on utube where two cars do the same, and you can watch these clowns tear off the rear end of a car! I just simply cannot believe it.

  • You don't remove the slack on a snatch ...that is how you generate the momentum needed to free a stuck vehicle . In snow or mud removing the slack and pulling would result in the tow vehicle just spinning its wheels ...And that other video with kids in the driveway is the result of pulling from a non tow/recovery point ... these 2 vehicles are pulling from recovery points and have frames ..

  • fair enough re tow points if that's what the others did with the cars (still shows lack of brains), but I maintain that even in snow one doesn't (excuse the pun) "yank" at the other vehicles tow point with such force. It will weaken if not distort the chassis. In Europe it is common practice to have snow tyres on and in the case of this video a set of chains. You take up the slack and gently pull the other out.. and he in turn puts his wheels straight!! This requires less than 2% brain power.

  • Well you will need to pull with momentum to get free in deep snow or mud if you are on a serious trail...But you don't do it with an ordinary chain or tow strap ...You use a "Snatch strap" which has elastic give in it so you can pull with momentum ,but without the extreme shock load ...also doing this with an ordinary chain or tow strap can easily snap both...but when the chain snaps it can be very dmaging and deadly...so to be fair common sense is not used here ,and neither are the right tools

  • hahaha i was just commenting to myself on tht

yes its stupid especially nt lettin out the slck first tht woulda ripped the ass end outa a toyota, honda, mitsubishi etc.

  • You have to realize that your whole country is the size of like 2 of our states. There is MORE people here. Therefore you will see MORE videos from America.

If he would have taken up the slack and then pulled he would have likely just spun his tires in the snow. Sometimes you need a tug. These vehicles both have full frames...so they aren't going to rip the whole truck in half anytime soon.

  • Europe alone has 370 million people, the US some 260 million. Open space in a country does not determine the amout of people and therefore drivers in it. In Europe one uses winter tyres and or chains. A frame subjected to that stress it will distort, it need not break apart. I would have used chains weight and prudence. Most people in the US still seem to drive around with summer tyres in snow and (like the guys in that vid) carry no chains with them. Still, their cars, and amusing to watch.

  • Hahahaha OH now you're counting ALL of Europe as you country hahahaha.....the US/ Canadan/ Mexico are all the same too right??? Since its ll connected lmao. Technically South America Is America too then right ??? hahaha

Chains wont do ANY good when you're High centered in a 4 foot deep snow pile.

What you dont understand is they USED a NYLON strap. There was NO hard streess on the frame,. The stress is all put on the strap. DONT you see the strap strech in the video?

  • i answered at length, but youtube is not uploading it... can't be bothered again. I lived in Europe when you say "your country". I never in my life lived in UK before (even though a brit), hence euro comparison... ok,,, stretched nylon it is. The UK is a despicable country that just copies the US and collapes when there is .1 cm of snow... and the food is poison. yes, suvs I noticed are worse in snow than all my cars have been. Wonder if this upload will work??

  • obviously you havn't been to montana or wyoming. most all of us own chains. but we we go through 2 foot of snow without them. when it gets to bad then we use them. i mean hummers are a very bad vehicle to buy and expect to do miracles. my 1997 dodge ram 1500 laramie slt has went more places than an hummer. actually i did circles around one in the mud because they got stuck. i would upload videos of my truck but i do not own anything to record videos with....

  • i have a scout and hummer h3 is just funny how bad it is at off road but i still respect hummers only the h1 hummers tho h2 and h3 are shit

  • I think you could have done a better job of filming your shoe....

And tell the Hummer moron to PUSH THE BUTTON "4x4" next time!!

  • wow, hummer is such a peace of shit, just for looks. i have a 78 scout 2 and yeh its a little rusty and is all most completely stock but it will do about any trail you will throw at it.

  • amen

  • so can a nissan safari/patrol

  • well hummers do suck but that other car wouldn't have made it out of that snow drift either. likewise the hummer could have pulled another car outta that easily

  • the older cars are so much better for offroad

  • and on road

  • my friends scout II is a 75' and has 750 horse want to race!!!

  • i heard stupid

  • I am not sure about the H3, but my H2 has a lot of plating beneath the truck. This acts like a snowshoe and lifts the truck on top of the snow so the tires have nothing to grab. A more "exposed" undercarriage in most other stock 4x4s would probably handle better in the soft, deep stuff like snow.

  • aint no bullshit amc in a scout. if your jeep was like an international you would still have it.

  • i hate the h3, the h2 isn't bad but gm keeps on making them smaller wtf?

  • You know what I do want? The new jeep that had the italian diesel in it. The CRD 4 I think it was called? Wonder why we can't get them anymore.

  • Well, I have some first hand knowledge. I have driven them several times and test drove a few new models. The worst experience for me was the visibility from the drivers seat. I don't like the power to weight ratio. I don't like the ornamental body panels that wont hold up. I don't like the fuel economy of the vehicle and I don't like the fact that people associate it with our military vehicle when it isn't even close. Perhaps not a lemon but a pooch for sure.

  • Three years is jumping the gun. More like ten. I'd pay about 7500 for that scout in good condition. I doubt the H3 will be worth 7 in 2018. You can get 06 H3's for 20K all day long. That's quite a hit if you ask me. I don't need a guide to help me pick lemons.

  • I don't like the H3 at all but I have seen a few that were heavily modified that did pretty well on the trails here in NW Montana. They would have been off buying a Defender after dumping that much cash in them. The real sad part about the h3 besides the stock specs is the resale. That scout will be worth more than the H3 in about 3 years.

  • Oh well. The H3 is still one of the best stock off road vehicles you can get. It comes ready to go.

  • Probably, and that's pretty sad. It would be nice if the industry listened to the off road enthusiast.

The H3 comes ready to go on a hard pan road and maybe some mud. Ready for soccer moms to pick up the kids.

  • FJ Crusier, 4Runner, Wrangler, Gran Cherokee, just to name a few things better than a hummer.

I rather wheel a Yugo than a hummer.

  • here in europe the h3 will have a diesel engine option in 2009 which is going to improve fuel economy, you'll probably see a few of those turning up in the usa at some time. the look of the h3 isn't something everybody likes, but those of us who like it think it's the bees knees. ok, it isn't an h1, but it's like close enough for the big boy vibe :) and you're right, a defender probably does it better off road. but a hummer kicks ass in the poser stakes and is up there with the best 4*4s too

  • the diesel would make it a much more attractive GM

  • Well maybe if you cleaned all the snow off your hood and windshield you can see where your going. Moron...

  • ANY type of vehicle can get stuck. HUMMER H3 RULES!!!

  • hey im a scout owner 78 II here guys who cares thats the first hummer ive seen out of the city at least this guys not to yuppie as a scout owner ive pulled out all kinds of trucks everyone is happy to see a scout when stuck at least is saw offroad LOL

  • The h3 is very capable. It has the right stuff. I mean you put a locker and some 33's on any thing it will do well. Also I have seen a fully locked chevy 1500 on 35 bias swampers get stuck tring to go through a 3 foot snow drift. It got stuck. The snow just melts when your tires spin. So just think befor you give people crap.

  • the h3 is garbage

  • wow jeepfan took his h3 offroad, tard. people like this idiot driver in the video could get a freaken tank stuck, he doesnt even know which way hes wheels are turned.

  • I agree lol.

  • maby the h3 got stuck because the h3 is not really made for offroading try getting the h1

  • So true... lol

  • not exactly interesting, but thats my opinion

  • i wana say here that the driver is the most important thing, h3 is one of the best cars & 4x4... sometimes the car is a very good cars in a very high codtions but the driver blue it...

  • The H3 is a joke, not one of the best 4x4's or cars (its not even a car).

  • hey do a recap

    can'tsee nohin but white

  • I'm pretty sure my $900 K5 Blazer could out-wheel an H2 or H3. Probably even an H1 on the right terrain.

  • international scouts kick ass

  • wtach my video pls vikoser

  • h3 used h1 as a propaganda for its performance

  • It doesnt matter if you have a H3 or an H1 if your a shitty driver its going to get stuck. My mom's got her 4x4 subruban stuck in our driveway more than I have with my rear wheel drive, bald tire silverado.

  • conveyician....... an H3 "BUMMER" will go more places than an IH?? hahah and ya had to say "right driver" also, funny, seems like ya never owned an IH before, they are a rare but kickass breed, without a monthy payment. but rock on with your bummer and be like everyone else :) the IH guys here know whats up. until later...

  • IH rules. Owned a 76 Scout II. TANK!!. Short of a Unimog, Scouts were the best 4x4's ever made.

  • The H-3 has a fagott 5 cyl engine G.M. was too dam

poor to come up with a straight 6 - any how - scout

    will allways play in snow...

  • Nothing like an International Scout, is a superior vehicle

  • scouts own!

  • Obviously these ass clowns don't know how to drive in snow. I know this because I a) live in Canada b)drive a Hummer H3 and C) Work on Internationals. Looks to me like they wanted to blaze a trail for the little Scout since the Hummer was buried in the snowbank and the Scout doesn't even have a flake on it anywhere. Before all you dorksticks bash the H3 you should take a look who is behind the wheel first. A 4x4 is only as good as the person who is driving it.

  • Yeah, and I live on a farm in Canada near the highway. I rely on the IH trucks to make it, and those with their vehicles stuck beyond help rely on the truck to get us back to shelter. I've pulled H2's and H3's out, along with various other vehicles. Sometimes it takes a while, but a good winch, studded tires and being smart about it can make any vehicle look superior. I've driven my little Kia Rio passed a stuck landcruiser last winter's snow storm in Regina.

  • Hummer was schooled by a harvester... nice!

  • yup H3 is the worst hummer by far

  • H3s suck, and they have destroyed Hummer's reputation.

  • okay thanx for the correction, actully thought it was a range rover, i actully dont know my cars that well .

  • sure the scout title wasent susposed to be "boy scout" cause .... the yellow thing looks like a range rover

  • bikersrule07, here a little bit of IHC Scout history for you. The yellow one seen on this video, is a IHC Scout Traveller. The Scout most poeples know, is the Scout II, and then there is the Scout Pickups, an Scout Terra. Got it?

  • Check Out My Brand New Hummer @ Zbar16

  • why use such bad tires on the hummer? and some chaines would help a bit.. :P

  • lol even witht he wheels turned its still being pulled lol. man i laugh at these guys who buy them, and there shit for getting into an accident with an older vechile hehe i should know, saw an aerostar crush the hell out of a hummer

  • The Scout sounds good.

  • hummer = Chevy Tahoe on steroids... not a real outdoors vehicle(jeep, international, early land cruiser)

  • lol i think its funny when people go an buy a hummer thinking they can do anything but in reality it blows.

  • El chofer del hummer es un pendejo y el de la camara otro mas pendejs total son un par de pendejos.

  • what a retard driver, the only hummer i like is the one that wet and costs 20 bucks on the corner of providence

  • That's no Hummer it's a Bummer

The only real Hummer is the H1

  • These people need to learn how to pull vehicles out. Jerking the chain like that could do some serious damage.

  • i got my scout stuck so badly that a dump truck plow couldn't pull me out. I was pretty proud of that.

  • The Scout was first and is foremost.

  • h3 sucks but h1 is best

  • H1's are good for one thing only, Swallowing abuse, that is all. they are to big, they are to heavy, they are to underpowered unless it is an H1 alpha, and even then a little.

  • its a proven fact that yuppies cant drive and own hummers this is proof

  • hummer ha thats something a lady gives you but a scout dont mess around when off road a true wheeler

  • Lame

  • check out my land rover defender video, they're expensive but at least you get what you pay for

  • h3 DRIVER had wheels turned UP the hill? Its all about the tires and the driver.

  • If you study the video closely you will see the rear wheel of the H3 spinning just before The scout yanks it out.

  • This video is a crock of bullshit, total blatent lie that it cant get out looks like it was covered in snow prior to " pulling it it out" and it didnt seem that hard to back up if ahole cleaned windshield off he could see maybe! You all wish you could afford one ha ha ha!

  • I would just like to say that this video is absolutley real. The hummer slid off the road and was framed. Stuck even with the electronic lockers activated.. all whheels just a spinning and my buddy had to walk a mile to his house. That night Devner received about 3 feet of snow which added to his problems. The scout pulled him out... no conspiracy here

  • Jeeps, Bronco and 4x4s in that nature rocks. They are true off-road pioneers. How ever I do like the old Military hummer. New Hummer sucks

  • Sweet!=)

  • hummers suck so bad

  • dumb rich ass h3 drivers. stupid.

  • POS hummer. Scout rocks.

  • international harvester saving the day again, they do everything but drive themselves!!!

  • H1 alpha. thats all i have to say

  • That's a nice looking Scout!! Right ON!!

  • im a jeep driver that loves scouts and hates hummers, but you gotta admit the driver was an idiot for driving through that. yet, hummers suck. independent suspension, 6000lbs of metal, and a good crawl ratio doesn't mean that a hummer is a good offroader.

  • Hahaha, IH Scout'd kick all y'alls butt.

  • dude like i said do some research and if the snow was that high then i wouldnt drive into something like that... well actually i would lol. but H3's suck thats my point.

  • Yeah but his point is that this isn't any evidence what so ever of that point. Therefore you don't really have one and you're just being a tool about it...well that's just what I think really.

  • maybe you should just shut up and uninvite yourself out of this convo. so what if iam been a tool? wtf

  • piece of shit H3's if your gonna be in terrain like that do some research and buyt something that actually kicks ass. like a toyota
