And for the record I have no problem with the Leafs...I would cheer them on as an alternate team no problem. Cuz they are Canadien. Now you will argue that Montreal is not Canadien cuz they wanted to seperate and they are frenchies etc. I am not from Montreal..but check history...the Montreal vote saved them..it was the Montreal vote that kept them part of Canada. Yes it is right that lots of people hate legacy teams. Heck I hate the Yankees but when my Jays dont go far I don't go taunting Yankee fans every series they have waiting to rub it in. I keep it to myself. Getting vocal with a Yankee fans whose team does better than mine is just foolish.

I was at Station 10 in '93 when the Habs won the Cup...Never understood rioting over a hockey game.,ESPECIALLY when people riot over a series win...Thankfully,my first hockey game was at the Forum in '76..The year they lost only 6 games all year..I remember the UNPRECEDENTED run they made from 1976-1979..AND 1986 .It must suck being a Habs hater and being a fan of a team that has not won a Cup since the invention of colour TV,or only won a hand full or never won one at all....Sucks to be you.

@canjrs Every team DOES have a fair share of a-holes, you got that right, but the Canadiens, Flyers and Canucks have a disproportionately higher amount of 'em. Personally, I'm a 'Hawks/Kings fan, yet I'm based here in Montreal. I've seen some grizzly things happen here, and I read the stats provided by Spike.tv, who named Vancouver fans the most irritating in the league.
