I made a vow to myself to never watch a rated R movie with a few exceptions like Schindlers List. Even rated PG 13 movies are vulgar such as Easy A. You would want to take a shower after watching it. Heck, even a movie like Happy Feet has (subliminal) sex scenes. Sighs

It is ridiculous for this person to say what the "church" should be doing. What does he mean? The Baptists? Methodists? And which one of their hundreds of factions? You can't have any organized action because you guys don't even agree on tenets of faith or the meanings of a particular passage of Scripture. You don't have a unified "church" to speak of.

Christianity is just another form of control. Film industry has ALWAYS been in the hands of public manipulators. Twenties experiments flawed because of too many unwanted babies where born and many women died because of unprofessional abortions. So they went back to drawing board. And inveted anti baby pill in sixties and all came back: mini skirts, free love, etc... Only instead of jazz there was rock music. They Wanted to create egocentonic society, where everybody will worship only themselves

The last movie I saw where I was encouraged to abstain from sex before marriage was actually "Jaws". The promiscuous girl, Chrissy, was going out into the ocean for sex with a drunken partner and met a shark instead.

Fighting/caring about this seems so hopeless, especially when fellow Christians have such apathy about it all. I find myself not caring anymore the way I used to. : (

@VorthosForum Isn't God a loving God? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God hates, God dislikes and disapproves of, but doesn't hate. This skewed view of Christianity is part of the problem with the United States. We are a Christian nation, but we are so fear driven that we can't see past our own ignorance.

You know I was going to watch this but the emphasis on the s, ch,k were oh so tiring. And in a relaxed state I didn't want to be put under command after being opened up by some of the trigger tags in this media. Sometimes the media is just a spin off of stolen truth, so as to deceive the consumers. They work to ensnare the masses to control them further. The way information is delivered has been an ensnarement since the beginning.

BTW, if you think Hollywood was Pro-Religion during the Golden Era you are completely insane. You also don't know jack squat about film history. The mythology and imagery of old Hollywood is built around the pagan gods. One of its earliest classics was a film about babylon.
