Does anyone know if muskies swim in the top or bottom of the lakes during the summer season and do thye just randomley bite when you are swimming around with abunch of people splashing and jumping off rafts??
@countrylover9055 why, have you been bit by one? If they do its gotta be pretty rare because ive never head of muskie or pike biting people. I wouldn't really worry about, its not like they could do serious damage or eat you. They're still freaky fish though, I do understand that.
@threedaysgraceftw1 That is very interesting, I didn't know that. I've swam in lakes if pike in them and never had this problem. I guess i just assumed that they were like any fish and swam away if people were near. But if they do attack people I don't think they can do serious harm can they?
you had a 50incher mounted? must of been a big girth on her. This one was skinny like an eal! so yeah she is not impressive to look at, but head to tail she was 53. But frankly, I dont care if she wasn't.. skinny fish are nothing to brag about.

You've never heard of pike biting people? They're actually known to attack people, even water skiers. They are really territorial.

50's? eh try 48" tops. why no measurement taken? the 2nd one was 38" tops. You handled them nicely.
greenberet069 3 years ago
