Jesus did NOT provide for me as a teen when I was homeless, and although I got lucky and found a foster home, I know if that hadn't happened I might have had to resort to sex work. @animetributes Well I guess all prostitutes are different then. Anyways, most prostitutes are mentally unstable. It's an affirmation of her ego, & an illusion of acceptance. And don't say there's no other jobs, prostitution is taking the easy way out of going to a real job and working your butt off for the money. It's degrading to your mental health and your physical health. If you respect yourself, you're not gonna let any man in the world do whatever they want to you just for money.

@Depplover15 Exactly. No, it has nothing to do with ego or acceptance, it's just a job like any other. Some like it, most don't just like any other. Sorry, but just because you're lucky enough to have a job in this recession doesn't mean everyone else is that privileged. Homeless people are unemployable because of lack of an address, some people have problems with their immigration, ID, past work/criminal history, etc. sometimes, everyone is overstaffed and no one is hiring.

@Depplover15 Which is very common nowadays in this recession where even people with advanced degrees are starving on the streets. Working your butt off? Having sex again and again IS working your butt off, like you said it's mentally and physically draining, meaning it IS hard work. Plenty of other jobs are mentally and physically draining as well, what's your point? And that's absolutely not true. Some people just like sex, it doesn't mean they don't respect themselves.

@animetributes No. That's not at all what I'm saying. Most people that have real jobs have at least enough dignity to use their brains instead of their vaginas to get money. Sure, lots of people hate their jobs, and actually I'm sure there's some prostitutes that like their job. But you don't even realize what they have to go through mentally. @Depplover15 Actually, most of those crappy jobs are physical labor that don't require any brain usage and are no harder than prostitution mentally. Exactly-some prostitutes do like their jobs (though most don't) and there's nothing wrong with that. Guess what? Plenty of other jobs are mentally draining as well, I'd say being a teacher is more mentally stressful, and no one ever says anything about that- and actually, I know more about this industry than you think lol, my own cousin works in it.

And what is so ethically questionable about consensual, agreed-apon sex, as long as no one is being raped, no child is being harmed, and no one is being lied to? And no, not all of those jobs lead to success, and prostitution is hard work too, you try having sex continuously, it's draining. LOLWUT? How so? How do sex workers lack self confidence? How hard is it for people to see that this young woman is emotionally damaged and lost? Making "logical" choices or "ethical" choices isn't always easy for some women who have a skewed sense of what normal is, love and sex. Most prostitutes are sexual trauma survivors.This poor girl obviously loves her child but is very,very lost and is continuing to sacrifice herself and her child for deeper reasons than we know. she needs help,not insults.
