  • Ralph Williams had a Ford dealership in the LA area in the 60's

He plays second fiddle to legendary Cal Worthington

  • You realize he works for Ralph williams...

  • "Used Cars" movie salesmen are much better!

  • I was half expecting Ralph Williams himself to come racing in and punch that guy in the mouth mid-sentence. "...bald-headed prick..." This is GOLD!

  • lol....this can't be the late 50s if he is trying to sell a "used" 1966 ford so this is probably closer to 1970

  • Come on down to Cal worthington Ford in Long Beach

  • "Dont worry about the equipment, imagine all the fun you can have in the back!"

  • I would SO BUY A CAR FROM HIM~! WHAT AN HONEST GUY~!

  • ID BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR

  • Hilarious.

  • This guy must have sold like 800 of these

  • this guys awesome

  • Chick Lambert and his dog Storm.

  • the big headed bald headed son of a bitch??? rudeness

  • this is from 1966 or so, the car grill is a Ford or Plymouth from 1966 ot '67

  • Couldn't be from the late 50's, he's selling cars from the 60s!

  • "take a fkn car like this" lol

  • LMAO!!!! Love it!

  • Gotta be a fake.

People didn't talk like that on TV back then.

  • @jb0177 of course they did...

  • yea never buy a car frome a bald headed fucking bastard LOL

  • WHAT THE FUCK i like him

  • ...what ..the..hell......

  • The best car ad ever for sure

  • there should be more car salesman like him around these days

  • wow the FCC would have had a lot of fun with this.

  • Haha this is crazy.

  • Take a fuckin' car like this!!!

  • IF you listen, he tell, it's 1966 or later. Thats a 1966 Ford Country squire station wagon.

  • Thumbs down for cutting the end off

  • Rent the movie "Used Cars". Very funny movie. There is a scene that is a duplication of this clip.

  • @NYver4get That price is too fuckin/ high! KABOOM

  • Yes, most likely 1960s, maybe even mid to late 1960s, the ad was in color... color TVs and broadcasts were not common until the late 1960s and this isn't even a national ad, its just for the Bay Area

  • Yes, most likely 1960s, maybe even mid to late 1960s, the ad was in color... color TVs and broadcasts were not common until the late 1960s and this isn't even a national ad, its just for the Bay Area

  • Ummmmmm sorry to burst your bubble, but those cars are from the 60's, u notice those primative windshields like on today's cars, unlike the more advanced 50's wrap-a-round windshields, well the car models in the b.ground are not from the 50's but early 60's.

  • lol that was great!!!!!!!

  • I remember the real ads by this guy in the Bay Area. We thought the real ones were hilarious but this is just the best ever.

  • the used car salesmen of today could learn a thing or three from this guy .. (if you can stand the stench of cigarette smoke wafting off his sport coat and his charcoal breath)

  • A honest used car salesman; Hmm. Makes you think.

  • "why not let ralph williams fuck you?" LOL

  • "take a fucking car like this" lol lol

  • Hillarious!!!! LMAO!!!!!

  • Bad ass!........when this was truly a FREE country.....

  • this is great!

  • It's not from the late 50's, but that salesman is funny!

  • cash for clunkers baby, dont buy that klunker

  • hmmm I wish ALL car salesmen were this HONEST nowadays...he was right when he said the owner was gonna F.him out of his car and make a load of money on his old car...but I guess thats how the auto buisness world works...fuck the little guy, then charge as much as you car for the guys other car he just traded off...yes ALL salesmen are the same crooked assclowns!! eat that soco13466!

  • When I sold cars, I was honest. We did have one, named DICK O'..... He made claims that weren't true. Contrary to common belief, not all car salesmen are crooks. The prize for dishonesty goes to politicians and lawyers. "Change we can believe in," with no hint of exactly what the "change" is. Pocket change left, after high taxes and watering down the money...

  • Is this dude serious?

  • Larryeyesky,

This looks like Chick Lambert*, and it is from about 1967---No way is it 1950's---I grew up in Calif with those commercials.

    Thanks for uploading.

*Usually, Chick worked in the San Fernando Valley, back before the Pachucos took it over.--- Ahora, no se puede vivir donde estan matando, robando, y peliando. (Calif as we know it is gone, but it left some mighty fine car commercials & parodies thereof.)

    --Calif Refugee

(part of the exodus that moved out, with the smart money)

  • and the car is a 1966

  • bboucharde: Yes! it IS from '67 or so. How would I know? Well in the 50's, they wouldn't have had a '66 Ford station wagon for sale as a used car, unless of course time travelling gremlins from the planet Remulak had made it possible. The guy who uploaded this either wasn't thinking, or doesn't know a 50's car from a 60's car, or just typed in the wrong year. Now you never saw Art Grindle Chevrolet ads, from Orlando in the early 70's. Makes this ad look tame, hehe. Tellya whatta gonna do...

  • LOL thats what I was thinking too... a 66' in the 50's ??!!! hahah I like how you said it!

  • that right there is some funny shit! LOL

  • thats not the late 50s its at least the late 60's thats a 66 car

  • Sounds like an outtake during a commercial shoot from a commercial. You can hear people laughing in the background so obviously, this guy is spoofing the real commercial. There were several Ford commercials like this back in the 80's and it's still done today!

  • funny commercial

  • wow this is awesome as fuck!!!!!

  • i bet this guy had a beef with that guy he"s dissin and made this for blown off steam. who knows mayeb it aired live. tv used to be all live back then. there was no time lapse. bet he got troub lol.

  • Now, THERE is an honest used-car salesman!!

  • Hey in the description, the guys says this happened in the late 50's That Ford is a '66 model. Must have been a time traveler

  • Tellya whatta gonna do, cuz I like yer face, I'm gonna letya use yer trade as the down payment, no problem, yer car is a piece of shit, we'll just bump the price on the new one, say yer ole' piece 'o crap is worth more... I got connections ya see, bankers... Oh ya say the new car has a scratch? No extra charge!

  • We need more honest salesmen like this today if there were maybe the detroit motherfuckers wouldnt need a bailout

  • bretthehitman: Are you saying that the salesmen from the Honda, Toyota dealerships are saints? Inside poop, pilgrim: in any given town, you'll find sales staff who move from dealership to dealership, and brand doesn't matter. I know a guy who worked for Chevy, Dodge, then Honda, as a sales manager. It doesn't matter. You obviously have a stereotypical vision of what today's cars and dealers are. I worked as a salesman AND for suppliers. They share many common sources, much as computers do.

  • It must have been satisfying to do this.....exposing some greedy crooked octopus in this manner. I have often wished I could expose the dealerships I have worked for in the past for what they truly are. Too bad it was never televised.

  • THIS IS GREAT!

  • Someone had just been told they were fired.

  • this was not made in the late 50's like the description said more like the late 60's

  • i was just commenting on the honistey of what he's saying

  • It's spelled "honesty", man how can I tell you were 'hooked on phonics'?

  • they allowed swaring sweeeeeeeet i miss that about today

  • You got to be an idiot to believe what you just sad .

  • just a word of advice. In today's modern society, calling names often leads to big lawsuits. speaking from personal expierence.

  • we`ll see how modern this society will be , after this economic crysis is over . so you better save your money , instead of starting an expensive lawsuit .

  • and fuck you , by the way ..

  • sorry, i didn't mean from me. i have no problem with what your saying, i'm speaking from personal expierience. i don't want to start a stupid lawsuit over something stupid. i have nothing against you, it's everyone who has a problem with opinions. say what you want. i don't care. i'm just telling you that other dumbasses might. sorry for the poor wording

  • No no no. I'm going to get that station wagon, I love old wood paneled station wagons:D

  • they should make modern car commercials like this, car sales might go up :) lol and i am on my way, i am going to get that ford wagon! :)

  • I'm sure the FCC would have a few words themselves about this guy! Awesome commercial!

  • "Imagine all the money that that bald-headed prick Ralph Williams is gonna be making on the car he's talk- trying to fuck you out of!"

    XD

  • Finally, truth in advertising.

  • Reminds me of the live commercials they they hacked onto the airwaves in Used Cars.

  • Go see Cal - And his dog spot!!

  • OMG I'M FROM SAN JOSE! DOES THAT MEAN I GOT FUCKED BY THIS GUY TOO?!?!?!

    fuck.

  • i think you just really wanted to say that you are from san jose

  • For sure.

    X)

(note the asian... or AZN symbol) ... yeah I'm actually from san jose.

  • back then most commercials ran LIVE. So this could of been seen on TV!

  • I don't think this was ever on the air, I think it was just an outtake done for the amusement of Ralph Williams and the crew. Amazing that there's a copy of it though. Must be early 1970's, that looks like about a 1968 Ford.

  • I LOVE IT ...makes wanna buy a car

  • we need more salesman like that........lol

  • id so buy a car from him lol

  • Funny as hell!! Now I want a Country Squire!!

  • lmao, wow

  • This car commercial is pretty crazy, but if anyone has any old Art Grindle car commercials from Orlando, Florida, they're even crazier.

  • Those WWII hardasses were crazy.

  • This is fucking hysterical.

  • It's Chick the Prick Lambert!

  • i am pretty sure you can hear someone laughing in the background, FRIGGIN HILARIOUS

  • This is hilarious, but it must've been a rehearsal take. No way did they air this.

  • lmao

  • When was the commercial aired? It's definitly not a 1950's commercial! That car is from 1966!

  • HA!
