I think its funny that the Jewish people kept up with a pattern of falling back to worshiping idols...which shows how even back then with all the crazy stories being so fresh, even THEY weren't affected by "God's magical powers". The character of God has got to be one of the most ineffective Gods ever written about.
The people that actually believe what these people say are true idiots and slaves of ignorant scholars. These are just foolish assertions by scholars who have some truth mixed up with many lies. Anybody with a brain wouldn't believe half of what these people are saying. Basically the only people who would believe this are people who are against the belief that the bible is God's inerrant word.............No wonder. God has made the wisdom of this world foolishness.
