  • This was my first ever favourited video on Youtube.

  • As a fan of Ghost Rider. I hate this movie because Nicholas Cage sucks at playing him.

  • pro

  • This is suppose to be a haunting song, this version is too disconnected.

  • awsome. just awsome version. kick ass

  • It sounds too metallic and distant.

  • I don't like this version...

  • It's a good version, but the best version goes to The Highwaymen.

  • This version of the song is the best, it gives it a more energetic feel, and more momentum

  • who agrees the game is hella hard

  • @caca20149 I do agree, some points are hard, but I do like the game.

  • Really instead of Nicholas Cage they should have used........ummmm.........uhhhhh...........well...............uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Robert Downy Jr. anyone?

  • @Roadman1000 Stone Cold Steve Austin?

  • @dorkfish94 Yeah.

  • @Roadman1000 Just someone younger, maybe late 20s, early 30s would have been good, choosing someone as old as Cage to play Johnny was the only real issue I had with this movie.

  • @Adamguy2003 Yeah

  • This song was the only cool thing about that movie

  • sorry spiderbait, I like most of your stuff but this.... Jonny Cash you aint.

  • @KurosOverkill And neither comes close to Marty Robbins

  • 94 people walk by legs!!!

  • Игру русские разработчики делали?)

  • Put Ghost Rider in the next MARVEL VS. CAPCOM game and let's see how he'd do in a one-on-one fight against Dante.

  • the movie part was good, the song fit it well, but the game part was ehh

  • looks like god of war action ( the game part )

  • eter fonda - what a fucking legend

  • Where'd you get this song!!! I've been trying to find it!

  • LETS RIDE

  • El grand del grande wanker in the world: Nicholas Delwanko Cage

  • starts out good,,,then turns into an add for a video game!!!! LAME

  • Yippie yi Ohhhhh

    Yippie yi yaaaaay

  • lame video. cool song tho

  • That movie was shot in Melbourne :)

  • @ZeppelinFloydRoses Really? Cool!

  • The game is soooooo stolen from God Of War ^^

  • this version is the best =)

sure, the version from die apokalyptischen reiter is also good, but this is the sound of the roads ^^

  • Very good version .Thanks

  • Silly movie but entertaining. Cheers.

  • The hell cycle is the meanest thing on the road

  • ghost riders in the skye who is the original composer?

  • @ROD97897

Vaughn Monroe was the original recorder

  • Does any one know where I can get this version of the song? I have looked on itunes under "Spiderbait" but they don't have it in their music listing. I was hoping to find a link for it on the videos but all of the videos i have watched so far don't have one. ( you know the thing that pops up on the video with a link to where you can buy it) If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

  • @sasunaru125 I've looked for it for ages, but it just doesn't seem to be for sale anywhere. If you want to amuse yourself, look at the digusted customer reviews of the film soundtrack album on Amazon when they discovered the track wasn't included.

  • the game is a cover from devil may cry?

  • what is the games name i wamt to get it so bad it looks fun :)

  • Gotta love Spiderbait! :D Rock'n roll forever!

  • that ghost rider game is similar to god of war.

  • Some of the movie was filmed in Melbourne, Australia.

I recognize the CBD area of Melbourne with the suspension bridge over the Yarra River, and a glimpse of St. Paul's Cathedral.

The chubby punk girl in the clip is Rebel Wilson, a well known Australian comedienne and actress.

    Cool!

  • @OzzInter about where it was filmed thats worng its made you look like that part of australia because its realy creepy i watched the movie today and they gave commentary and said that

  • Some really serious slide guitar there!

The bass sounds like a galloping horse!

Very different from the Marty Robbins version but I love it!

  • Best drum fill ever at 1:24 , I need to learn that!

  • 1:09 chris jericho???

  • that movie sux tho

  • wtf... i used to think this is old n corny but im rockin my fkkn head off to this!!!

  • blackheart is one of the best looking charecters on marvel, this movie fucks up bad for make him have a regular human aperance

  • um in the comics din't blackheart die then become 1 milleion demons????

  • Yes Very Good

  • Ghostrider a good movie? Please.

  • @2fast4u2beat

aaahahahaha oh no....but its laughably bad.

  • @wafflzfan Nah GR only did one good thing..Establish who GR is. At least the sequel will be good;)

  • @QuassDebonair Nope, it also gave us the kickass rock version of Ghost Riders in the Sky.

  • @QuassDebonair are they even going to make a 2nd one?

  • @youdragon Yes. They actually have a deadline to start shooting it. If it's not in the works by november,Cage is leaving to do national treasure 3(which would open up a spot for a new Johnny Blaze)and the rights of the character revert back to Marvel

  • Nothing Special :P

  • i wish that they would make a ghost rider2 or somthin caus the first one was so good.

  • @TROOPER1EF a second one would only ruin the first one

  • ya i ges i could agree with that cas it WAS a good stand alone movie.

  • wasnt bad eh?

  • They are.

  • @TROOPER1EF Febuary 2012. Ghost rider 2.

  • i love this song! i still haven't seen the film! and i rate wanted too. "yippi ai ay!"

  • @100blueeyedboy The film is really good, and I really don't like super hero films, but this was good as a standalone action / kick ass film! =-)

  • Comment removed

  • Let's just say Spiderbait knocked this one out of the park !! Kick aSS version !

  • can someone please put this song on spotify??the one with spiderbait

  • certainly pretty good but the outlaws version is much more gritty and southern sounding which i think goes better with this song and lyrics. plus the outlaws singer sounds like a man not just a boy.

  • This song was first sang by a man named Stan Jones in 1948, not by Johnny Cash.

  • "LETS RIDE"

    peace

  • this rocks!!!!!

  • This song was first sang by Johny Cash and it was something between a rock ballad and classic rock..So its definitely not Metal. But songs like this and ,for example,"Born to be Wild were the inspiration for the first of Heavy Metal bands as Metallica,Black Sabbath and Motorhead.. ROCK & HEAVY METAL RULE

  • Comment removed

  • Peter Fonda = Legendary!!!

  • Can live with refering to this as rock ... but metal... not unless we toss in Shakira n crap into that mix aswell... and that aint happenin on my watch, hell no...

  • I love this band.

  • That's called Metal today? Nice Song but it's Rock maybe HardRock but noway to call this a metal song.. (come on kids)

  • This movie was really good. I dunno what you're talking about.

  • I thought it was good too but way too short

  • wow this looks just like devils my cry lol

  • I thought the same :P

  • Cage looks really old with his helmet on!

  • Anybody else notice that the gameplay is almost EXACTLY like God of War?

  • amen.. fucking yeah. i have to admit i wasnt born in the eigthys and i regret that every day.

metal is dead but lives in all of us

  • metal is still alive and going strong worldwide bro

  • Hell yeah

  • Metal's the only strong virtuoso genre we have left, and virtuoso music is the only true music there is.

  • Metal was never dead...

  • @manofvalor365 Feed the beast!!!

  • Emo?HAHAHAHA and you are talking about true metal, seems like you don't know that much about music yourself.

  • What are you, 12? Testament had a huge impact on the thrash metal scene in the 80's. Sure they're not Megadeath or Slayer, but they still have made their bits.

If you're going to rag on someone, at least have a fucking clue what you're talking about.

  • Children Of Bodom's cover is by far the best of all the covers

  • agree, and on second place comes the outlaws

  • nooooooo way johnny cashes version is betta

  • totally agree

  • I think they are both very good. They both do in a different and cool way. but that's me.

  • Is that peter fonda?

  • yup

  • the legendary henry fondas son

  • want that bike

  • great song, but the game vids kinda ruined it...is it just me, or duz the game look a lot like god of war?

  • i wish i could change my face into a freaky devil skull

  • Seriously weak film but I liked this song

  • awesome movie

  • in ITALIAN troppo forte!!!!!!

  • the song is good but when u put the video game stuff in it it kinda ruined it

  • Great song ;D, and the film is very good :D

  • Ghost riders in the sky!

  • gow rip off lol

  • the ghost rider game is like god of war kind of

  • the game looks like an awesome combination of Devil May Cry and God of War

  • LoL yeah it looks like this game is made out of mods for Devil May Cry :'D

  • Ghost rider the game huh? looks like a halloween version of Devil May Cry o.o

  • Is that Rutger Hauer?

  • It's Peter Fonda

  • love this song

  • good cover but i prefer me first and the gimme gimmes.

  • I don't know about anyone else, but Scarecrow was a bitch to drop.

  • LETS RIDE!

  • Jonny Cash plays verry good version too

  • i acually thougtht i was a alright movie

  • I will call on that one rockpop1...the absolute worst nick cage movie ever was weatherman!!!

  • This version is the best!!! Especially the end!

  • actually the original song of ghost rider in the sky is of johny cash

  • not true, the original was composed by stan jones in 1948, and many musicians recorded it, johnny cash didn't play it until 1978 :P

  • Nope its by Vaughn Moore

  • The Vaughn Monroe version, the best-selling one, was recorded on March 14, 1949 and released by RCA Victor Records as catalog number 20-3411. The recording first appeared on the Billboard charts on April 15, 1949, lasting 22 weeks and peaking at position #1. [3]

  • ACTUALLY if you wanna spit knowledge u should learnt eh facts bro.... its by stan jones

  • Its by vaughn moore idiot

  • And maybe before you go telling people to go learn facts so they can spit knowledge. Maybe you should learn it yourself

  • "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend" is a country and cowboy-style song. It was written on June 5, 1948 by Stan Jones. [1]

  • nope it was vaughn monroe

  • Published1948, Edwin H. Morris & Co Inc

    Released1948

    GenreCountry, Western

    ComposerStan Jones

  • .....its.....ok..i thought u were right..but this the first time i have ever heard this song..so...that just shows how much i know about good music..

  • No internet mention of 'Sandy Jones'. Please explain???

"(Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend" is a country and cowboy-style song. It was written on June 5, 1948 by Stan Jones. [1] A number of versions were also crossover hits on the pop charts in 1949. The ASCAP database lists the song as "Riders in the Sky" (title code: 480028324[2]), but the title has been varied numerous times, such as "Ghost Riders", "Ghost Riders in the Sky" or even "A Cowboy Legend".

  • thank god someone else here isnt a fuckin idiot... so many people are so stubborn to the facts

  • stan jones wrote it.... never recorded it though

  • i think someone named burl ives did it before him and i heard someone before him wrote it and never performed it. but who cares, all we need to know is spiderbait did the best version

  • hahaha!
