Seriously they did that a lot. "The walrus was paul" is a line from the song Glass Onion.

There wasn't really a billy shears. The idea for SPLHCB was to have a variety act; all these different acts. check out For the benefit of Mr. Kite, thats similar. But they got bored, and had all these other ideas so the bulk of the album is just tunes :P

The singer is ringo, paul really liked his voice so he wrote songs for him to sing.
