  • uMMM. Realisticaly The mpc is a DRUM MACHINE, with a sampler.. The Mpc is famous for the Kicks it has.. Why not go get a cheap sampler and a cheap drum machine?? Sample was dope tho..

  • @bwflolo ayo...you sample sounds with a sampler, program MIDI sequences of samples [drum tracks/loops/whatever-the-fuck-you-wanna-call-it track] w/ a *sequencer*. MPC [M]IDI [P]roduction [C]enter is a sampler + sequencer. it has no kicks unless you sample them.

  • whats the name of that drum break near the end?

  • Cool sample! who is it?

  • the montclairs - do i stand a chance

  • Thx!

  • why not just get a ground loop isolater for that hum mate? youd get one from radioshack for about 20 dollars?

  • well...I had heard that some of the ground loop isolators mess up the sound quality because they get rid of some of the low frequencies that u actually want. I ended up gettin that hum x and it works just fine.

  • @siqone that filter gonna get rid of those frequencies too - starting at 60hz. few things. 1) ground the 5k to the mixer. run a ground cable from the 5k's phono ground to a screw [ on the metal chassis] on the mixer. probably aint the problem, but it wouldnt hurt. 2.) power cables touching audio cables make that exact noise. fuckin' happens to me all the time 3.) yo I love that montclairs song. do those other 2 things and if possible get rid of the hum x & sound should improve

  • ohhhh word tru tru i have the 5000 so if you need any help with anything or if u have any questions on how to use shit on it, i am pretty familiar with it.. i can help u with the timing.. idk if you know how to quantize.. it is easy, if u need help let me know bro aiight peace

  • why dont u add the drums to it on the mpc and still track it out on pro tools? thats what its for.. if u bought a mpc5000 just to play samples on it thats dumb lol

  • um...I still use the mpc to add drums I just add them separately because I can't get the timing right on the mpc. I chop up the samples first, then I add the drums in the pro tools session.

  • wuz good yo nice sample.. just bought a 5000 trynna learn it ya feel me.. any suggestions??

  • nice sample man just take your time putting it toghther sounds like you know what your doing keep it up
