I just had a fun dragon fight. I snuck in the Orc mine to get ebony. When I came out there was a Frost Dragon. I had no healing potions... but luckily recently learned I can heal and somewhere I had picked up a flame resist elven shield. Took a near suicidal run to the orc fort to get inside and spawn Lydia to my side. At that point she is my bait and I was able to get after him and bring him down when he landed.... That was the most fun. I did it while listening to your video. =)

Save your leel ups for dragon and other difficult fights. When you level up all your bars og magic, stamina and health are completely refilled.

Daedric armor stats are better than the Dragon armor. and it wasn't stunned it was a super glitch haha

you can right click your mouse and it cancels a aimed arrow so you dont have to shoot it and go pick it up

you should check how to join to dark brotherhood and do quests for them after you kill the emperor you get +30k gold and you can use it to get smithing to 100 or something else

light armor is the best armor for light armor users

heavy version of it are the 2nd best, daedric are better

for quick easy money - try join the black brotherhood = 1k gold per assassination, your own mount, and 20k gold at the end. then use this money to powersmith iron daggers up untill 90 / 100 smithing for daedric or dragon scale

make sure that you spend your dragon souls I made the mistake that I didn't know how to get new shouts, just go to your shout menu thing and it will say to spend a dragon soul.

@metalmuse94 light dragon armor is better than heavy deadric armor... the armor cap is around 600-700 (cant remember excactly how much) so by maxing out your blacksmith-skill by making a set of +blacksmithing, + alchemy (for the potions to increase blacksmith skill) etc etc. If you did that with deadric armor you would go waaay above the armor cap so there would be no point in doing that. With dragon light armor you can easily go over the cap aswell.

Hey Hobbs i got a dirty little trick.

When you apply a point into HP/MP/energy you regain full hp and such.

So when fighting dragons its a good idea to have one point available to regain full hp free

Hey Hobbs. Heres a tip for the bow. If you notch an arrow but you dont want to fire it just hit R. It will sheathe your bow and you wont fire the arrow.

Hobbs you can avoid shooting your already drawn arrow into the wall by simply sheathing your bow, this way you dont have to go looking for that 1 arrow that you didnt need to shoot.

The dragon wasn't actually stunned for that long when you shouted, dragons just tend to get bugged into the ground easy, unable to move or attack. Had this happen a couple of times myself.

@NeoxideMolten Hobbs hes right, what i did to maximize exp in smithing was go between 2 vendors, first one in the companions guild by the skyforge and the other the smith in riverwood. Note that they refill shops every 48 hours just go between them and youll have probably 40-60 iron ingots and 50-70 leather strips. also maybe this is a bad thing but i advise to not get smithing until a level your comfortable because smithing levels you up a whole bunch

@BigD022895 there are 3 vendors in whiterun, Two at the entrance to the city 1 outiside usually and one inside, the last one at the skyforge. It very fast to level your smithing in WR and when you got all the iron ore and bars of the vendor fat travel to another city buy some more from the vendor there then fast travel back. Then enchant all the daggers with banish if you have since it sells for about 3times the amount of dmg enchants. That way you make gold and get ench and smithing to 100.

I play argonian, heavy armor 2h weapons, i use bows when in stealth.

really simple tactics for all dragons:

Get them to a open area

use the battle should the instant he lands infront of you

before the animation is even done, open up your inventory and apply a damage health poison to your wep

from there deal as much humanly possible as you can

avoid the the flame/frost

use health potions

sounds more complicated than it really is... lol

i have a wood elf char and i play only with the bow...once u unlock some perks in the archery it gets really easy vs a dragon but with no perks it does low dmg

Also Hobbs,

you can trade with your companion, giving her all your loot so you can carry more.

If you send her back to your house, she keeps it and you can get it back whenever. However they also have a carry limit.

Hobbs if you buy any of the charged destruction spells sch as fire ball or lightning bolt from the wizard in dragonsreach and use it on the dragon's corpse you can send it flying hundreds of yards with a single cast. Also they have a longer range than your other spells so you won't have to use a bow and arrow.

I wouldn't recommend powerleveling smithing mindlessly with iron daggers. Sure, you can get to 100 skill in a couple of hours, but there really is no point. Would you really want to have the best armor and weapon in game by level 10?

Hobbs, love the video. FYI the frost resistance potion is real OP in the game, is very useful against anything frost including dragons. After drinking one, you barely take any damage whatsoever, even from a dragons frost breath. Keep up the great work!

Lol the stun thing was a bug hobbs :) never happened to me even tho I use the same shout. A great tip, use the shout when it's breathing, it will stop the breath and you can attack it for a few seconds while it doesn't attack you.

Hobbs I know a few tricks. If you make the wood elf archer in Riverwood your companion you can have him train you in archery and then since he's your companion you can take the gold you spent on skills from his inventory back into your pocket.

About dragon armor, an easy way to level smithing is to only make Iron Daggers as they are cheap to make and give the same exp as any item. Make sure to go right on the smithing constellation though so you can get Daedric armor which is better than dragon
