happened to me once... increased the volume and then decreased it real quick... scared the shit out of me. i have to keep my ipod and phone on separate sides of my body when i walk to class

I heard my ham friend's phone noise through my LM-386 speakerbox, so the phone interference goes all the way down to 0 on the dial (that is 0 kHz). That phone is nothing compared to my Leader Electronics Wall Wart that powers my cable modem, I'd say it's S9+60 db 200 feet from the house (the radio equivalent of a rocket at launch pad). The last time anyone in my family had a cell phone, we had dial-up, so I haven't got to test if the wall wart causes dropped calls from the interference.
