I am a Pipe Major of a Pipe Band. Allow me to assure you that the tune is "Scotland the Brave". The pipers repeat the tune several times. After the break we hear a solo piper playing "Amazing Grace" then the Band picks it up and repeats it.

Amazing grace done by a single bagpipe sounds a lot more haunting then with a whole band i buried my grandfather and father with a single piper doing Amazing grace and other people who were visiting other graves stopped and listened

All these Rieu concerts have one thing in common: they're a once in a lifetime experience and there's nothing else like it on the face of the earth. I saw him in Sydney and it's simply amazing how he has people in tears one moment and dancing I the aisles the next. Nothing is too outlandish for him, all he wants is for people to enjoy themselves and go home after a night they will never forget.

I attended the concert in Toronto Dec. of last year and it was truly awesome. As the bag pipes came down the isles and the playing of amazing grace filled the place it was truly overwhelming. The bag pipe players were Police of Ontario.

i'm a dancer of andre rieu... there were a total of over 600 persons involved in the whole show... about 100 stage builders who set the whole thing up, 250 staff, and 250 performers, which includes 150 bag pipers und drummers from the canadian police, 84 dancers from the viennese dancing school elmayer and vienna opera ballet team, and ice skaters from canada
