  • @DeutcherKonnig

I think you may have missed the point. This was what I used to car carry to and from areas that I was going to UOC. The "thunderware" would not qualify as a legal option for me.

UOC is now against the law so the point is moot.

I prefer a real holster made for one gun and a sturdy belt. A gun in my groin is not an option.

  • The case cries out to any nosy cop (GUN!). No dude, when I'm in CA, I carry my 1911 in soft pouch over my groin and have never been hassled.

    ht tp: / /w w w.thunder wear.com /holsters .asp

Put your stuff in a sleek attache case instead

  • Thanks for educating US, and for supporting OUR RIGHTS...

  • @drewlipsey yes it was a statement. In CA it was leagle to open carry an unloaded handgun. I would carry loaded mags also. The thought was if needed the gun could be loaded and ready to use. It will be a misdemeanor after jan 1st 2012.

I agree with breaking unjust laws! I will protect my self and family after the first. I plea the 5th on how.

  • i dont get it, y the hell would u ever carry a weapon thats not loaded? is this a fashion statement in ca? look, carry ur weapon loaded and concealed. better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

  • just wondering as i just got stationed here in cali, if the mag itself has to be empty itself when being carried as well. And can you open carry in a vehicle? Thanks

  • when is the next open carry in long beach?

  • @BullyChicken any time you set one up. I personally dont UOC anymore. i do not have the money to fight BS criminal cases brought on by Ahole LEO. They won. I do still have a way to protect myself.

  • I fortunate to live in Kern County with a great sherrif who supports CCW. Don't have to worry about threading the UOC needle! Maybe it would be easier for you to move?

  • @ryanburbridge: I'm pro 2A but sometimes seeing you guys wearing that "kafir" tee shirt disappoints me so much.Just my opinion as a pro 2A Muslim.BTW no offense intended.

  • @MrHossain110 Thank you for the comment. May I ask why you are disappointed? As far as I know the term "kafir" means (In Islamic parlance, a kāfir is a word used to describe a person who rejects Islamic faith)

If this means something els let me know. If it only means i reject the islamic faith then im fine.

im glad you pro 2nd a but i would ask you to be pro Constitution pro liberty pro freedom. the beauty is that we disagree and are free to do so.

    No offense intended or taken.

    carry on

  • @ryanburbridge Well,I believe that the constitutional right come as a package and as a "whole" and one cannot select the ones he likes and ignore the other parts so yeah I am pro constitutional and pro liberty , I hope that answers your question regarding my belief in the constitutional rights.Regarding the tee shirt I believe that it is in a way "taunting" muslims .You do not believe Buddhists religion but do you wear a tee shirt stating it? It is absolutely your constitutional right to wear

  • @ryanburbridge ... that tee shirt but you ever thought about the message it sends to the majority of muslims who are peaceful? It is just like if I would wear a tee shirt that says I dont believe in Jesus(which in reality I Believe in him as one of God's messengers) that may or may not sound so tasteful to a lot of Christians.I know it is a little difficult to relay my point but I hope you try to understand it.BTW it is great to see a fellow 2A supporter educating others.keep up the good work.

  • @MrHossain110 I can see your point. I also would assume that any peaceful Muslim would understand who the shirt is directed at. If Buddhist were as in your face as Muslims I would be more in your face with disapproval. I am a christian and must watch as people make fun of and disrespect Jesus. It's fine by me.

I would like to see more of the nonviolent Muslims speak out and condemn the Muslims who would want to kill others.

I will be the first to say that the USA should get OUT of WAR!

  • leave our gun rights alone in Cali i need to defend my family I need open carry of my pistol! What am i suppose to use when a gangbanger attacks me?=============

    Harsh language :\ ????

  • Wow California sucks, in Georgia you can conceal and open carry without all that hassle. If a LEO does approach you in GA they cant check your firearm and you can carry LOADED. Also Georgia doesnt have a limit to how many guns you can carry on you and how much ammo you can hold ALSO!!!!

  • Baaahahahahaha!!! "I wanna show you guys ma set up" Shut up you pansy. Why in the F%^kin world are you gonna carry a gun without bullets!? He man sheck out ma new gun woooohoooo aint got no bullets though. Its a mighty fine paper weight and dem girls at da trailer park thank im real tough lookin with it on.

You guys in California are so LAME! LOL!

  • @EricRyanConstantine

LMAO! That was one of the best impersonations of me I have seen. Read it to my wife and she agreed! LOL good one keep em coming. Better yet make a vid with you doing an impersonation and attach it.

    thanks for watching.

  • Hey,

I live in the city of Los Angeles, and am about to turn 18, and want to start open carrying my Sig Sauer P226, but I had a few questions.

Do you carry in Los Angeles?

How have your encounters been with LEOs?

When I carry do my loaded magazines have to be limited at 10 rounds?

If you do not know you are within 1000 ft of a school are you still responsible?

    Thank you!

  • @USSpecOps93

ignorance of ur position relative to a school would probly not be accepted by an cop and/or a court (even if it was accidental), always be aware of such things as you could get in trouble some people are not overally observant of the constitution.

  • how long did it take for you to get aproved to carry? im interested but i need some guidance

  • I think California would save us all alot of trouble, by sliding into the ocean

  • @vsnips I think your father would have saved us alot of trouble if he DID NOT "slide" it into your mom !

  • I'm in Los Angeles and this is pretty much useless to even bother with open carry when its not open carry. An unloaded weapon is useless. You may as well try to beat a criminal with it so carry a heavy book instead. I understand its an attempt to maintain our 2nd Amendment rights but we are more likely to get shot down by the trigger happy thug cops out here. A couple big cholos stop you on the street and you WILL give up your little purse there dude. Carrying is just an invitation to get shot.

  • @angstotheclown

it is not the most ideal carry method i agree. BUT i would take an unloaded GUN with ammo in mag ready to load then a BOOK any day. Criminals are NOT dumb. they are very good at what they do. I dont think a criminal will play the odds when it come to an armed victim. there are too many unarmed victims out there to even bother. one added bonus is to bring guns back into daily life. the more people do it the more normal it becomes.

  • i live in the Inland Empire so if there is a group or a gathering in that area i would like to know so i can join this fight for our freedom of OC and the right to protect my family as well as myself.

  • i live in the inland empire and i think fightinh for this right is a great idea. With the way this world is turning out i feel that it is better to have that added security rather than being victim. I have the right to protect my family as well as myself, i have been a victim of an attemtepted assult from a group of individuals and by the grace of god i was not shoot so after that situation i feel that i should have the right to defend myself as well as my family from ANY danger.

  • there are better transport units for the car, i will get you a link as soon as i find the info.

  • In rural area'a you can have it loaded right? i usualy do.

  • I respect u for doing open carry but i will never do it my self to much problems from cops and I hope we will get concealed carry here not some bullshit may issue

  • @seven47katana i myself hope for what AZ has put into place. LOC or LCC with NO permit. We should be able to arm ourselves whenever or however we want. Thanks for the reply.

  • I would rather keep an unloaded magazine in the grip than just leave it empty. If a bad guy sees you with an empty mag well then he has a drop on you. If you put an empty mag in the grip you are still perfectly legal. However, I have not open carried yet, maybe if I had others with me doing the same I might try it. I live just north of Long Beach, if you ever have an Open Carry event, let me know. Thanks for the informative videos.

  • @GTVAlfaMan I dont buy into the whole bad guy thing at all. I don't think bad guys are dumb in the slightest. they are career criminals who don't want to get caught or go to jail. They must way the outcome of every crime. EG: midnight old lady at atm all alone = no fight from lady no witness dark = odds of getting away with crime very good. OR Young man fit with a unloaded GUN +ammo night at atm is the 200 worth the shootout? Umm i think not. IMO. For me i like the easy unloaded verification.

  • Hello, I have a similar but smaller LUCC setup. I use either a small gun rug with an integrated locking zipper to carry my 9mm and I have also used a soft sided nylon shaving kit bag with a TSA padlock thru the zipper tabs for LUCC. I believe this meets the requirement that my firearm must be unlocked, inside a case, with a locking device or padlock. However, do you know about any transport restrictions? I have seen some mumbo jumbo about LUCC is only legal between approved places the gun range.

  • @GTVAlfaMan Read the PC your self if you can lol. you can find PC12025 at w w w leginfo ca gov take out the spaces and use dots

  • While I don't think that open carry is smart, I'm still fuming pissed over how the cops treated you. Fuckers...

  • @MegaGevehr I would pob carry concealed IF i could get a CCW. I do think open has a better response time. and if more people open carried the bad guys would be put at a disadvantage. I think Arizona has done it right no permit to carry however you like. A+++ for AZ

  • looking forward to more videos on this subject, can you get concealed carry license in CA. , and if so why bother with open carry unloaded? thanks..

  • @ITHINKUREALESUK CA is what you call a MAY ISSUE state. I have to ask the chief of police for my county for a permit. He dose not consider self defense a GOOD CAUS for a permit. UOC (unloaded open carry) is my only option. If i lived in an incorporated city I could LOC (loaded open carry)

  • @ryanburbridge if self defense isnt a good cause for CCP then what the fuck is. cops are so dumb...

  • Great news on the defeated ban! It's unfortunate that even police officers have no idea about open carry. I talked with a friend who is cop, and he said that there is no way that you can open carry in CA. When I showed him the legal notice from the sheriff's stating that it's legal, he was so upset! They think that they alone can know the law! Most of the cops I have talked to, had no idea that it is legal.

  • @mnmdc Its cool that you informed him. It is scary how elitist SOME cops are. I hear cops say well your not trained. Umm statistics show gun guys train more then most cops. They say people will be scared. I say then they should have a gun too. I will be making some more vids on this later. thanks for the comment.

  • Where did you get the quick detach? Who's the manufacturer? It looks easy to detach. Can someone walking by detach it just as easy?

  • @californiaflash Good question. It is made by BLACKHAWK for their SERPA line of holsters. The female part has 8 cogs if you will like a gear. 2 of them have a spring loaded latch. When the male (holster) cog is and rotated clockwise a few degrees the latches lock in place. There is NO WAY any one walking by could undo the latches. Ill post a vid.

  • hey, do you have to have a special lockable case for your handgun? for example, i have a glock case for my 22. can i just take a lock or chain and lock the handle so it can't fully open?

  • @stixs2005 Thats correct. NO special case! The law is clear a FULLY enclosed case thats LOCKED. A trunk of a car meets the definition when you drive. I just dont see how you get the gun into the trunk.

The Penal code is 12026.1 and (c) reads

    (c) As used in this section, "locked container" means a secure

container which is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock,

combination lock, or similar locking device.

Look up the law yourself link in vid description

  • but if you r on the road and not on school property it can stay on your hip

  • @dickson091381 Here in Long Beach CA there are more schools then one can count. If I drive within 1000ft of one I would be breaking the law. But I do most defInitely carry on my hip IF I can. Thanks for the tip.

  • You a calgunner?

  • @safewaysecurity CALGUNS? Yes but I spend most of my time on the opencarryDOTorg site. How about you?

  • @ryanburbridge Yeh I spend my time on calguns I just go to opencarryDOTorg for the maps.

  • did you not that you can open carry in you car you do not have to put in the box win you get in to your car i have had more cops call on me for pull my gun out of the box and put it on my hip then just keeping it on

  • @dickson091381 I could keep it on my hip BUT if i drive through a SCHOOL ZONE then it must be in a locked box

  • You can carry in the movies, But when you get out of the movies the gun has to go back in the box? I think that's what you were saying? My god if that's true I feel sorry for the gun owner's in Cali. I think your set up is smart and well thought out though. Again if I'm understanding this correct? Here's a question. When you get to the movies does the firearm have to be visible on you hip? Great Video I wish I understood the law in more detail. Keep it up just subed.

  • @StMichaelsCrew Sorry I may not have been very clear. In CA you can conceal with a CCW permit. IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME due to the MAY Issue law. An unloaded gun INSIDE of a FULLY inclosed LOCKED case by definition is NOT concealed. It is against the law to carry a LOADED gun inside of a incorporated city. A gun is considered LOADED when it has ammo in a ready to fire position IE. full mag in gun and or round in chamber. CA has its own GUN FREE SCHOOL ZONE or GFSZ. It says you must not bring a gun

  • @StMichaelsCrew within 1000 feet of a K-12 school. A gun INSIDE of a LOCKED FULLY INCLOSED case is exempt.

SOOO when I drive my gun is UNLOADED INSIDE of a FULLY INCLOSED CASE LOCKED. Then if the place I am at is outside of a GFSZ I will open carry an UNLOADED gun and a FULL mag.

OH ONE MORE CATCH!!! Private businesses can ask you to LEAVE if you have a gun.

    Thanks for watching

  • @ryanburbridge Hey man thanks for clearing that up for me.I know I sounded like a moron but I didn't understand.I'm a retired patrolman,18yrs. from a large city and I never heard of such a screwed up law. I believe in CCW permit's and concealed only. Open carry is a joke in my book. You know and I know the gun laws in this country do zero in preventing crime. I feel sorry for law abiding citizen's in our nation that are subjected to these ridiculous laws. The place I never want to be is in a GFZ.

  • i still dont do LUCC. i cant conceal a case like that haha. good to see another video come out from ya dude
