The only thing I think the Corolla lacks is chrome door handles for added appearance. And I do not enjoy the orange interior lighting at night. And they could use a clock in the middle of the dash but there is no clock. And they should REALLY give you a choice for leather seats and a reverse beeping/cam system, And it could use a little bit more horsepower. But other then that, it's the PERFECT compact car, and you pretty much forget it's a compact car! Which is pretty AWESOME! 4 1/2 Stars :)

my dad got his corolla and hever change his Oil. Yes, never. He just keep add oil as he told me he change it once about 20000 mile. yes it's 20k mile. Until now somebody hit him and the car was Fubar. and he walk away with a little dizzy from air bage.

Corolla needs to put 4 wheel disc brakes on all trim levels, not just the XRS.

It uses a new Electronic Steering system. It's Dangerous for me.

Electronic Power Steering system....totally safe,proven and not new at all,actually saves fuel ,reduce effort,eliminates parts like,steering pump,hydraulic fluid reservoir, ,i own a 2008 Hyundai Elantra,my girlfriend has a 2009 Honda Civic,both has that system,also BMW,Audi,Nissan...so.......

I get 700km per tank of gas mixed city hwy and its 50L thats amazing my vw jetta 1.8 turbo only gets 400km and needs 91 premium gas

honestly you cant pass a full judgment on a toyota until you actually drive one. I didn't really like the look of the toyota and wondered what was so great about them but I test drove 08's of the Yaris, Highlander, Sequoia and an 09 Corolla like this one... and they are simply amazing vehicles. Great power, handling, the feeling behind the wheel is just great. The 2009 Corolla is a winner, but you need to drive it to find that out.

Im sory the interior looks very cheap and sticking woodgrain in a corolla is very very cheap. Other than that consumer reports don't really think it's that great of a car, and it's still boring looking as all toyotas are.
