  • Didn't know how to use that! Sweet, thanks! :)

  • I think it look s a bit desaturated. Nice photograph though.

  • OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! :D

  • Very great tip! that's really something i've been looking for. So nice to be able to adjust the shadow color so easily.

The second photo blew me away!

  • Yayyy split toning

  • This tutorial completely rocks!

  • Hi

    Thanks fot this tutorial

    Easy and useful

  • woW !!

  • WONDERFUL

  • I hate photo editing...this is precisely the problem in photography today. The first images only needed was a minor editing job, not all this split toning shit. You ruined a really a decent photo.

  • @KBeOKEH Photography is an Art therefore subjective, its fine if you don't like what he did, but its really not the problem with photography today, the very act of taking a photo is manipulating light, we don't naturally see with really shallow depth of field, hell, we don't even see all in colour, people have been manipulating photos since photography was invented

  • @KBeOKEH

Photography is just an interpretation of reality

  • it's called crossprocessing

  • this video is so good, thank you so much sharing that with us. Pls keep more coming

  • Couldn't you get quite a similar effect by adding a filter in photoshop? Maybe not as "split" lol, but it's even simpler if you want one main color effect.

  • @britrob24 ahah oh boy, it was obvious that he didn't want ONE color to affect the photo. it's all about the mix of color and the dimension it gives. and yes, you can use it in Photoshop, as he said.

  • @therearetvs

"Oh boy" the reason I said that was because it DIDN'T even look like a mix of anything. It looked like one layer of color over the entire photo.

  • are you really amazed by THAT ???

  • 4 the guy´s nagging about Ps,... get into PS, make a new gradient layer, then in that gradient layer select the TWO colours you would like.

Once´s that´s done, set the blending mode to "colour". the final step is just to lower the opacity of that layer to about regions of 10 to 25 percent.

On Topic, Nice vid !!! It keeps surprising me as well each time.

  • you can also desaturate and adjust the balance to tweak it just how you like it.

  • Liked it, except for the extended self-promotion, twitter and website tour... Thanks for the technique

  • You sound like cosmonaut :D

  • DOUBLE RAINBOW!

  • it looked nicer before!

  • so where's the tutorial for photoshop? where's the split toning in photoshop?

  • em, where do you put the download , i cant find the preset o.O?

  • I love you for this simple vid!!

  • cant find spiit toning in photoshop

  • you are awesome

  • 2 words : Thank you

  • Make the presets for aperture also =)

  • dude you're awesome, thank you so much.

P.s: you're right about "what the hell is your style?" I think one shouldn't stick to just ONE style, they should instead try and enjoy various of different styles for different photos, thanks again

  • Thanks! Looks amazing :P
