I agree, And tawnz1474: If you would know anything about tigers, you would know that they are very sensitive animals, they will run through fire and darts, even bullets if one of her cubs are in danger, any sort of danger. If this can help the tigress to get over a depression then bring in another set of piglets, poor tigers are nearly extinguished !

This tiger is obviously uncapable of having children, and was going to die through starvation. They're only doing this to save the tiger's life, not to make some kind of freak show, and I don't see the harm. It's not affecting the piglets at all. They look extremely healthy .The pigs are still going to grow up to be pigs, so what does it matter?

I have been to this park outside Pattaya, Thailand. The best was when the tigers, grown up pigs and two labradors (dogs) was in the same aera :) This large pig played with a grown tiger and seem to have a great time! The vets and the animal keepers in this park believe that if the tigers grow up with a pig mum (yes, the tigerbabies was raised by pigs), they will be more easy to handle. They have over 400 tigers.....
