Yes thats about right on average. The worst I have seen was on a 90F plus day giving a BFR and about 400 fpm was all it would do. This week was a bit cooler at 50F and with me and the father in law we were getting about 700 fpm. On an ISA day at 1000 msl with the aircraft at gross,500 fpm would be an honest estimate.

hey great vid - what kind of climb rate do you get with the HKS? single pilot and with passenger? My guess is 500 600 fpm with passenger?
