@vanquisher21312 It was a $99 J-Station... I believe it had delay, verb, tons of gain and a real slight pitch shift to give it a thicker sound. J-stations are really cool for recording IMHO and cheap as heck!

That is really cool dude! I have a black '87 RG550 with EMGs. They seem way heavier in weight than the RGs made now.

@GATvsGAT Thats odd i just purchased a RG550 and its a hell of a lot lighter than my 321 but that said the 321 is mahogany haha and feels almost as weighty as my les paul

Are you talking about the harmonics? when you move your right hand, it changes the nodes... gives it that random harmonic thing.

They all make perfect mathematical sense.

a) use the right hand as a capo

or

b) dampen the strings when doing a legato 'hammer/pull off' satriani style 'thing' :P

Sorry, figured it out by ear. main theme is in G minor (use a blues scale with the first finger at the 15th fret) The other part is E minor, blues scale w/first finger at 12th fret.) Solo goes all over the place.
