Acually the scene at 0:21 has been edited from the episode were gadget races Dr. Claw. That scene was when Gadget tried to break into the garage right has Penny opened it. When he looks back is when he sees either Penny or the open door!! lolz

When I was a kid, I actually thought there was something to hearing Dr. Claw's voiceover over the chief. I was SO SURE that it was a hidden clue that the chief actually WAS Dr. Claw... and I was waiting for it to turn up in a later episode as the most awesome plot twist ever. @JordyMordyMoo Gadget's voice was done by Don Adams. Dr. Claw, Brain, and MAD cat were voiced by Frank Welker. Frank also voiced such popular cartoon charaters as MEGATRON and SOUNDWAVE from G1 transformers.

fun fact....Dr. Claw's voice is the same voice frank welker used for Soundwave. It was processed through a vocoder though to get soundwave's distinctive voice.

He was older in the 80's but his voice was exactly the same and he did a terrific job as Inspector Gadget. This was Get Smart with an 80's flavor and with a smart side kick girl rather than some seductive looking woman named 99 LOL

I wouldn't say that it is continued or redone! However, protagonist character, Inspector Gadget, is based on other protagonist characters such as Maxwell Smart in TV Series "Get Smart"!! ;-)

BTW, antagonist character, Dr. Claw, is based on other antagonist characters such as Ernst Stavro Blofeld in Films with "James Bond" from "From Russia with Love" and "You Only Live Twice" to "For Your Eyes Only"!! >=)
