i love living on miami beach. i live right across the street from the beach near bayshore. south beach is wayyy overrated, it gets terrible on memorial day weekend when all of the ratchet ppl come[just look up the youtube videos]. the rest of the beach really is just your average beach. there aren't "hot babes" walking around all the time ect. & it is overpriced. my brother who lives in boca raton got a bigger apt than me but costs less. boca raton is a nice place to live too.

Been to Hawaii 3 times (Oahu), live in LA for 7 years (been in other places in California too), lived in Miami for 3 years. South Florida (especially Miami) is the best. Hawaii is too boring and far from everything, nice weather though. California is very dirty, and the climate is bad compared to Hawaii and Florida. It is too cold and windy in California. South Florida has it all. Lots of stuff to do, Miami is quite a big city, and the weather and the ocean is great.

6:10, you just gotta love when artists and the gay community influx and gentrify troubled neighborhoods. Though gentrification raises property values substantially which negatively impacts the working class, it restores safety. Thanks to gentrification, residents from the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York such Williamsburg, Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvasant can walk the streets with a much greater peace of mind.

@common07 Downtown Miami is still a 9-5 business center. It's pretty active during the daytime hours, but it kind of shuts down after 5 PM. However, it is wayyyy better than it was years ago. All of the new condo towers have brought people back to living in downtown which has encouraged businesses to stay open longer.
