I stumbled across this show on mistake and kept watching it because the actor was the same guy from band of brothers and I have to say this show is like on par quality wise with walking dead, game of thrones, hell on wheels etc.. I would recommend it

I am pleased at Clair Danes's character. She's willing to sacrifice her career and honor in order to stop another terrorist attack. We can only hope there are real people like her in the CIA and Homeland security. Great show!
Hi, I am not from the USA but i like the show. The writing is good and the acting too. They have managed to surprise me in a good way. Not so easy to do. As I watch the show I assume it is all fiction and does not represent reality but who knows *shrug*.

The last episode tonight was AMAZING!!. It turned out that Walker was alive & plnning an assasination, Brody was part of the Abu Nazir's long play plan, and that THE AQUILLES KNEE turned out o be their characters disolving in some cases familly lives.

I don't think they've insulted race or religion as of yet.

The last episode tonight was AMAZING!!. It turned out that Walker was alive & plnning an assasination, Brody was part of the Abu Nazir's long play plan, and that THE AQUILLES KNEE turned out o be their characters disolving in some cases familly lives.

After just two episodes I'm not sure there's been enough story for everyone to get all bitchy about! Islam and Iraq HAS to be portrayed because that's the war he was fighting. He happens to be white and may have been turned. Big deal! That's the plot of the show. Deal with it! I have a feeling BOTH "their side" and "our side" will be portrayed positively AND negatively throughout this series. Everyone needs to chill out and enjoy. It's great so far.

@Darusdei A terrorist(s), by definition, is always going to be portrayed as "super evil". The CIA, Carrie in particular, are not being portrayed in much of a positive light either! Like I said in my original post you replied to, it's early in the series and it's likely both the U.S. and whatever suspected terrorists' cultures will be ripped apart to shreds, but also shown the positive side. I don't think they've insulted race or religion as of yet.

The presence of Mandy Patinkin and Damian Lewis make this project a must see from the start. Claire Danes can hold her own too. The story sounds cool, but we'll have to see if they can carry it for multiple seasons (without being predictable; i.e. Claire Danes teaming up with Damian Lewis after Mandy Patinkin dies).
