@Jcob91 u cant :) neg accel start at 500 dpi and higher if u use high dpi its better to play with raw input... raw input gets all inf directly from mouse nor from dx or windows as it is in older games

@LRwutful Yeah, raw input removes acceleration caused by windows. Some sensors have negative accel due to be being madly made, which can't be fixed by raw input.

With 1000Hz polling and hyperglides on this mouse is just insane for me. So light and accurate, haven't used anything else like it. Funny because it's the first mouse I started gaming with then I ditched it for an MX518. Now I've come full circle D:

@JayDay111 bro sometimes comfort ability plays an important role as per d hands of pros......here is a ratio for using such mouses

20% sexy comfort and size such as a glove!

10%gamin console since it is made for cs 1.6 as per gamin

30% no negative parts

30% with a good mouse pad its just like a pwnage :D

10% great for reflexes :D

dats all some times comfort plays an imp. role D: :D

Hello, does this mouse have scroll problem like IME 3.0. If i bind +jump on mwheel up will I have unwanted jumps without touching scroll wheel.

Please somebody explain to me why so many pros use this mouse when there are so many other mice out there with higher dpi/polling and virtually no neg accel. The wmo is way out of date technology wise. The DA and Salmosa surpass it in almost every category. Yet the pros still use wmos. Is there some secret to its tracking that most gamers don't know about?

@JayDay111 Thats the mouse lot of them used in beginning of their gaming careers,so they just continued using it as it got no or small amount of neg. acc and good optical sensor.

I have MX518 and Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1A

I have ordered Steelseries SX and Steelseries Glide, should be here next sunday.

The thing is, I don't know which mouse to use / which mouse should I put the glides on, which will track better in your opinion? they are both very comfortable to my hand.

I got kinzu and I really like the shape of it. But optical hasn't very good tracking. I used IME3.0 has excellent tacking but bulky shape. So I am thinking to get this 1 or IME1.1. Which one you think is better tracking IME1.1 or this one? I wanted to buy Xai but I believe tracking wont be so good so just shape.

Thanks, I got Sidewinder X3 today.. much better tracking and shape too. Was thinking to buy this 1 but finally got X3. So far happy with shape and tracking. I think finally I got a mouse which suits both tracking and shape together after buying 10 other gaming mice. lol

Then how is it possible that some of the best CS and Quake players use Wheel Mouse Optical or Intellimouse Optical (both have the same sensor).

Apparently they do quite well with their mouses.

Also, unless you are a superhuman freak, your muscles cannot differentiate between one pixel or another when moving on the screen. As long as you are able to actually target the enemys head, you will do fine.

f0rest doesnt use wmo anymore

that being said an overclocked wmo w/ mouseskates is a good setup
