why do you underestimate yourself so much...you are one of the best musicians ive found on youtube...i wish i had a grandpa like you...i am 22 and i so wanna be like you when i grow old....thank you for spreading out these amazing arrangements and for not charging a single penny for them....
thank you for posting tabs on here along with the song, i have been looking for a couple of hours now for the tabs and i couldnt find them anywhere, you are a amazing musician as well, wonderful rendition, i look forward to learning it
Wonderful tune, very well played. I also heard PEO's version and I think your version is also touching the soul. I am wondering how beautiful your TAKAMINE is sounding.
Another very nice piece. I just posted my second video on You Tube at "Arizona Journey 2010". It features 3 of dads recorded pieces as background to my photos. Check it out.
You´re a great acoustic guitar player, and far away from incompetent old white man! This is one of my favourite songs. I love the version of Simon & Garfunkel so much! But yours is great too!
Go on! Rock us all...
P.S.: I´ll write you an e-mail for more questions...
This is one of my favorite songs! Parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme...yes, I am going to Scarborough Fair. This song speaks to my soul & plucks on the strings of my heart (chordae tendineae). So does this performance. Thankx for posting!
I love this song very much and couldn´t stop playing it last year. I find it very interesting to listen to the different versions here on youtube and I enjoyed yours!
Peo's performance of this changed the whole way I think about the guitar. And he's cost me a lot of money in new instruments. I wonder if I could sue him.
If they put him in prison because of your action I´m going to visit him and play this beautiful tune for him - I think it will be fun because of the good corridor acoustics :)
you first heard that OST. But what about the songs from anime you play? I know you don't watch anime, so how do you hear those songs? Your guitar too... you play that Takamine Hirade a lot. You seem to have an attachment to it. Is it a coincidence? Does it just have a nice tone to you, or do you have a particular fascination with it because of its country of origin?
I see you've discovered my trap. Trick young people into listening to old people music. Pretty soon you'll all be watching Lawrence Welk reruns on PBS. I don't think I have a special facination for all things Japanese, but they do have some great composers. They write good music. It's not the kind of music I would expect teens or young adults to appreciate. I've discovered a lot of the video game music here on Youtube. I listen to requests, but I don't feel obligated to do them.
@oldwhtman Hah! I KNEW all along it was a trap! You're trying to brainwash us! :P It's cool though. You're one of the coolest guys I know, young or old. :D
Well then, I have a few requests in mind... not that I'm holding you to it. At least give them a listen though... Check out the Cowboy Bebop OST. Yoko Kanno is literally the most brilliant composer I've ever heard. She can write anything from blues to metal, Jpop to country, and it always sounds good.
I'd love to hear you play Rouya, Waltz for Zizi or some kind of arrangement of ELM, specifically. All great guitar pieces, in my opinion, I'm just not nearly talented enough to attempt to play any of them, despite my best efforts. Unlike you. I know you can play them... ELM does have some challenging parts though. :P
just because it came from you. You see what I mean? The geeks that love anime/video games, like myself, are getting exposed to something other than anime/video game OSTs. :P
I also wanted to ask you... Do you have something of an appreciation for Japanese things? I remember you once said something along the lines of "good music is good music, regardless of the source" when somebody asked you about your CC covers. Another time, I think you said your daughter plays Chrono Cross, which is where
Lol! "I think he's really rich." You've got a great sense of humor man.
Great cover of a song that I'm ACTUALLY familiar with even though it's not from an anime/video game. :P
Speaking of, I've been meaning to tell you why you're awesome. A lot of your subscribers are fans of the Chrono Cross OST. I'd say probably most of them, in fact. What you've done is hooked these guys in with your CC covers, but then when you upload a classical guitar piece, they listen to it when they never would have
Very well played. Not like I play this one . I suffer from CRS and can't remember where I got the version I play from. It's way too sour to even think about posting. Great job!!!
That's what I like about this arrangement. It doesn't try to sound like Paul Simon's guitar/vocal version, which I love, but this arrangement works even better as a solo piece.
Actually i love the way you play it too. thank you so much for sharing. it is different to Peo but only in the sense that it is expressively different. I love Peo because he his arrangements are always so soothing...
wow, this is amazing! it sounds much cleaner than the piano rendition, and this one seems to have much more emotion to it. beautiful, by nature and by sound.
Thanks. I've never heard this on the piano. Now I have to search Youtube. But, if you like this arrangement, you should check out AndanteLargo's performance. Flawless.
I didn't know Mr. Bensusan did an arrangement of this. I can't wait to hear it. When will you be ready with it? I've been working on a Philip Rosheger piece for over 2 years now. It should be quite embarrassing for me when I finally put the video up.
yes he did, tough I have to admit that arrangement seems way over my league....its tremendously difficult. 2 years working on a piece..? hmmm seems I have the same with "nice feeling" ;-DD

Yes, I am talented but I am not rich... Score: 1-1
And when I was here, there was no related link to me! Dammit! I'll make a complaint to YouTube staff.
