@MrZarkurn Actually wearing pink won't matter. The color red (pink is light red) cannot penetrate more than 12 meters down in the ocean. So once you're at that depth having a pink suit won't matter in the slightest, you'll go back to looking gray. The only reason we see brilliantly colored fish and coral reefs in film is that people bring lights.

That man is right sharks can smell blood a long way away but one small detail he missed out study shows that sharks dont even really react to human blood dog blood yes fish blood yes in fact dog drives sharks nuts and fish of course they love fish but human blood does not seem to even get a reaction not sure why but that's how it is it was tested by pouring blood in a water enclosure with a shark and seeing how they react results where surprising.

Electroreception and smell are long-distance targeting methods. Alot of research on this. Check out Woodshole, Mote Marine, etc. Good sources for sharks.

@emogreendaygurl I guess the shark notices it has erred when it realizes that the thing it attacked was not what it thought it was, it kinda like gets the first taste and notices the mistake, then leaves it at that. That's why so many people survive shark attacks. If the shark had actually wanted to kill and eat the man, he wouldn't be there to tell the story. Good thing he didn't get too much damage and survived. A brave man. :)
