LoTRO has turned into garbage since going F2P. Shoot, their expansions (since Moria) are abysmal.. small, unoriginal, and they don't even spend money on musical scores anymore they just recycle regional music from SoA. I won't even bring up their horrid customer service (they permanently ban accounts for having used but four "swear" words over a five year period or close to that). They're piloting a sinking ship. Turdbine (and LotRO) now blow chunks.

Thing is I NEVER got any warnings. I used "ghey", "Fuken", "Fucking", and I think one other "ghey" over a span of four years and nine months. They banned me because they're biased pricks. They have this thing about "ghey" being an anti-gay slur and yet anyone who has gamed for years knows that's not the case. Regardless, they're losing out on money by banning folks for using but four words... yes that's right... but TWO SWEAR WORDS in over FOUR YEARS. Screw Turdbine.

@DaMuses There's a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech. Using a homophobic term to describe something negative falls into that. And they're not losing money. They are, however, keeping the maturity level of the population abnormally high for an MMORPG. This should teach you to read the rules and learn to know when and where what language is appropriate.

@DaMuses That said, even that kind of language isn't appropriate in WoW. The thing is, no one reports the abuse in WoW. As a case in point, my nephew got a warning on his WoW account for saying the word "pissed."

It depends what you want. If you want easy gameplay that holds your hand, graphics that look like a cartoon, and fluffy gay pandas, then nothing beats WoW. But if you are a grown up and you want something more like a real world or more challenging gameplay, then there are some games which are far better than WoW.

Unfortunately the only evidence I have of my claim is anecdotal; however, of my 20 years playing MMORPGs, It definitely seems the average age is about 28 years old with a majority between the ages of 20-25.

I used to play the game before it when f2p. Loved the game so much, but had to quit because my computer was a piece of trash and couldnt handle anything anymore :\ Idk if I should get back into it or not.. I had a guard, hunter, champion, and captain fully maxed, but now they are behind because the cap was probably risen with more expansion packs. The storyline is just so amazing..

You must turn off all programs what work with the internet: google, fire fox, messenger, the videos of youtube don't watch it, don't download other programs or videos because the internet is put more slow of many programs what have in progress. This game is so annoying...the most annoying mmo I ever played. You always getting stunned, crippled, debuffed by everything you fight. That means in every fight your hotbar goes gray,...drop to you knees stunned unable to anything AND you got debuffed whatever stat they want to gimp you with for FIVE MINUTES!!!

@XxDrRouzzoxX This game runs surprisingly well on Intel GPU's which is what I'm guessing yours has being $300. One of my wife's laptops has an Intel GPU (don't remember the model off hand) but I was pretty impressed at how well the game ran on it.
