We need help right here in Canada! If you want to help street dogs, inbox me. Our First Nations communities are over run with over population of dogs. We are at a loss of what to do because we have other crisis on our hands as well. (Such as our water source. Right now we can't drink our tap water!). We badly need a spray & neuteur program for the dogs. I live in Constance Lake First Nation, Ontario. Inbox me for contact info, there are street dogs in Canada too.

@HSI I know where you guys can help street dogs. In First Nation communities all across Ontario Canada. I live in a First Nation Community and there are tons of stray/street dogs that are continuosly breeding ,(it is common to see packs of UP TO 20 dogs roaming the community while they are in heat). These packs of dogs are so bad that they even kill each other when competing for the female. Most of the time it is ONE female with the remainder of the pack are all male.

@samxtra1 It turns out that the kind of spay/neuter/vaccinate program we run is not only more humane, but more sustainable and effective at reducing the risk of rabies to people. It's not an either/or choice. Our parent organization does much to protect animals in the U.S.

@ZSophi11111e You're right! We care about cats, too! Most of our work to make their lives better is around spay/neuter and fur issues. We also do a lot of work to protect large and endangered cats in international conventions (like working to increase penalties for people who trade in the skins of endangered cats).
