@BoyanaKitali Yes it is possible to kill him without the spikes. I killed him that way for the first time, since I didn't knew the "trick". It took-me about 10 minutes of continuous fire.

@BoyanaKitali Mabye you are not perfectly aligned with the spikes... Look for the brown dirty areas, instead of the grassy ones.

It's possible to kill it only with the dual pistols, you just have to be patient enough, it takes about 10/12 minutes.

If you want to defeat T-Rex, you need to get front of spikey thingy trap and when t-rex runs on you, and game turns to slowmotion, press: Shift-D-And right click, at the same time, lara does this only when the red ring comes visible, then shoot and do these keywords..

Don't forget that the target (in this case T-Rex) must be locked (hold right mouse key) and only after that you can do Shift+Directional Key. When the sight turns red (and the bell rings) you have to press the shoot button (usualy it's left mouse).

@rubenpunk1983 É necessário pressionar um conjunto de teclas que activa o modo adrenalina. Na versão PC é Shift+Botão direito do rato+tecla direccional.

Im having a hard time getting the rush right... I know I did it a while back when I played but I just cant get Lara to make the jump. Everytime I get the rush I press jump and a direction but she gets bitten by the t-rex... what am I doing wrong ?

Hi there. I don't play this for a long time, but from what I remember, I think that for you to make the adrenaline dodge you have to press 3 keys almost simultaneously. I think the standard keys for PC (my version) are: Space(Jump)+Shift(Dodge)+Direc­tional button(Left, right,etc...)

I think I remember now. When the rage bar fills up, the T-Rex will try to ram you. Lock the target with right click and don't unlock it, and when the screen blurs press jump+directional key. When you hear the *Bling* fire with left click. And that is it.

Right before the creature gets to you, run to the side and it will allow you to enter into the adrenaline mode. Dont shoot until that little circle gos over their head and turns red.

I don't know wich version are you playing, but in the PC version (the one I used to make the video) you just have to press "S" wich is the key configured for doing down movements, in the controls.

I thought TR: Legend was great (I'm a keyboard+mouse guy, so the control scheme was awesome). Then I played this and I had to double-check if it was the fore-runner to TR:L. You know, how a brand new engine's first game should be the most unpolished and have some gameplay elements that simply don't work. Then I learned it wasn't the first...

Shooting=click-click-click-cli­ck, the precision shot feature is quirky, aiming sucks etc. Too many little things TR:L lacked frustrated me to hell

Therefore, I do not agree with you, because every Tomb Raider has "auto aim", so this shouldn't be an exception. And I do not consider it a bug because TR is a platform adventure game, not an FPS.

I understand. Legend felt more arcadey (more fluid) and Anniversary felt more technical. They're just different. Anniversary's more technical controls felt more like an unnecessary hurdle to progressing through the world.

At what point does one decide if the player is too unskilled to deal with the control mechanics or the developer made it too complex or limited? The latter is the problem that Derek Smart runs into. He makes his games WAY too complex. So, is it poor design or stupid gamers?

i despise interactive cut scenes where you just press a button and every thing is ok :@! tomb raider has gone down hill in my opinion and the adrenaline bar is a bad feature :( makes game too easy

Here is a small "How To" (PC Version):

To do the "Adrenaline Dodge" you have to fully enrage your opponent, then just lock the target (right mouse with the default keys) and when the screen blurs press Shift (default keys) + left/right... Now you're done! =)

This is actually very easy to perform, you just have to learn to manage the adrenaline gauge. To position correcly please read carefully my comment about this video.

Personaly I would take this feature out of the game since it makes it possible to kill almost every enemy (except Bosses) with one single shot and makes the game very easy! But the feature is there so enjoy it!

Christ... Makes it look so easy. This battle has driven me mad, I'm playing the wii version, and them bloody adrenaline dodges are a pain to pull off.
