  • Mmm, I tried this recipe and it was so delicious! I thought it would be too spicy for me but it was just right. Although I did do one thing differently by sauteing the jalapenos for a while before adding them in. Taking out some of the jalapenos' natural moisture helped keep the quiche a bit firmer. Great addition with the cream cheese though. Fantastic texture!

  • Could you get away with three quarters of a cup of cream and just a quarter cup of milk? I hate half and half, they put chemicals in it that ruin the flavor.

  • That was amazing! I really want to try it, I live in England but I can't seem to find any pie crust ! Is it possible to make your own? Bearing in mind that I'm 17 and my cooking skills don't go further than eggs on toast..

  • @CuriousSmiles Yes you can make pie crust! That's weird to me you can't find it in England. No pies?! What a world! Pie crust isn't really hard but there's a decent learning curve. You know what I would do? Cut the crusts off some slices of bread and butter both sides and press it down in the pan and bake it off like in the instructions and make a toast crust!

  • I love that you didn't remove the membrane and seeds from the jalapeno like some people do. It shows that you actually like heat of the pepper. Do you eat any hotter peppers like habanero or ghost chillies? I would love for you to do something with really hot peppers because I enjoy really spicy foods. Rock the fuck on

  • @cupchange Dude, you KNOW I like it spicy. I had a ghost pepper plant last year and made spicy margaritas with them. They wuz good!

  • I have literally eaten jalapenos everyday of my life (give or take a few years in the beginning), and I thought I'd had them everyway imaginable!! But never in a quiche! This is on the menu for father's day brunch at my house! I cannot wait to try it! I know it will be wicked!!
