Would you consider donating a wedding dress to me? I've been looking at dresses for months now and I am distraught because the one company that I wanted to buy from in the USA raised their prices so high and then told me that they shut down in December. I'm getting married in January. All I want is to look beautiful. This is a once in a lifetime thing for me. I'm very poor and we are having a tiny wedding in a chapel with less than 50 close friends and family.
Wedding gown manufacturers & designers do use Chinese factories to make their gowns, but they are under strict regulations to make them with certain materials & they have to be made according to the mfg/designer. The Chinese factories that are not regulated that sell their crap online can make their gowns any way they want to & use cheap fabric. Beads, sequins & flowers are glued on & not hand-sewn. The photos they use on their websites are illegally obtained & not what you'll receive.
@oldbridenewbride is correct, they steal images of dresses from legitimate sites, then make a cheap copy of the dress and then try to pass it off as the original. The dresses are made out of cheap fabric and basically fall apart they are constructed so poorly. You can get good dresses made in China but a good wedding dress is very expensive to construct. They are hand made, hand beaded. Wedding dresses are not mass produced so they cost a lot to make one at a time & are made for each bride.
Thank you! I am only 11 but when I get married I will only trust a store and not online. Because who knows how long it takes to deliver and what the smell you talked about is like. I might buy from you in about 15 years.
I ordered a ball gown from china and it was perfect, maybe I was lucky because I've heard a lot of bad things about the Chinese wholesalers, and it does make me wonder if I'd risk ordering my wedding dress that way. But I have no completes what so ever about the Gown I ordered.
I get an error when I go to your site.

I love the gown behind you to your right. The one with the sparkling bodice and tulle skirt.

What are you saying! China may seem bad to you but it is great in so many ways! They are so much better than you think!
